8 EIGHT: Becoming A Hero

Messy, that's all I can say.

After arriving back to City Z after getting lost countless times, I suddenly found the front of my apartment building full of familiar monsters.

There was also Genos fighting that Armored Gorilla and beating it.

"Huh?"

I wasn't really paying attention to it because of the dust that covering that place but now that the dust is slowly banishing, my eyes widened.

It was Rhena with her body broken into peices, her blood splashed all over that wall.

I immediately dash towards her ignoring my environment.

"Shit, this is bad."

After her killing spree yesterday, almost all living things in this part of the city was wiped out. Now, because of it, my idea of controlling her mosquitos to heal her up again using blood won't work.

When I was thinking about the possible solutions, I suddenly had a great Idea on my brain.

"Why didn't I think of this before."

I carefully lay Rhena body on the wall and stood up.

Seconds later, after copying Rhena abilty, I suddenly felt countless connection entering inside my head. It didn't hurt or anything, I just know that I can freely control these guys at my will.

"Seriously, you guys, what did even Rhena do to you?"

My tense hundred percent of my whole body, ready to destroy these guys with one hit.

"Oh, this kitty is scared."

Saitama mocked while pointing at Beast King with smirk.

This guy. . . .

Well, not that I could disagree with him. It was really funny, how the Beast King which was really fearless in the anime was cowering and acting scared.

"Please, don't kill me."

Beast King muttered while trembling.

Heh. As much as I wanted to make this kitty my pet, I still need to save Rhena with his blood.

Without saying a word, I dash towards Beast King and grabbed his furry thick hair. I then dash towards the another area to not damage any building close to my apartment.

Baam.

I throw Beast King to the air and punch his torso so hard that he explode.

Bzzzzzz-!

Suddenly, thousands of mosquitos under my command swarm the Beast King.

A few seconds later, they left the Beast king body without a single drop of blood. The formerly menacing Beast was now dead more than the dead.

"Go."

I command and all those mosquitos fly in the direction of Rhena.

"Hopefully, this works."

I then followed them to see the results.

Gasp.

It really did.

Rhena was back to living world again with surprisingly more refined body. Her scythes limbs was slowly getting smaller for some reason and she was looking more human now.

Though, Her white skin won't leave.

"That bastard almost killed me!"

". . . . . Wait? How can this mosquitos got out of my command?"

"Hmm. For some reason, when I touch you, I just felt the connections with them."

Rhena frown as she looked at me.

"Don't tell me, you copied my power?"

"Looks like it."

I half lied to her as I can't really say anything about my system. I don't want anyone to know anything about other dimensions or multiverse.

"So uh, please spare me."

After fighting for minutes with this human cyborg, it finally beats him, effortlessly at that.

He's not really a menacing cyborg as he shows outside. Inside the metal armor, he was wearing was a coward Gorilla.

"What happened to your menacing voice earlier?!"

". . . . . I just changed the voice to look cool."

Suddenly, the human cyborg aim his hand to his head.

"Tell me, why are you attacking this place?"

"So, uh, my boss is interested in you."

"Sorry, not interested in men."

"Master, I think, he means that his master wanted to experiment on your body."

"Should we join them?"

"Nope, I'm tired and I was also waiting for something."

I jumped towards my apartment room and directly entered inside.

"Must be cool to have wings."

I really envied how Rhena effortlessly fly inside my room.

But I smile as I remember the goal I had in my mind. That will be accomplished with the help of Tatsumaki.

I lay down on the bed.

"Please, wake me up when you hear something knock on the door."

"Ok."

Without me noticing, I fell asleep.

Knock. Knock.

Ziiiiiiiii.

I waked up to the sound of someone knocking on my door and a loud sound of a drone propeller. I'm very familiar to that sound as I had many drones on my previous world.

My eyes turn towards the clock. It seems that I slept for 3 hours.

"Wait, stay there. I will come and get it."

I stopped Rhena from going on the door. I don't want that drone to have her face send to the hero association, they might dispatch heroes here to subdue her because of her appearance.

I picked up the box, drop by the drone outside my room and immediately take it inside.

Then I started opening it with my hands. The tape on the box didn't give any resistance to my strength and quickly break.

"I didn't think that they would really send me this, this fast."

I anticipate about this but not really this quickly.

"What's that?"

"A letter from the Hero Association."

"Hmm. I heard about that from Dr. Genus."

I nodded and starts reading the content.

Well that was certainly a simple letter.

"So I'm now a S rank huh?"

I don't worry about being on the last of the rank as I'm confident that I can quickly climb.

With my current strength, I can even estimate that if I show my full power, I can quickly climb to atleast top 3 on the rank.

But I would need an opportunity to do that.

"Let's see."

I started applying on the Hero Association website with my phone. It wasn't that complicated, all they need was some information and what I want others to call me as a hero.

"Let's see."

"I had a abnormal amount of strength and I looked like a prince."
