Decision

Ever since Corinne, the Desert Wolf revealed crucial details about the supernatural world and Vampires, Max couldn't stop thinking about it. He had many unanswered questions, like, how the Vampires came to be? Why did the war start? Why did Werewolves stay neutral? At this point, Max really wished to meet the God who sent him here.

Max stayed the whole night tossing around the bed. He didn't sleep for a single second. However, contemplating a long time Max decided to walk toward staying out from the radars of Vampire Hunters.

"If I could just stay away from them for hundred years everything can be solved. It just too much of work if they came after me"

He didn't fear Hunters, but everyone liked to live a carefree worry-free life. Max wasn't any different from any other normal humans. He may be an immortal, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have dreams.

Start a family, which he never had before, maybe, just maybe marry two girls and have a bunch of cute daughters. become super rich and Living eternally just come as a bonus.

If the Hunters came knocking his door, those sweet dreams will shatter like a piece of glass.

Finally thinking for hours, by the morning sunray peek into his room, Max made a choice,

"Just like I thought, I can't kill Ron, more so, I should help him to deal with Vampire Hunters"

Max had a feeling he and Ron are like Niklaus and Marcel. In many occasions, Niklaus wanted to kill Marcel. Yet every single time, something forces them to forget their differences and work together.

This time Max had to forget his differences with Ron and make peace to face a common enemy. Naturally, Ron must be the one to take the heat.

While Max was away from Beacon Hills, Lydia tagged alone with Allison and arrive at school. Allison told Lydia, after that day her family forbid her from seeing Scott. Argent family is hunting Werewolves for centuries. They didn't want werewolf as there next inheritor.

Of course, Lydia knew about Scott and Allison's secret little meetings. She and Stiles help them to communicate without noticing anyone.

Few minutes flew by after they sat down in the class, suddenly, an announcement rang out.

"Lydia Martin, please report to the principle's office. I repeat Lydia Martin, please report to the principle's office"

For the first time in her life, Lydia was called a place she never gone before.

Well…the announcement was her first too.

Shrugging her shoulders toward confused Allison, Lydia left the class, heading toward principle's office.

Too bad she missed the new teacher. Which came as a huge shock toward Allison.

Arriving in front of the office, Lydia knocked on the door.

"Come on in"

An unfamiliar elderly voice immediately responded. Lydia didn't care about the person, she just wanted to know why was she called here.

Without further ado, she twisted the doorknob

When she entered, there was an elderly man with a bald head smiled at her. He seemed in his mid-sixties, Lydia couldn't tell, but he looked rather fit for his old age.

"Lydia Marin, aren't you wonderful. Looks like my granddaughter was right." Seeing Lydia coming in, elder smiled friendly.

"You must be confused, please take a seat, I'm, the new principle. My name is Gerard Argent, you can call me Gerard"

Lydia's eyes shoot up, so he was the one Max talked about "Why did you call me here?"

Gerard kept his 'friendly' smile and opened a file "I was just checking about students and notice your profile. I have to say I'm impressed. You are an academic genius, although there is no extracurricular you are one of the brightest students we have here."

"What is your point?" Lydia asked calmly trying to hide her restless eyes. This person starting to creep her out, there was something dark about him she couldn't stand.

Suddenly, that feeling grew stronger, everything around her quite down. Every single sound erased from her audible range. Only a tickling sound of the clock remained.

With every tik, Lydia heard wipers of unknown. It saying something about someone dying, soon. Suddenly a wind flew past, drawing her attention toward Gerard. His mouth moving nonstop but Lydia couldn't hear him.

She was confused,

Suddenly everything became clear, an understanding light came to her face,

it was him,

Gerard the one going to die.

As soon as Lydia comprehend the message behind whispers it stopped.

As if nothing happened.

"...So Lydia, Where is your boyfriend? Mr Winchester?"

Only the last bit of Gerard's word reached her. Unconsciously she gave him a strange look "He went out of town for a few days, he won't be attending school for some time"

"Is that so?! I really want to meet him. Alright, you can go now"

"Thank you"

Although Gerard's reasons are unclear, soon as Gerard gave permission, Lydia stood up and walk toward the door. She wished nothing more than to get away from this creepy dying old man.

"Looks like I have to use the other one to achieve my goal" Gerard frowned looking at Lydia's back. His friendly face vanished replacing a cunning and cruel face.

When Lydia open the door, the sheriff was standing there, ready to knock on the door. she nodded him and quietly stroll toward the classroom. Because of the distraction caused by Sheriff, Lydia missed the low muttering of Gerard. Maybe with her newly heightened senses, she might have heard it, if not for Stiles's father being there, distracting her, some more.

"Sheriff Stilinski, come, on in, I was expecting you," Gerard invited Sheriff inside with a same friendly smile.
