Could they be here to snatch the Ghost Bride? A thought like this suddenly popped into my mind, and perhaps I guessed it right.
I slowly pulled the ink line out of the Ink Pot and fixed one end beside the door of the palanquin, then wrapped it horizontally around three times. Following that, I wound the ink line around the top of the palanquin, binding it vertically. Since the palanquin was made of light paper, I didn't have to use much strength to lift it up.
After the binding was complete, I followed Master's instructions and, together with the Ink Pot, I tied the ink line to a tree.
"Master, it's all tied up. What should we do next?" I asked Master in a soft voice as I stood back beside him, looking at the funeral procession across from us.
