15 Confrontation

"You'll be using the stun feature of your weapons, we don't want you kids to accidentally hurt each other, Don't get me wrong, having those volts of electricity coursing through you is gonna sting." Miss Everdine said to the students.

She led them to a large open room in the HQ, it was the simulation room, it could simulate everything from the explosion of star to the minute atoms that aid in the explosion of a star.

When they got to the room, they saw upper and lower body armor and weapons, there were electric swords, electric daggers, Electric maces, Guns that shoot electrified bullets that disperse on impact but are still enough to knock a grown man out. For this exercise, Miss Everdine reduce the output of electricity of each weapon to prevent them from been knocked out for too long.

Eto choose an assault rifle and a dagger, Anna picked up two daggers, a katana and a handgun, Aya and Ava picked up a katana and a handgun, Karl picked up a great axe and a handgun, Sam picked up a bo-staff and a dagger, Alex picked up an assault rifle assault, a handgun and a dagger, Jake picked up a shotgun and a handgun.

They all picked up armor, the arm guards had a forcefield which would come up if they were shot at, but the durability of the forcefield reduces with every shot until it breaks.

"Split into two teams."

Anna, Aya, Ava and Alex belonged to one team then Eto, Sam, Jake and Karl belonged to one other team, Miss Everdine furrowed her brows when she saw this.

"Pick your team members again, it's strange that there just happen to be four boys and four girls but this isn't boys vs girls."

She looked at them, then pointed at Anna.

"You with the blue hair, you're team blue."

She pointed at Karl.

"You're team Red."

Anna looked at them and pointed at sam, Alex and Ava.

Karl picked Eto, Aya and jake.

The simulation room then changed into a city with dilapidated and broken buildings, the two teams were dropped in different areas of the city.

Miss Everdine appeared in the observation room right above the simulation room, she moved so fast they didn't realize it until she spoke in their heads.

"For this exercise you can use your powers, but restrain yourselves and don't go crazy."

Karl smiled, He could finally show this people who hadn't acknowledged him how strong he is.

Karl's team was situated at the ninth floor of a tall building that overlooked half of the city, Their flag was right in the middle of them, it was a Red flag. Anna's team was also on another tall building but theirs had eight floors, Their flag was in front of them, theirs was a blue flag.

"BEGIN."

"Okay, demonstration, what powers do you guys have."

"I have increased acceleration." Anna said to them.

"I can fly." Ava said and crystal like wings appeared on her back.

"I can create force fields." Alex said and demonstrated by creating a force field armor all over her body.

"I can control fire." Sam said and his body caught fire, then he moved the fire to his hand hand and he made it into a ball.

"How many people can you carry when flying."

Anna asked Ava.

"Two people."

'Good our mobility just increased.' Anna thought. She turned to Sam and Ava.

"Sam and Ava what powers do your friend and sister have."

Ava looked at her and said."She can copy the powers of other people but only three at a time."

"Karl has super strength and he can also shoot lasers out of his eyes."

"Sam, you'll take the right, Ava will take center and I'll take the left, If you find them, don't engage, contact us and wait, we'll converge and attack after plans are made."

They nodded and started moving, Sam on the right and Ava on the left.

She turned to Alex.

"Alex am gonna ask you to stay back and defend with your force field, if you see anyone of them, you call from backup."

Alex nodded.

Anna quickly gave out and they all moved out with Alex creating a force field that covered her and the flag, she stood watching them as they went.

Meanwhile on the other side of the City, Karl's group made plans of their own.

"Eto and Jake, You guys are gonna go left and right, I and Aya are gonna stay and defend, we'll keep a lookout for anyone who wants to attack."

Karl told them.

Eto looked at him and said.

"I don't know if that's a good idea, knowing my sister, they won't make a head on attack, they'll try to take us out one by one."

Karl looked at Eto and said.

"I have super strength and I can shoot lasers from my eyes." Karl said while grinning.

"I can control can copy powers but only three at a time."Aya said.

They looked at her like they had seen a beast.

"I can make my skin as strong as diamond." Jake said while scratching his head.

"I can teleport and I have great reflexes."

"Now that we know, tell us what your friend and sister can do."

"Sam can control fire."

"And my sister can fly." Aya said.

"Well my sister has increased acceleration." Eto told them.

"So the only person's power that's unknown is Alex." Jake said while thinking.

"We'll just have to cross that bridge when we reach it." Karl said with a serious expression.

Eto slapped his knee and said.

"I have a plan, I'll activate my teleportation, and Aya will copy it, then she'll be the one to scout out the surroundings for us, If she runs into danger she'll just teleport back here."

Karl put his hand on his chin and thought.

' That doesn't sound half bad.'

Eto looked at Aya. "Is that okay with you Aya, You just need to think of where you want to be and you'll appear there."

Aya nodded.

"Okay let's go with Eto's plan, Aya will scout out and we'll defend, when you find it, you teleport back and we'll attack them and take their flag."

Eto activated his powers and his eyes turned black with black opaque smoke coming out of them including on every part of his body, he looked like a wraith. He teleported behind Jake without a sound and Jake took a step back when he saw Eto's face. He deactivated it and everything went back to normal.

"Did you see it." Eto asked Aya.

She nodded and did the same, But when she activated hers, the smoke was white instead, then she deactivated it and started running towards the center looking for the enemy flag.

Eto and the others kept guard and protected the flag. Aya ran center for a while before she met Anna waiting for her at a crossroad with dilapidated vehicles littered all around them.

"I've been waiting for you, took you long enough." Anna said to Aya softly.

Aya scrunched her brows together, she tried to contact her team members, but realized that the signal was blocked.

"Don't bother, the signal is blocked, you can either run away or fight me." Anna said to Aya.

"Can't we just act like we didn't see each other and continue searching for the flags."

Anna giggled and said.

"Come on, this will be fun, I heard you could copy powers, I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours."

Anna activated her powers and moved so fast she was standing close to Aya's face with their noses almost touching, Aya's eyes widened and she stepped back subconsciously when she saw Anna smiling and standing so close to her.

'That wasn't even up to as second, she's so fast.' Aya thought to herself while screaming in her mind causing her bad luck.

Anna moved back in an instant.

"Did you get it."

Aya nodded her head, To tell the truth she almost didn't get it, You can't copy what you can't see.

Aya brought out her katana and held it with both hands, Anna held her katana in one hand, they moved in an instant and exchanged a dozen moves in a second, they were so fast that the only thing that could be seen was the flash from their weapons hitting each other.

when they disengaged, A strand of Aya's hair fell on the ground, while Anna smirked and continued with the attack, Aya blocked some of the attacks but some also got through, and the electricity started affecting movement, the electricity coursing through her was getting to much for her, it stung and her movements started getting sluggish, Anna increased her speed and found an opening when Aya dropped her tried to dodge another attack, she swung her sword upwards on Aya armor, Aya tried to block with the force field coming from her arm guard, but Anna quickly dropped her katana and caught it with her left hand then she thrust forward and hit Aya's shoulder, Aya flew back and fell on the ground, she was sweating and panting, then she looked at Anna who was standing there unscathed and fainted.

Anna looked at her and said to herself.

"I like her, she's got spunk."

All this happened in less than three minutes.
