An Enemy Of An Enemy Is My Friend

"What just happened?" someone asked as soon as the whole place stopped shaking. Everything was in disarray as if a meteor just crashed in the surface.

"We don't know. Nobody up there is responding," someone else holding a walkie-talkie answered.

"Give me eyes eyes from above," someone else said. Someone got off the ground running his butt and went to the surveillance room. He came back destressed.

"All the cameras are dead, even the ones two miles away," he relaid. Suddenly, they heard a crash and in front of them was a two metres tall muscled man glaring at them.

"The men upstairs are all dead, soon you will be if you don't bring my parents to me right now," Henry said.

"Who are you? Do you know what you just did?"

"Death it is then," Henry said then lasers came out of his eyes and cut everyone in their way into two. The men screamt as they tried to flee but the lasers would go through walls and floors like they were made of butter and still kill them. Soon, like seconds later, the floor was filled with mutilated body parts, blood and destroyed building parts. Henry went in ahead and came across a huge metal door. He gave it a gentle punch and it flew off its hinges to the other wall. Henry got in with his eyes glowing red but what he saw confused him. His mothers were fine; they even seemed to glow. They were seated on a sofa and on the other sofa was a man he knew was in politics but he couldn't place the name.

"I guess killing all my agents would have made you cool down by now. You are better than I thought," the man said, calmly; a little too calm. Henry's eyes stopped glowing and be turned to his mothers.

"Are you both okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, Mr Alexander has been taking care of us. He rescued us from the SHIELD agents," Mom Tina answered. Henry stopped worrying immediately, not because of what she said but because she was the one who answered. He had always known that Mom Tina was the brave one of the two and in tough situations she would be the ine whose voice is the loudest, that's how he knew something was wrong as soon as Mom Gina said she argued with Mom Tina about speaking to him first. Henry turned to the man he now knew as Alexander.

"I guess you are here to start telling me about I should join you for something," Henry said.

"Yes, actually. I come from an organisation called Hydra. We are an ancient order that has its roots deep in history. Before I tell you more, I would like to confirm that you won't tell any one about this," Alexander said.

"Sure, I promise," Henry said and sat in between his mothers.

"Good. It is no secret that Hydra joined the Nazis in the second world war. But it was because of one man, a man who decided to call himself our leader. He was known as Red Skull. He gave Hydra a bad name and it stuck since then. But what country or organisation doesn't have its moment of downside, huh? But SHIELD came along and started hunting us down claiming that we are a threat to all humanity,"

"Red Skull wanted to enslave all humanity sonit is understandable," Henry said. Alexander chuckled at this.

"Do you know the biggest problem with humanity, Henry? It is that we believe the whole universe centres around us. We believe that we are special and the governments have joined in that brainwashing. Since ancient times, we have been building rules and laws that have made us into what we are today, weak! A thousand years ago, a twelve year old boy would have seen war and be fine. Ten thousand years ago, an eight year old boy would be in the prime of his life, living life like it is his last. Now, even a forty year old man is traumatized by blood and that is not the worst of it all.

"All those movies and cinemas we watch about how advanced civilisations are outsmarted by humans just shows that we humans think that we can come ontop out of everything. I am telling you that it is all wrong. Red Skull saw the future, a future where humanity loses against one alien, an alien holding the power of a whole universe. He wanted to stop the future from happening by uniting all humanity and striving forward but SHIELD saw that as a threat and decided to stop him. They enlisted a defector from our camp, Dr Erskine, into making the perfect Super Soldier serum while he had given Red Skull the in complete on, turning him into a monster. Do you know what the Super Soldier serum does to a person? It amplifies their personality.

"Politicians have always been shrewd and decievers and quite ruthless especially back in the day. So, the imperfect serum amplified this personality by a lot and that's why the flawed Red Skull was created. Even then, he still strove to help humanity but from his own twisted porspective. It wasn't long before Captain America was created, the perfect soldier but it was all political. Erskine created the perfect soldier without any deformities so that when they clash with Red Skull, everyone would see who the real enemy is and so Hydra took the fall. But, we have a chance to make everything great once again. Henry, please, would you do this old man a favour and help us clear our name and bring humanity out of extinction?"

"You weave your lies well and as you said, politicians are not to be trusted. I will not join another group," Henry said. Alexander nodded as if he knew that would happen. He then took a briefcase from beside his couch, opened it and then gave the papers to Henry.

"If you read this, tell me if you will think SHIELD is the hero in this story," Alexander said. Henry took the files with a frown on his face. Once he opened it and started reading it, he started becoming angrier and angrier that his body started producing heat on its own.

The files were about mutants captured and experimented on by SHIELD, many of them from when they were young. How they forced some of them to work for them as assassins when their powers were useful. Some mutants tried to escape but they were killed and their families killed too. Then, he came across a file that made him even more angrier, it was about a 14 year old girl called Ava Starr. Her parents died from a laboratory explosion as theh were investigating quantum physics. Her father was discharged from SHIELD because Hank Pym discredited him and had him fired. Ava was left with the power to phase through objects but she was always in pain as she was absorbing powers from the quantum realm. SHIELD took her in with the promise of helping her get a cure and made a killer out of her. Even to him, he knew they were not trying to get the cure for her. The last file was about him. He came to know that when he was unconscious, SHIELD tried all means to dispose him and some were downright illegal to do to anyone, especially a thirteen year old boy. Lasers shot out from his eyes and burnt the papers away

"These sick bastards!" he gritted his teeth in anger.

"Exactly. Now you see what SHIELD is behind the curtain. Will you let such an evil organisation continue receiving the public?"

"How can I just sit still when I have read that. You want to take them down, don't you?"

"No, I don't want to take them down; I want to bury them and make Hydra great once again,"

"I will not join your group because I am sure you have your skeletons too but the way I see it SHIELD is the enemy now and the enemy of my enemy is my friend. When the time comes, I will help you bring down SHIELD for good,"

"You have my thanks. Hydra has already infiltrated SHIELD from the inside and soon, we will have our day but we are looking for something. Once we find it, SHIELD will be no more."

"When the day comes, I want Fury's head to roll by my lasers," Henry said. Alexander smiled at this.

"You will have your wish," Alexander promised him. "But till then, I would like you to continue pretending to be part of SHIELD. Telorate for now, our time will come soon," Alexander said then walked out.
