Mai looks at the mission screen while sitting on her bed. The name of the incident has changed considerably from the first one. It wasn't a Crazy Flying Knife anymore because of various ways Mai used to put terrors into her victims, not just with knives. Especially the heroes, because they're not kids so they can take more of her harassment.
The incident was even once published in the newspaper. Well, it wasn't a hit because many people still didn't believe in it. Also, who the heck read the newspaper.
After all, there's the fact that this incident didn't cause any casualties at all. The only one who worried about this is the hero agencies. Even the residents of the orphanage didn't cause much fuss about it anymore.
The hero agencies were worried because even when they put many heroes on patrol at the orphanage, the incident was still happening before their very eyes. Not only that, even the victims started to change from the occupants of the orphanage to the heroes that they sent there.
They thought that the enemy was just using some invisibility quirk, they have a device to detect that. In fact, Mai has been detected by the device, but the one who uses the device, can't feel her presence from it.
For instance, if she stands in front of the CCTV, she will be caught in the video, but the one who watches the video, can't feel her presence in it. Also, if people use a radar device, the device will pick up her presence and beeped. But others can't hear the beep from the device. The device looks like it didn't pick up anything for them.
Mai was having so much fun that she already forgot about her revenge on the children of the orphanage. It looks like she wouldn't be doing that anytime soon.
She then took notice of her daily mission for today. She carefully checks it out to see if it real or not. When she knew it real, her brain then began to work at the speed of light and came to a perfect conclusion. 'Yep, not doing it!'
Mai was a cat person. Throwing cat, in general, is already sacrilegious for her. As for throwing a cat at a dog, those who did so in front of her pretty much craved for a death sentence.
Mai got up from her bed and immediately went out to take a bath. When she came to the bathroom, she didn't use the water from the shower to wash but used her own water magic. After she finished, she cast her basic wind magic to dry herself off. She then immediately put on clean clothes and then went to the dining room for breakfast.
While having breakfast, she hears some rumors from the children that the famous pro hero, Ingenium will come to this orphanage to stop the incident. They look very happy when they start chatting about heroes.
'He's late,' Mai thought to herself. She has already planned to end the incident today from a long time ago. She wants to do something else to get incident points.
Mai quickly ate her breakfast then returned to her room and start preparing for the upcoming night. She jumps into her bed, then rolls around so that her face starts facing the ceiling and opens up the mission page to looks at the incident part.

"Umu..." Mai murmured. After that, she began to open up the shop menu. She learns that the topmost item is the most expensive one. If she wants cheap items she must scroll down to the bottom or she can just change the setting from {expensive -> cheap} to {cheap -> expensive}.
The system also told her that she can just ask for the items she wants and it will display them to her. She can also look at the items manually, there is a category menu in the top left corner of the shop screen.
Mai then found what she wanted. It's super-duper cheap, costing only one incident point for 1000 of them. And that is... yen. She first comes across it a few days ago, when she had just learned the full extent of the shop's functions. That is what she wanted to buy or can also be called exchange in this situation. 1 incident point can be exchanged for 1000 yen but not vice versa.
She then exchanges 927 Incident points into 927.000 yen (100 yen = 1 USD Dollars of American). Why 927? It so that the remaining of her points became nice to look at.

Mai can be said to be a responsible person. She's the type a person who's always responsible for a thing that she does willingly. But she deems that it wasn't her responsibility if it was an accident.
For example, if she crashes a motorcycle while driving because the person who's riding the motorbike suddenly slows down, she will not back down from arguing that she's innocent even though the person she ran over lose their legs, their hands, or their pp. On the contrary, she would gladly go to jail, if, for some reason, she just in the mood to crash someone and did the deed.
So tonight, she will give 900.000 yen to the orphanage as compensation for the knives that she borrowed(stole and broke), the facilities that she destroyed, the mental damage of some children, and Bic's bananas. The rest will be kept for herself.
She then uses her ability, Infinite Inventory, and after that, a screen appears. It was filled with empty boxes except for one. She can see the money icon inside that one box. It looks like inventory from RPG games.
She began to focus her mind on wanting to get money out from her inventory. It was according to what the system explained to her. Then, a lot of money suddenly appeared from thin air. They all started floating down, making a mess out of her bedroom.
Mai's face would frown if they could. She likes things that are beautiful and neat so she always keeps her bedroom clean. Now that her room became like this, of course, she wouldn't like it. Even if it's all filled with money.
She then quickly put all the money again into her inventory. It turns out she can store them all at once. She then began to prepare some other stuff, like an apology letter, etc.

When Tensei Ida or also known as Turbo Hero: Ingenium heard several rumors about the many heroes who failed to solve the cases that occurred at an orphanage, he volunteered to carry out the mission.
Of course, he wouldn't do it alone. He would also bring some members from the hero agencies that run by him. He wouldn't underestimate this mission because many people had failed already. Also, he's someone who valued teamwork, believing that having a large group where everyone serves a specific purpose is the easiest way to get things done quickly.
Currently, they're in a car, going towards the orphanage. He could see the sun that had almost completely disappeared. There's only a tiny bit of light leaking out. After driving for a few minutes, they finally arrived at their destination.
The head of the orphanage came out personally to receive them. But Tensei Ida is a man who didn't like a formality. He's too free-spirited. He just wants to do his job right away. The head only asked Ida and his teammates to join in for dinner before she would then tell them the details of the incident.
Tensei can only nod his head after his friends force him to say yes. While this is happening, Mai was already inside of the head's office. From what she's seen in the past few days, the head of the orphanage is a righteous person so Mai didn't need to worry about her stealing money. But she's just too annoying that she always reprimanded the person who's doing something wrong, harshly, and for a long time with her voice enchanting quirk.
Even Mai got called to her office after the word gets out that she slapped Bic. That's how she knows about this place. It's great that she can act innocent like a five-year-old child to get away from the most of it. If she's considered an adult, she would be half dead just by the nagging session alone.
After Mai finished checking the room, she took out the money from her inventory. She had practiced using this ability today and the money that she released looks neat.
Mai also plastered an apology letter on top of the head's desk along with a kid's drawing that she drew, besides it. The drawing looks really creepy but Mai just didn't notice it. She quickly gets out to have her dinner after that.

After they finished dinner, the head of the orphanage along with Tensei Ida and his teammates went to the head's office to discuss the incident. But when she opened the door, they were all shocked to see what was inside. The chief and the heroes quickly entered to inspect the room. She then found the writing on her desk. She reads it aloud and the others approach her.
"T-h-a-n-k-y-o-u f-o-r p-l-a-y-i-n-g w-i-t-h m-e-! S-o-r-r-y f-o-r t-h-e i-n-c-o-n-v-e-n-i-e-n-t-! G-o-o-d-b-y-e-!"
Then, they look at the drawing beside the writing. The paper was just filled with stickmen with red dot eyes holding each other's hand, but one of them who's blurred is holding a knife. They all somehow shuddered when seeing it.
But the head of the orphanage's face scrunched up. She looks again at the drawing carefully. There was something odd about it and she knew it. After looking at it for several minutes, she discovered what was strange. There were 218 stickmen in the picture, and if she remembered correctly, that's the same number as the children who lived in the orphanage. She then looks at the one holding a knife. 'Coincidence?' She thought to herself.
