"You're crazy, we can't go out there!" Miles cried.

"It's either the game or us. I'm not gonna choose to stay on this level like a piece of meat."

It does something to you, staying at a level for a period of time. You lose part of your sanity, part of your clarity, and part of your identity. Aaron of course had pondered about being this, being an Echo. He had pondered it a lot, and to cling on to that thought clung in that insanity that he so zealously avoided.

"Well, how are you gonna do that? You kinda need weapons to fight through that horde."

"Can't tell me all this time y'all been here you haven't found a few nut and bolts in this house. I'm sure there's something."
