18 Luna Anubis

After the test had ended. Anna, Aya, Ava and Alex who shared the same section where their rooms where located found the pink haired girl they met the first time they arrived leaning on the wall close to the door, she was wearing a sweat pant with black slippers and a white shirt, she looked real stunning in casual wear.

She beamed when she saw them coming walking towards her.

"Hey, You guys wanna see something cool."

She shouted out when she saw them, Anna and the girls closed their eyes instinctively after hearing her shout.

"No thank you, I think I speak for everyone when I say we're tired."

Anna said politely to her then looked at everyone behind her at which point they nodded.

"Oh come on, it's gonna be fun." Luna told them again with a big smile on her face while grabbing Anna's hands.

"Really."

Ava and Aya said at the same time.

Anna shrugged and Alex continued looking straight ahead, past Luna and into her room where a comfortable bed waited with silence for her to lay on it and drift away to the island of dreams.

"Oh sorry am Luna Anubis."

Anna looked at her with a surprised expression on her face.

"You last name is Anubis." Anna asked.

"Yep."

"Anna."

"Ava."

"Aya."

"Alex."

They told her their names while Anna was still thinking of Luna's last name.

Luna had a thoughtful expression on her face, she looked at them and said.

"Have you guys realized that all your names start with an A."

"Yeah I guess." Anna replied to her question.

"You know there's an A in your last name to right, what a coincidence."

Luna mumbled something unintelligible under her breath which no one should have heard, But Anna heard everything she said which was. 'Shouldn't have said that name.'

Anna didn't continue asking as she didn't want to push her to tell her something she obviously didn't want to say. She'd get her answers later.

"Let's go see this fun place you were talking about." Anna said.

"But I thought you said you were tired."

Ava and Aya said at the same time.

"True, but who can say no to fun."

Anna turned to Alex.

"Are you coming."

Alex gave the room a longing look before she turned around and said to them.

"Sure, let's go see what this fun might be."

Luna led them to a room that wasn't displayed on the map, they thought of asking but they chose to wait knowing she'd explain to them why the room was not on the map of the HQ, Luna turned around before opening the door with her band.

"You guys aren't yet qualified to be here, that's why it's not been displayed on your maps, this room is for Starchasers and you guys are pretty far away from that."

After hearing what Luna said, Anna was a bit surprised when she heard Luna say this room is for Starchasers which means that Luna must be a Starchasers, if she wasn't she wouldn't be able to access this room, then Ava raised her hand and said.

"Ermm, what are Starchasers?."

Luna and Anna looked at her in surprise, They were both wondering how she didn't know what a Starchaser was.

"It's not just her, even I don't know what Starchasers are."Alex said without pause.

"Me too." Aya said.

Luna looked at Anna.

"Don't look at me, I know what a Starchaser is."

Luna slightly stuck out her tongue at Anna and turned to the rest of them and said.

"You'll know when the Academy opens."

She walked into the room and gestured for them to follow her.

When Anna, Ava, Aya and Alex walked into the room, they were stunned by the sight of what was inside the room, it was like another world, It literally was like another world because the room had a large expanse of space paved with Lunite (A type of rock found on the planet LUNOS, it's a type of magnetar, one of the most magnetic objects in the universe of NYCTOS.) They were surprised to see such a large quantity of it, even though Lunite wasn't a rare material like Ytterbium, it was still pretty overbearing to use it to floor a room and the room was as big as 4,114km^2 of space, the room even had two moons in it.

Luna walked up to the front of them raised her arms to the air and screamed.

"Welcome to the Track."

They looked at her with bated breath.

"How is the room this big, this is almost half the size of the HQ."Alex said.

"Well it's like your spatial storage putting a huge amount of space in a tiny box or a tiny room, but the technology gets complicated the bigger the size gets." Luna said while still beaming with a smile.

She looked at them and asked.

"What's your favorite car."

They were a bit stumped, They thought to their selves 'why is she asking for our favorite car now.'

"Oh come on tell me, I wanna show you something else that will blow your mind."

"Koenigsegg Agerra R." Ava said.

"Same."Aya said.

"Am not taking a car, and I guess I can see where this is heading, I'm taking the hover bike." Alex said.

Anna put her chin on her hand and seemed to be in deep thought.

"I'll just take a dodge charger."

Luna gestured with her arm and a lot of cars, hover cars, hover bikes and loads of other vehicles including mini spaceships appeared and were hung vertically on a projection of a parking lot.

Anna and the other girls faces showed varying expressions of surprise, curiousity and yearning.

Luna raised her hands and gestured to the myriad of vehicles that were been displayed, she looked at each of their faces with a smile and said with an embarrassed expression.

"I don't know some of those vehicles you guys mentioned, so I brought this out so you guys can pick the ones you like."

They looked at her and they nodded.

They started swiping on the air causing the projections which spanned half the length of the room where they were.

Ava and Ana choose a modified Koenigsegg Agera R. when they selected the car, it materialised out of the air close to them.

Alex choose a hover bike supreme, the type that has an extra engine and thrusters to give it an extra edge when maneuvering.

Anna choose a modified 2020 Dodge Charger with electric traction(The tires generate electricity to stick to the ground)

All the vehicles they chose were Mostly modified versions of the original and they all used electric batteries that had strains of T-Crystals (Contain energy comparable to an atom bomb) in them.

When Luna choose her vehicle, they all looked at her with expressions of 'what the what is that.' The vehicle Luna had chosen was a hover car, it was like a bentley but it had two seats, turbo boosters at the rear that could be merged to form one large booster, The sides of the car were moving fluidly like it was water.

"It's liquid metal." Luna told them after seeing their expressions.

"Wow, did you modify that yourself." Anna asked with a glitter in her eye.

"Sadly no, The mechanic did."

"The mechanic?" Anna asked.

"Yeah, he's a tangent, Just wait until everyone gets back then you'll see how much fun we'll have." Luna said with a smile.

"Oh one more thing, there are addendums that can be put on your cars."

Luna said with a finger on her chin

They nodded and then Luna fiddled with her wristband and a three more cars with robots in them appeared.

"Okay, now we're ready, let's do this."

In a certain room in the HQ. A shadow was seen fiddling with a band. The shadow opened the schematics of the band and started making some changes to the band, after changing the settings to what it liked, it dropped the band on the table and disappeared like it was never there. After a few minutes another person entered the room and picked up the band, he brought it close to his and the band merged into his dissolving like metal in a hot pot.

The person smiled and left the room.

We had a breach in the lower levels close to the training room.

"What breach, the shields are up and there's no space junk out there either." Miss Everdine said to one of the HQ operators.

The operator turned to her with fear written all over his face, he knew he had to satiate the anger of this woman before him before she squeezed him to death like an ant.

"M...iss... Everdine, the system check came back a negative, so it may be attributed to a glitch in the system." He said to her without pause.

"That's all the more reason to scan every nook and cranny of the HQ, Glitches don't just happen like that, I built the damn system, I know what would cause a glitch and what will not."

Miss Everdine paused before continuing.

"There may be an intruder on this ship, Tell the Tencnos to scan the ship.."

"Yes Ma'am." the operator said.

"I think you're cheating."

Jake said to Sam who had a calm expression on his face, he was focused on the game on the table in between them. They were playing a chess game. And Sam had been winning ever since.

"Okay let's go again." Jake said.
