6 Mage Class Test

A Day has passed

It took a while but Mark realized that his dungeon has too many missing pieces, first of all, the Friendly Dungeon doesn't have any boss monsters, well it was actually not needed yet as the otherworld gamers can't even kill a rabbit.

Even the Demon race who boasts in their battle techniques and instincts got plummeted by the rabbits, well at first the Demon Race didn't want to take any training, and they didn't challenge the monsters in the Death Forest when the dungeon opened they tried to boast their strength but yeah no need to tell what happened..... They got rekt boi!

Now designing the boss monsters, Mark made a simple dungeon mechanic which was to pass the level, players must defeat the boss, once they defeated the boss, stairs will appear and then they could proceed to next level, Mark also made teleportation for the players who had passed the levels, you can't expect them to defeat the boss every time, that was such a killjoy.

Well, its only eligible to players who had passed the level, of course, they had to pay fees too, hehe, 5 coppers per person, the price will rise soon as they got higher levels, Mark started to laugh evilly as he imagined the otherworld gamers working hard, now designating the boss, Mark created a dungeon boss room which was very hard to find, well the dungeon was like a maze, it will also be interesting for players to explore the dungeon.

Finishing their placements, Mark added the boss monsters which level was a little higher to their dungeon level, for example, the rabbits in the first dungeon monster levels were level 1-3, and then the boss monster will be Level 5 and that was the fixed level of it, of course, Mark allowed the boss monsters to have skills.

Unlike the normal monsters of the dungeon, the boss monsters were made like the NPC's except their vessel was a monster and their intelligence will also be higher which makes it challenging, this monster was tasked to guard that floor and he cannot leave the boss room even if he wants to, he had to follow Mark so he won't do something like leaving the dungeon.

Mark also added a hidden function, if the players had killed more than a hundred of rabbits, a floor guardian will appear, well it was actually more like a pop-up boss, its strength was slightly weaker than the boss, but it was still strong, the chance of it appearing was below 40 percent, so just not to tilt the gamers.(A/N: Thank you to Syxber for the suggestions <3)

After everything was set and done, just in time an otherworld gamer had successfully gotten a class, or to be precise taking a test to get a class, Mark immediately took off and went to watch the test, the test would be taking on a different dimension and the test will depend on the class they would be taking.

There is no one else could see the test that will be happening except for Mark as he was the creator of this dimension, Mark snapped his fingers then a portal opened up in front of him, he first added some invisibility magic to himself, then entered the portal, entering inside, Mark was welcomed with what he knew the mage test.

The first player who got to take the class test was surprisingly a human, above his head was his name written "Syxber", around him was tons of books and a dummy that looked like a scarecrow, Syxber wandered around and doesn't know what to do, just then Mark finally remembered that there were no instructions on what to do the in-class test, he smacked his hand on his head.(A/N: take note that I would take names from my voters :D).

Mark pondered for a while then had an idea, he hid in one of the bookshelves and changed his appearance into an old man Gandalf with pure white hair and white clothes, he made some special effects to make him look like glowing, Mark took a last look on his appearance before nodding and leaving.

Syxber was looking around clueless on what he needed to do, just then he saw a shining light from one of the shelves, he got excited and immediately rushed into it, there he saw an old man who looked like Gandalf which was shining brightly, "What the heck Gandalf!" Syxber exclaimed.

"Now, now, young man, I would like you to follow me to finish your test," Mark said as he led Syxber into one of the books shelves, He picked a single book which had the title of <<Introduction of Being A Mage that even a monkey can understand>> it had a very long ass title, Mark gave it to Syxber and went to take a sit by the side.

Syxber immediately opened the book and in the very first page was the <<The Basic of Premise Mage>>

The basic premise of Mage: The Ascension is that everyone has the capacity, at some level, to shape reality. This capacity, personified as a mysterious alter-ego called the Avatar, is dormant in most people, who are known as sleepers, whereas Mages (and/or their Avatars) are said to be Awakened. Because they're awakened, Mages can consciously affect changes to reality via willpower, beliefs, and specific magical techniques.

The beliefs and techniques of Mages vary enormously, and the ability to alter reality can only exist in the context of a coherent system of belief and technique, called a paradigm. A paradigm organizes a Mage's understanding of reality, how the universe works, and what things mean. It also provides the Mage with an understanding of how to change reality, through specific magical techniques. For example, an alchemical paradigm might describe the act of wood-burning as the wood "releasing its essence of elemental Fire," while modern science would describe fire as "combustion resulting from a complex chemical reaction." Paradigms tend to be idiosyncratic to the individual Mage, but the vast majority belong to broad categories of paradigm, e.g., Shamanism, Medieval Sorcery, religious miracle working, and superscience.

In order to understand the metaphysics of the Mage setting, it is important to remember that many of the terms used to describe magic and Mages e.g., Avatar, Quintessence, the Umbra, and Paradox, Resonance, as well as the game mechanics a player uses to describe the areas of magic in which his character is proficient-- the Spheres, look, mean, and are understood very differently depending on the paradigm of the Mage in question, even though they are often, in the texts of the game, described from particular paradigmatic points-of-view. In-character, only a Mage's Paradigm can explain what each of these things are, what they mean, and why it's the way it is.

After reading everything up Syxber closed his eyes, why did this book say it was easy to learn that even monkeys can lear, does that mean he was below monkeys?.
