Inside a large cabin there was an 11 year old boy that was dressed in a traditional white Karate Gi. He had raven black hair tied into a small pony tail and Ice blue eyes, sat crossed legged with a focused face.
*Bzzzt* *Crackle*
All of a sudden blue electricity began to surround the boy and crackle with ferocity, the boys face began to twitch ever so slightly for a moment but ended up calming down as the electricity seemed to gain an almost serene calmness as it continued crackling around him.
The boy jumped up and shouted with joy. "Finally! It took two months of focusing only on my energy projection, but I've finally done it. Now let's see what I can do."
Ryuji then stood up with the electricity still crackling around him and got into a boxing stance.
'Let's start with a quick one two.' Ryuji then threw out his lead arm and a small gust of wind followed, he then pivoted his right foot inwards and twisted his hip throwing out a devastating right cross, with a much stronger gust of wind following suit.
*bang* *crash*
The rackets in front of Ryuji that were holding up rows of wooden polearms collapsed from the air pressure Ryuji's punch just caused.
Ryuji had his mouth wide open in shock that quickly turned to a bright smile. "Holy shit, I'm amazing."
Moving over to the knocked over practice weapons Ryuji placed them back one by one. Holding one in his hand, he decided to see with his new breakthrough with energy absorbing, if the same would happen with matter absorption.
Ryuji's body quickly turned into the same bamboo material as the staff he was holding, he then placed the staff down as he held out his arm trying to will it, into becoming a mallet.
2 minutes go by and yet nothing besides little ripples around his hand, as Ryuji was about to give up and go back to training his body, his hand began quickly morphing into the weapon.
<Ryuji POV>
Looking at the bamboo mallet my hand had morphed into I had to do a double take, and started blinking my eyes repeatedly at what had just happened. Ever since I turned 11 a month ago, my quirk seemed to have gone through some sort of change, most aspects that I was struggling with, became much much easier than it was before. There were still parts that were hard to control, but somehow, it felt much more natural than before.
I then reverted back to normal and grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat that appeared on my forehead. Heading back to the house not forgetting to do pistol squat jumps all the way back.
Entering the house I saw mom in the kitchen cooking up dinner. Walking up to her and giving her a smile. "What's for dinner?"
Mom hearing this turned to me and gave me a sweet smile. "Sirloin steak and chips."
Hearing her answer I smiled back. "I can't wait! I'm going for a quick shower." I said, giving her a quick hug.
As I was heading up stairs I heard her shout up to me. "Great idea! You stink!"
———-Time Skip: Dinner————
<Narrator POV>
Ryuji sat at the dining table, his plate filled with the steak and chips that Akeno made for him. Akihiko looked at his son, who was staring at his food without touching it, clearly lost in thought .
"What's wrong Ryu?" Akihiko, having enough of his son's silence, decided to ask.
Ryuji looked up towards his father and smiled. "Not much, just trying to think of new ways to train."
Akeno, hearing this, rolled her eyes at her son. "Well enough of that, eat your dinner then you can think all you want about it."
Akihiko smiled at Ryuji then decided to ask him another question. "Ryu, son, what are your thoughts on learning a little on how to make support items? Who knows, might help you with your training."
Ryuji hearing this thought for a second before gaining a smile on his face. "Sounds like a Plan Dad. Gives me something to do while Senseis away."
"Well you can discuss that after dinner, both of you. Now eat before it gets cold." Akeno interrupted the two knowing they would get lost in conversation.
After the family of three finished eating, Akihiko took his son towards his garage, inside was a black 2009 Dodge Challenger, with the hood open.
'Wait isn't that the car that Kevin drove? Just not green with the black racing stripe?' Ryuji thought.
Ryuji noticed one key thing missing. Turning to his dad, Ryuji decided to ask. "Where's the engine?"
Smiling at his son, Akihiko then pointed to a box in the corner of the garage. "In there. You'll be taking it apart and putting it back together. I'll be watching so you won't hurt yourself and if you have questions to ask. When you can do it without asking a question, we'll move on to the fun stuff."
It took Ryuji around an hour of none stop putting together and taking apart of the engine under his fathers watchful eye before finally being able to do it without asking what each part is and where they go.
Akihiko lifted the engine into the car with ease and got a stool for his son to sit on so he could watch with ease what he was doing.
Akihiko looked at his son who looked as if he hadn't blinked in the entire 15 minutes that it took for him to connect the engine to the car. "Wanna see if it runs?"
Ryuji looking at his dad, eyes began to sparkle as he shouted excitedly. "Hell Yeah!"
Chuckling at his son, Akihiko picked him up and sat inside the car putting Ryuji on his lap. "Okay, just turn the key."
Ryuji nodded at his father and turned the key. Not a second later the car began to purr to life. "Woah."
"Woah indeed Son. It's yours when you're older so get used to it." Akihiko looked at his son and ruffled his long hair again.
Ryuji smiled at his father and gave him a bright smile. "Really?!"
Akihiko smiled back. "Really."

Wanted to finish this and post it yesterday but had to go into work 6 hours early, had a dude injure himself in the gym, had to deliver first aid, and by the time I was home I was knackered.
I know next to nothing about engines and mechanics btw so if it isn't too descriptive, let me know what you think of the chap :)
Got like 12 ish chapters possibly more depending on how it goes when I write, till the next major time skip.
As always thanks for reading
