16 chapter 16

Aaron's body tumbled to the ground as if he had just been flicked across the air by the hands of God. His stomach scratched the surface of the black lifeless ground and his legs drew a scathing red line on his knee cap. There was a green puddle laying beside him and there were prickles of bones sticking out from it. Acid. Two more tummy rolls to his right and he would've been justly sizzled.

What was this new world? Had the vent dropped him in some kind of unexplainable purgatory?

Then by routine, the robotic voice of the AI rang out like a master speaking to his puppets. Level twelve.

"What?" Aaron puffed, traipsing away from the acid puddle. He tried his best to contain the uprising panic. If anything, that was the last thing he should be doing.
