Return

Autumn leaves fall to the grassy floor,

floating down without a care.

Winter comes for a new tour,

bringing with a white glare.

Animals retreat to hibernate,

to stay safe for one more year.

Hunters out to find trophy's to curate.

Ears perked listening for what's near.

Sighted and ready to fire,

shot only to miss.

Flee now that it is dire,

free to now live in bliss.
