Max keep running the entire evening and now the sun already went away and full moon dominated the whole sky. since he asked for the whole Niklaus package he doesn't have to worry about shifts. he has his werewolf side completely under the control. as for vampire side, except constant hunger, there wasn't much of an alarm.

The difference between him and Niklaus is that, If Max were to fight with Niklaus, without a doubt Max will lose in a matter of seconds.

Hybrid, Vampire or Werewolf, their power comes with age. older they get more power they show. supernatural can train their powers in different means, but effects will be minimal. the supernatural forces are very mysterious. this is a one of a downside in supernatural immortality. early stage risk being dead is much higher.

This doesn't mean Max is weak against someone like Peter or Derek. however, if he encountered a Desert wolf or Talia Hale (Derek's mother, most powerful Alpha) only running away can save him.

Max did a bit of investigation upon Mind Compulsion. he can clearly use it on others influencing their minds. but he doesn't understand how the power works. mental power? spiritual power? Max had no idea. however, He remembered Niklaus using Mind Compulsion while he is in the body of Alaric. so it might be tied with Spiritual Essence.

For now, Max cannot use Mind Compulsion just by eye contacts. he must use both words and eye contacts at the same time.

While he was thinking about all this, a bright light came from his back. he didn't think twice before signalling it asking for a ride. if he kept walking hunger will be uncontrollable. that won't be a pretty sight to see. he might drink dry next person he meets.

The vehicle stopped a few meters away from the place Max was. he quickly made way toward the vehicle and stood near the window.

When Max saw the person inside his face twitched. he never thought his luck would be this twisted.

It was Alison and her mother who moving toward Beacon Hills.

"Hi, ma'am can you drop me off nearest filling station?" smiling the great Original Hybrid questioned, one of the ruthless hunters in Argent family. (AN: Alison mother while Kate is just Crazy)

"You looks young, What happened? did your car break down? What is your name?" Victoria Argent asked frowning. she always wary of her surrounding, after all, she didn't see any broke down vehicle on their way.

Alison wanted to say something to her mother but ultimately gave up. even if this handsome boy seems to be 15 or 16 years old, same as her, he was a complete stranger. there was no need to argue with her mother for a stranger.

"My name is Max and No ma'am, I'm going to Beacon Hills to meet my relatives" Max lied. if this was a normal time he already used Mind Compulsion. however, he tried several times and failed.

He finally concluded Mind Compulsion cannot be used on Hunters.

"Oh! who might that be?"

"Mom...?!"

Finally, Alison made an objection. she wouldn't mind harmless questioning, but her mother's questions made Alison unbearable.

"What?.....fine, fine" seeing Alison's disapproving face Victoria gave up "You can come with us," however she didn't let her guard down.

Max smiled at her and gave a thankful look to Alison. then he sat down on the back seat. he was sweating bullets because of Victoria Argent's interrogation.

'Good thing Alison has a soft heart' he secretly sighs a relief. Hunters sure are fearful.

For the next 30 minutes, no one spoke. there was an awkward silence dominated between three of them.

Time to time Alison glances at Max that went unnoticed by Victoria. Max, on the other hand, notice her but decide to ignore it for safety sake. not that he feard Hunters, however, he feared if by some mishap killing hunter would cause him to suffer from hunter curse. besides, he liked Lydia more than Alison.

"So Max who is your relative in Beacon Hills?" Victoria asked.

Max really wanted to avoid this kind of questions however it seems this woman is adamant about knowing full details. which really annoyed Max.

"His name is Bobby Finstock, he teaches economic and Lacrosse"

"Humm....oh! I remember him, I thought he is an orphan"

Max's confident tone made Victoria lower her guard a bit. but still didn't trust him 100%. this suspicion attitude has to do something with Argent family moving back to Beacon Hills.

A few days ago, they receive news regarding the animal attack in Beacon Hills. after seeing images of those scenes they immediately figure out what's happening. so the whole family packed their stuff and came to their former territory.

"Haha, No, he has a sister, that's my mother" Max answered shortly. he clearly didn't want to talk this matter anymore.

Victoria understood and felt a bit dissatisfied. she clearly didn't like Max's attitudes. despite not liking him she didn't voice out it since they reached the beacon hills.

Alex also noticed this, he said to Alison "Miss you can drop me off here"

"Sure" Alison nodded and stop the vehicle on the side of the road.

"Why here? Beacon Hills is few miles away" Victoria said after Max get off.

"Thank you but I have some business with a Sheriff Department"

Max need to make identity and put personal data into the system. so he intends to use Mind Compulsion on Sheriff Stilinski. besides, in a few miles, Alison and her mother will meet Bitten Scott. he didn't want to be smelled by angry Peter, not just yet at least. another thing is, he was feeling extremely hungry. if he stays with them things might go sideways.

"Suit your self then," Victoria said "Let's go, Alison,"

"Thank You, Ma'am," to which Alison and Victoria nodded and drove away.

"Wow, she gave me real pressure" Max smile looking at a speeding car "Now let's go to work"

After the vehicle was long gone, Max slowly approached the sheriff department. beside using Mind Compulsion on Sheriff he was going to buy a house for free and meet his 'uncle' before going school in a few days.
