28 It Was Supposed To be Smooth and Glorious

Underground Sewer - ???

"Jeez! I blame you on this, Luge Kira!"

"What? Is it worth fun to race while throbbing your heart like being chased by a stalker?"

"Stalker? You really were one of them awhile ago."

Mirai Shizuku, Veronica, and Luge Kira were running away from the incoming spread of explosions while yelling to release their panicking stress as their treatment was worth trying. The explosion moments ago caused the rapid vibration throughout the sewer. Quaking noises bothered them to challenge their luck. The gateway to afterlife might chase nearer to one or every three of them. Their struggle in meeting their fate was inevitable unless they passed through obstacles; even a chunk of rock could block their path to escape, although it would be impossible to cross in a compact convenience.

The rain of rocks bothered them to struggle against their way of escaping. Even pieces or chunks could smack them with an instant pain. The sewer was crumbling from the devastation from the certain site of placements. It never ended until when it might be over with.

All of them placed their hands on top of their head to provide themselves with protection; even the pain on their hands was better than the pain on their head. They rushed to find for any exit, but it was hard to spot since the blocked paths were everywhere they stumbled on. Their hurried faces showed how they struggled to search and seek for any help; except Luge whistled around to wait for his luck from them.

Until the quake stopped, it went back to normal.

Mirai saw Luge's face to express nothing from bother. With her boiling head of doubt, she glared at him and clenched her fist to prepare for the strike. She approached him with her gritting teeth to compose her vexed strength. Until she reached his distance, she threw her fist and smacked at his confident smile to ruin his face. She grabbed his collar to put her triggered rage in front of his now-bloody face. He felt the expected pain to rage over himself and appreciated his feeling of being alive.

"WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING WHISTLING AT, YOU DEGENERATE?!! YOU JUST CAUSED THIS MESS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!"

Meanwhile, Veronica heard her immense bellow, witnessed them in an intensive scenario.

"Mirai! Let him go. Blaming him isn't worth trying to solve for our stake."

"Shut up, you fucking elf slut!! I want to know the answer from this degenerate fool!!"

"It's okay, Veronica. Leave it to me."

Luge stopped Veronica's worry.

Veronica concerned what would happen amid quarrel between Mirai and Luge. Although Luge had nothing to show his exasperated face, Mirai urged throwing for another round, but she instead controlled her desire to finish him without hesitating to leave him out.

She released her grip from his collar to relinquish her mood.

Luge washed his nosebleed away from his shameful face.

Mirai said with her low, deep voice, "I may be pissed at you for being such an asshole to ignore what situation brings us nowhere to live… but if you know something else, you could've told us anything if you have any clue to where we are supposed to get out of here!"

Luge replied, "You know what, I have no clue either, but I can tell now that we are totally safe to live… if you dare not to cross between my curse. My fortune would bless us to thank your living flesh and soul… however, there will be a price to pass through instances."

"Instances? What do you mean? Is there anything to buy us out?"

"The outcome is on you, but don't you dare to ignore it before it will kill you. In other words, don't push yourself."

Mirai doubted his suggestion, although he told her seriously without a single sign of lie on his face. She could pass the time before it would worsen her being. She could do anything to ensure altogether, but his serious-looking face told her otherwise. She believed a bit of his words, although she felt puzzled, which she couldn't consider his clue to be friend-welcoming.

Mirai backpedalled away for a dozen meters and said, "Maybe you're weird for me to say… but I don't like crossing your line to meet and share our ends."

Luge did the same as Mirai and responded, "Don't worry, we'll pass to–"

However, something drew him out.

They heard the cracking sound above — the ceiling with crazy, segmented edges. It was literally crack with possible fall.

"Luge!!"

He smirked, knowing that there would be something to pray for.

Thus, the hunks of broken ceiling fell down with a thudding sound that caused Mirai and Veronica to leave Luge apart. They felt surprised by his farewell, although Veronica believed it would be temporary.

"Veronica, what are we going to do?! He's on the other side!!"

"It's no use. The huge chunk is solid and impossible to pass through this blockage."

It left two of them while the one stood on the other side. The massive solid mess in front of their eyes indicated their endangered state. There were no single, convenient spaces to pass or crawl through a small point of entry, showing that the small chunks compacted to each other. Although Veronica didn't want to mess Mirai roughly, they walked away to find another exit.

Meanwhile, thanks to his backpedalling, he was lucky to arrange himself in a safe direction.

"I guess… another time, eh?" he mumbled with his exasperated sigh.

Thus, he trailed in another direction, seeking for the different exit independently.

Mirai and Veronica moved their careful eyes with their strolling feet. They didn't have any clue where they could get out of the chaotic, damaged underground surface. With the mess of broken chunks and pipes, they felt guilty if it would cost a huge charge to fix the sewage in a proper state.

Small thudding sounds for a bit of a moment bothered them. The warm breeze was silent, which the air couldn't pass through a clear tour.

Mirai complained, "Even a dozen of meters doesn't have a single exit. The gateway to this place seemed hardly impossible to spot. What kind of floor design is this?"

"Hard to tell, we are in a game of maze."

"Maybe that Luge bastard set us up to play along with us. I'm starting to give away his trust from him."

"I know what you feel, but hardly–"

Suddenly, something made Veronica pause her voice. She heard the mild growling sound. Her eyes awakened with shock. She gasped, seeing something that perturbed her the most. Mirai hadn't noticed her reason yet; she kept observing her shocking face and eyes, rolling from top to bottom.

When directing where Veronica witnessed, Mirai saw a massive bloated, crimson-swollen monster with countless large, slender, lengthy whip-like limbs that had protruded spots beneath. It was the shape of the tentacle which could reach about a length of thirty meters with an enormous round, sloppy body that almost touched the ceiling, even the head with black teary orb. It could barely reach about, almost in the touch of the solid ceiling. It was familiar with the one they encountered with except it looked worse. It was the gigantic octopus, residing in an unknown ground.

"What… in… the… hell… am… I… seeing… this?" Mirai muttered while backpedalling away from the monster.

Mirai felt frightened as the energetic fragrance wafted and aroused them to tremble in their body with an unnoticeable effect. The effect disrupted them to minimal strength.

However, Mirai chose not to submit with her loose control as she forced herself to compose with gaining her self-conscious being. Veronica knelt herself down to try regaining her composure. She got her face blushed red while panting to respire her hot breath.

Meanwhile, Mirai stood in front of the monster with a strong, stung scent.

"I–I–I won't dare myself to surrender over your scary fuckhole"

Mirai flashed her curved blade called Kibo no Kane right into her right grip. She held in front of her concentrating eyes and aimed toward the tentacle monster. She needed to slay through before the first strike would prove her wrong. She prowled around to focus her movements.

Until the turn decided, the monster felt reaction as it drew the first attack with a single tentacle — toward weakened Veronica and Mirai, dodging every strike to avoid being shackled.

"Veronica!"

The tentacle wrapped around Veronica's bare body until it reached the limit to secure and lift her. It dampened her body with a strange liquid that applied her skin into oily-looking and stimulated more into her tingling nerves. When lifting, it changed the position through wrapping around arms and legs while exposing her vagina vulnerably.

Starting the things up, two sloppy ropes reached to her cunt and mouth. They penetrated into their holes with the liquid that would surrender Veronica. At last, they continuously rammed with vigorous force, making Veronica to groan wildly.

Meanwhile, Mirai analyzed the position while focusing to avoid hitting Veronica. She made sense that the monster had vital weakness, so she glued her eye to the head, predicting that it was the sole, obvious core for every living being to compose.

Mirai chanted her ideal form into her inner voice, "(Form: Align to my blade // Degree: hot // Matter: plasma // Motion: Sling force // Code: SBLP_M)"

With that, her blade produced the energy into an ideal form. It enhanced around the blade with a glowing, reformed factor. Finally finished, she rushed with immense acceleration toward the monster and advanced her strike with one blow to be expected.

"Here it goes!!"

Upon striking through the core, Mirai decapitated the head from top till the bottom, slicing into half segment. The monster wailed with high, screeching echo to pierce the ears around the area even near. It could reach about dozens of square meters even though it could pass through thick walls. Strong, stinging scent spread throughout where the monster resided. It was blooming like a carnation blew the fragrance to please one's nose. It was the pinkish smoke, breezing around the area of their reach.

She tried to cover her ears even in a falling state., but unfortunately… it was too late to reach on time. She smelled the scent which could paralyze someone once an immense blow wafted into the noses. It fatigued her to fall into a sleeping beauty who ate the witch's apple. She fell down to the ground as if the extreme scent impelled her to go out like a light and hit the hay.

It was her inadvertent mistake. She realized the dream awaited her to welcome.

Same went to Veronica — who got painted inside her honeypot.
