20 Chapter 20 : Cold Out

I made my way into star labs with Felicity. Soon I saw Cait doing a few tests on Barry's blood.

" Hey Cait, have you slept well?" I asked as I approached her. "Yes , I enjoyed yesterday , I am waiting for our next " saying that she came closer and i instinctively pulled her into a hug.

"No offence, but check the room before you get lovey dovey " said Cisco as he sat down .

" This is Felicity Smoak , a dorky yet smart friend of mine." I introduced her to everyone.

Few minutes of talk, Barry returned. He spoke about a guy with a gun that is shooting something like a freeze ray.

Cisco was showing a solemn expression. I remembered that he was the one who made it to stop Barry in case he goes rougue.

After the big reveal , Barry was upset as expected. Before I tried to calm him down he ran away. " I understand Cisco, but these things hurt people, and since he feels like he was betrayed the someone who he trusted, I kinda expected for things to turn out this way."

" Give him time and talk to him slowly, I know he will come around" I reassured him but I could see pained expression flashing on his face .

After a few minutes of discussion about the cold gun and how to disable , I suggested to to create a device that overclocks the device and render it useless.

Cisco took the lead saying that he needs to correct his mistake.

After a couple of hours where I had to use my super speed on my brain and did most of the work, without anyone noticing. At last a small sized emitter was built.

I called Barry and explained the situation, even though he was mad as a scientist himself he understood Cisco's action.

Later that night, Captain Cold now named by Cisco , was caught causing some destruction in the city streets. Barry went after him with the disrupter.

With me and the rest of the team watching it live from Barry's body cam which was only useful while he was talking as fast as normal human.

After a small fight, well small in normal terms but a pretty long one for a speedster.

Barry disrupted the cold gun but still was immobilised in ice. The team arrived in time same as the story except for my presence bluffed the hell out of him.

Leonard snart aka Captain cold left the scene . While in the original story he will ultimately become a good guy. But takes a lot of time and drama .

so as soon as the place cleared up , I went after him and destroyed his cold gun , dismantled it into pieces before melting it and made sure Snart had no ways to even come close to replicating it . I left a message 'LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN , I WILL HELP YOU TO DISAPPEAR UNTIL I DEEM IT UNNECESSARY . DO NOT HARM AN INNOCENT. EVER AS IT MAY BE THE LAST THING YOU DO'

Snart was shaken , he had a way out . Without thinking further he fled the city. And I made sure he did . Problem solved , he might come in handy for stealing stuff from big baddies while I kick their asses.

Couple of weeks passed by while I was busy with expanding my business, I started a relief program where the people who suffered due to Metahumans received help.
