13 A True Test

No I didn't just fall in love, what kind of psycho has a fivesome with four amazingly gorgeous elf maidens and then falls for another girl the day after?

I did have to admit that she intrigued me to no end, spending time with her opened up one surprise after another.

I followed her out of the armory and back into the forest.

Once we were back in the sunlight Iniel turned back to me.

"It is nearly impossible to run into dangerous fiends near the village but I know of an area that isn't too far off that may provide us with the opportunity we are looking for" Iniel said

"Do you have any experience fighting fiends?" Iniel followed up with this question that made me doubt myself.

"No actually, I was soon to join the hunt when I was called to this assignment. I have trained for years with a variety of weapons but I've never trained in a specific halberd art."

"That's not too much of an issue, for now just wield it like an axe or a spear and over time you will develop a style that combines these two functions. Your movements will become seamless.

Regarding your lack of combat experience.... There's a first time for everything. I just hope your parents don't care that I'm taking time." Iniel giggled after making this comment and her sense of humor took me by surprise.

I gave a dry laugh but inwardly thought that if such a sexy woman took my first time they would be over the moon. Then again I lost my first time in a whirlwind of day that culminated in an orgy so.....

"Lets do this" I said determinedly after a moment.

Iniel nodded and I followed her through the forest trying to keep as quiet as I could.

Despite all my efforts I was nowhere close to matching the near soundless steps of Iniel. Guess we all have our talents.

"Remember once we get close we won't be able to communicate if we still want the element of surprise. That's if it doesn't catch our scent first anyway." Iniel warned me quietly as we continued to travel through the forest.

It took an hour and a half of careful travel but we finally arrived at an area that gave off a more dangerous vibe than the forest we had been traveling in before. The air seemed colder and sharper.

My muscles tensed subconsciously and a strange excitement started to take over my body. I really wanted to get into a fight no matter what it takes.

At this point Iniel slowed her pace down to a slow stalk and I followed her as we practically crawled through the underbrush of the forest.

For a long while I couldn't discover any signs of life forms but soon I started to hear sounds of rough breathing and shuffling around. Iniel made a stopping motion with her hand I froze immediately, we listened to the noise for a good thirty seconds while we slowly honed in on the beasts location.

Soon she started forward again but this time a slight diagonal path to the one we had been taking previously.

A few meters more and the sound grew louder and a large fiend came into view lumbering slowly through the forest.

It was a large boar like creature except far larger, with lime green eyes and cracks running on the surface of the skin. The fiend's tusks were also far more menacing and sharp than a normal boar's.

I recognized the name of this fiend as a Razortusk Fiend.

I had heard many braves tell stories of how it had a fearsome initial charge and was riled up quite easily, it wasn't the easiest fiend to take down but it also wasn't close to being the toughest.

Iniel waved me forward with her hand, clearly motioning me to make the first move.

It was my first prey after all and I knew that I would have to assume the risk and reward when it came to this hunt. Inwardly I was really excited, this was the first time I would be able to prove myself and my training since I was born into the orc tribe.

I slowly approached the Razortusk, keeping in mind the path that it was following through the forest underbrush. Every fiber of my body was screaming to call forth my halberd at this point but I knew that any unnecessary movement at this point would only serve to alert the fiend.

Even with my care and stealth I couldn't help but make slight rustling noises, though they were completely muffled from the grunting of the Razortusk.

Once I was within striking range I settled down behind a tree and waited until the perfect moment. As soon as the flank was exposed I summoned the halberd to my hands and stabbed quickly into the Razortusks side right behind the shoulder. The spear point of the halberd sunk into the fiend and it gave a squeal of surprise and anger.

Green Ichor gushed from the wound but unfortunately I had miscalculated the stab and the axe portion of the halberd got caught on the hide and my stab did not prove deep enough to instantly drop the fiend.

The Razortusk bucked up and down in pain, trying to dislodge the weapon and stamp me to death under his hooves.

I leaped back with the halberd and made a sweeping motion with it trying to catch one of its legs but its frenzied leaping was too severe and I missed.

I regained my balance after the swing and readied myself, the Razortusk also finally got over its initial frenzy and finally eyed me dangerously. It snorted and ground its hooves angrily at me.

I had lost the element of surprise but I had also managed to land a damaging wound near the fiends heart which would gradually slow it down from bloodloss. Truth be told 1v1 with this fiend was a little bit too much since I was an unevolved level 1 orc but the element of surprise and the superiority of the weapon I wielded were providing me with some advantage.

The Razortusk usually relied on its tough hide but I could tell that it was nothing to my weapons. I needed to restrict its movements or land another attack before I could be absolutely confident of taking it down.

It made a headlong charge straight at me and I dove out of the way before righting myself again and bringing the halberd back up to the ready. I realized at the moment that my reaction and speed were only slightly above the Razortusk in front of me, I made a mental note of my inadequacy.

I rushed forward while it was turning and stabbed the fiend again in the leg, it screamed as its leg became hobbled and I summoned the dagger to my hand leaving the halberd planted in its leg.

My dagger flashed through the air and I made a quick swipe along the underside of its large head and a large amount of blood quickly flooded from the wound.

Unofortunately for me I had completely closed the distance between me and the head of the Razortusk. I had dealt a fatal wound but in its last moments of struggle it waved its head and it gored my shoulder slightly with one of the points of its tusk.

"Aaargh!" I grunted in pain as the tusk speared me but thankfully it wasn't too deep. I pulled myself off its tusk and stabbed once more directly down into his skull and with a final shudder the Razortusk completely collapsed.

The exchange between me and the fiend had only lasted a few moments but it actually drained me of quite a bit of energy. I looked at my shoulder which was losing quite a bit of a blood and so I placed a hand over the wound to help staunch the flow for a moment.

It hurt quite a bit but I had so much adrenaline in my system that I was able to shrug it off. I retrieved my halberd and turned back to where I thought Iniel was still hiding. Instead of the sight of the beautiful elf maid I was met with another Razortusk who had appeared sometime during the fight and was attracted by the sound.

Its eyes fell on the sight of me and the dead fiend behind me and it gave a snort before charging straight for me.

I hissed in pain as I grasped my halberd in both hands and faced the charging creature. This time I was in a real situation because I lacked the element of surprise and I was injured.

The Razortusk was quickly approaching at a fast pace as I prepared to dodge again.

At that moment however a gleaming flash of silver appeared from seemingly out of nowhere.

It was Iniel, she held a vicious looking silver trident in her arms as she stabbed it straight into the Razortusk all the way into its heart.

The fiend dropped immediately without even knowing what had ended its life.

Iniel approached me carefully after dispatching the Razortusk and gave me an approving look.

"For your first battle that was quite impressive, I doubt many could take on a Razortusk with zero experience and easily take it down with only a flesh wound.

But you must always be prepared in case more enemies appear, always think steps ahead."

Iniel instructed me while she pulled certain herbs from her pockets and pressed them into my wound. It stung a little bit but soon after I felt some slight relief from the wound.

"That should stop the bleeding as we head back to the village, once we arrive we can find someone to heal you and you will be right as rain." Iniel said

"Thank you Iniel, I'm glad you brought me out here." I thanked her for providing me with this experience of my first hunt.

She finished pressing my wound and we slowly started making our way back toward the village.

The adrenaline started to wear off and I thought that soon the pain would set in and be the only thing to accompany on the trip back but interestingly enough that wasn't the case.

Even without the adrenaline something in my blood was running hot. The kill excited me.

This was a legacy that all orcs possessed. A battle fever that made our race especially suited for battle.

Of course that fever wasn't just reserved exclusively for battle. As I followed Iniel through the forest my eyes were once again attracted to her hot figure. My body wanted to press her down beneath me and enjoy her body.

I had to make an active effort to supress the feeling, after all I was pretty sure that she could easily kill me.

The libido of the orcs was a scary thing though. I was aching to get back to the village and find one of my lovers.... or perhaps all of them.
