1 Injection

Feng Dachun, who was lying down on the street, looked at her attacker in horror. Fear was clearly written on her eyes.

The attacker then said in a hoarse voice, "Young lasses shouldn't be out in night all alone at empty streets."

Dachun wanted to say something but only blood came out from her mouth. It was because she was bitten on her neck.

The attacker was amused by her effort and thus continued, "If only you had not witnessed this scene, I would have spared you. But you just had to witness this. Anyway you wouldn't survive this ordeal."

The attacker carried the other body which was on the street and at the same time lifted her up and vanished from that spot.

"Ares, I have told you before also that don't hunt living humans. If you really want blood, you can always buy from one of Dionysius's bar."

"Doc, don't be so hard on me. I know that you don't care a bit. If I don't do the dirty work then how will you continue your experiments?" Ares said in a smug tone.

The Doc became irritated just listening to him. Therefore he continued, "Anyway why did you bring back two bodies? Our deal was only one at a time."

Ares shrugged his shoulders while saying, "This lass witnessed me therefore I couldn't leave her alone. But I couldn't finish her because I was full. You can dispose her off once she dies."

"This was not part of our deal. You have to pay me extra because its not that simple to dispose a body."

"Ok I understand. I will pay you later. I always keep my promises."

The Doc just nodded.

"Since matters are over here, I will take my leave. I have other businesses to attend to."

Before the Doc could say anything else, he just left just like how he came.

After he left, the Doc came near the two bodies to examine them. He just did a normal check on the other body because he knew that the body was dead and thus proceeded towards Feng Dachun.

When the Doc came near her, she abruptly opened her eyes. Fear was still written on her eyes. All this time even though her eyes were closed, she heard the conversation. She was horrified by the contents of it.

The Doc was first startled then he said with a smile, "Even on your death bed you still know how to give surprises. Not bad. Not bad."

"Save me... " Dachun tried her best to mutter those two words. But at the next moment blood spewed out from her mouth again.

When the Doc heard her voice, he was genuinely amused. He said in a mocking tone, " Sorry my dear, but it is almost impossible to save you. Even if I have the ability to save you, why should I save you?"

"Plea….." Dachun tried her best to utter one more word but before she could complete it she puked more blood.

The Doc saw her pleading eyes and was moved because he saw her holding her last straw towards life even though she knew she was going die and hoping for some miracle.

The Doc then decided to save her life even though the chance of success was less then one percent. This was a sign that the Doc became emotional and couldn't think straight.

The Doc moved fast because there was not much time and she could die any moment. He strapped her on a chair, not allowing any movements of the already dying Dachun. Then he moved towards the secret locker and entered the passcode. A syringe came to view after the safe was unlocked.

The Doc quickly took that syringe and proceeded towards her.

"Here it goes." The Doc muttered before injected the solution inside the syringe into her neck. A red looking solution from the syringe entered her body. When the whole solution entered her body, she jolted and was shaking violently.

"This will continue for some time. Now it all depends on you whether you will live or die. Pray to your God because this will be the last time he will ever be able to help you. If you die, you can't pray and if you live, well God will abandon you. Good Luck young girl." The Doc muttered in her ears after the injection was over.

Then he took a chair and sat opposite facing the girl.

When the solution entered her body, it felt like her organs were being stomped by a massive force.

Dachun was in no condition to hear what the Doc said. Before it was only bad and she wanted to live somehow. But now it felt worst and she thought that dying like this is more painful then before.She thought that the Doc tricked her and wanted to see her die in the most painful way. She wished to turn back time and not ask the Doc any favor and die in a less painful way.

Actually what was happening was that the solution was spreading like a cancer and was trying to link with every blood cells in her body. Thats when her immune system kicked in trying to reject the solution because the immune system was protecting the body from any viruses and the solution was such a virus according to it. Due to this her body was shaking violently which caused immense pain in her body.

This solution had a fatal flaw. For the solution to succeed it needed to link with every blood cell in the body. But the problem was that before it could link with every blood cell the person dies. Therefore it never succeeds.

But since Dachun was already bitten by Ares before, it proceeded at a faster rate. This happened because the solution main ingredient was still a main lineage vampire's blood who can make others into a vampire.

Dachun stopped shaking after twenty minutes. It meant that it was over.

While Dachun was shaking, the Doc calmed down from his emotional state after fifteen minutes.

"Sh*t, I became emotional again and couldn't think straight. Why did I waste my precious solution on this girl which was given by my teacher. It was the last solution and I didn't even take a sample of it. What have I done?" The Doc shouted the words out. But the outburst didn't affect Dachun a single bit.

Then the Doc slumped into the chair and watched the girl listlessly. He knew what his teacher was not able to achieve, how could he achieve without any prior preparations.

After five minutes, he saw that the girl stopped shaking. He knew that he failed and wasted the product.

He proceeded towards the girl and opened all the straps which were tying her. But when he wanted to move her from the chair, he noticed that the girl opened her eyes and was staring right at him.
