36 Chapter 36 - Tobe Continued!
"Something isn't right..." Muttered All Might, who was just resting quietly on a sofa inside of his house.
He was supposed to be with Eraserhead and Thirteen right now, teaching the students alongside them both. But because of his recklessness, he has consumed all the recommended duration of using his quirk for today to help all the people that he encountered. That's the reason why he couldn't follow them to U.S.J., and was told by the headmaster to take a rest.
"Maybe I should call him," After he said that, he pulled out his phone and dialed Aizawa's number. But it didn't get picked up. The more he tried and failed, the more anxious he became.
His hero's sense is tingling!
"I'll check them out!" All Might got up from his seat and decided to go out to the U.S.J. building, even though he was prohibited from doing so for today. He then hastily called for a taxi driver and went there using a car to preserve his quirk usage.
But on his way there, when he was still inside the city, he saw a little girl with blue hair, looking anxiously while she seemed to be searching for something with no guardian whatsoever, but nobody decided to help her. They were all busy with their own lives.
"Sigh..." All Might didn't know why, but he slowly lost his faith in humanity, even as a hero.
Well, even though he felt anxious for his friends and students, it didn't really prove anything yet. So he prefers to help someone that was right in front of his eyes first. That's why...
"Sir, please stop here!" All Might called out to the taxi driver as he opened the door and came out. He thus walked down to the little girl.
"Umm... Mister? You haven't paid yet!" The driver called out to him when he hadn't gone too far from the car.
Hearing that, All Might halted, and then calmly searched for his wallet inside of his pants pocket.
"Huh? Where?" He sweatdropped.

Meanwhile, Tenya Ida, who has successfully freed himself from the villains' encirclement in the U.S.J. building, continued to sprint as fast as he possibly could, to quickly call for help from all the other heroes at school.
...But he tripped and fell.
"MY LEGS!!!"
Sometimes, Mai's luck stats became a curse for other people.

"Fuuuhh..." After she steadied her breathing, Mai immediately shifted into her fighting stance. Well, the only reason she got hit in the first place is that Nomu's punch was the fastest strike she had ever received from a foe. So it was really hard to change from her usual pace all of the sudden. Besides, she didn't even speculate that Nomu could sense her when her Unconscious ability was still activated.
However, she didn't feel hurt that much, maybe because of (Harden), which can negate most of the damage from the first attack that the user received after the ability was used. If not, she wouldn't just get blown for a few meters away. With the difference in physical stats of both Mai and Nomu, her body might even get shot to a wall.

That's what Mai remembered about Nomu's stats. As for Shigaraki stats, there wasn't a need to pointing that out as there's nothing outstanding except for his Hp and quirk.
It was still a piece of information gained from the low-level version of the system's appraisal. The content is so simple, and Mai liked simple stuff, that's why she told the system to still downgraded the version of the appraisal, even though she had owned an ability to not forget things that she sees.
But as she thinks of that, Mai suddenly heard someone shouted.
"Nomu, stop!" Shigaraki instructed Nomu, making it halted in place from making its next big move. Then, he gazes at Mai with his intimidating eyes. Even when he wore a hand-shaped mask on his face, it still couldn't hide the broad grin that he currently has. Then, he laughed profusely.
"Heh, Heheheheheh, HUEHUEHUEHUE-"
Mai couldn't comprehend why did he do that, but lucky for her, it gives her the time to calm herself down from the previous shock that she received. 'Ai-chan, why are you also surprised? Do you really didn't know about what would happen just now?'
[Umm... Actually, that before was merely a fluke! I didn't tell the Host about it because I want the host to make her own careful judgment before doing an act, which could be beneficial for the Host in the long run!]

But Mai ignored the system's plead and continue to stare at Shigaraki, who's still laughing nonstop, to a point where she wondered how he couldn't sense her presence when she used her unconscious ability previously.
"-HUeHuehue... hah..." At last, he finally stopped as he took a deep breath.
[Host, the duration of his laugh is exactly one and a half minutes!]
'...I don't know how should I use that information to my advantage.' Mai simply retorted, noticing the system somehow came back to normal.
"You are... Vigilant Yaksha, am I right?" Shigaraki stopped being crazy and started a conversation. He asked Mai a question.
Mai was conflicted about whether to respond with the truth or not, but she suddenly pulls her right arm up, pointed her index finger at Shigaraki, and then her thumb at herself, after that, she slowly brandishing her index finger down at the front while she replied to him monotonously, "Yes. I. Am..."
"..." The bratty side of Shigaraki was mesmerized by her cool pose for a second, before he quickly came back to his senses. "*Ahem!* I... I knew it without your answering anyway! Your previously shown ability and that unique mask were a big giveaway. A-Although your outfit does look different from usual... but that's not the point here!"
'Fufufu~!' Seeing him getting flustered by how awesome she was, Mai felt proud of herself.
[Host! Good job!]
"A-Anyway, my name is Tomura Shigaraki. I came looking for All Might, and I found you instead. I'm glad that all my effort didn't go in vain!"
"Well, that's great... Here, here... You can have a good look." Mai replied in a flat tone as if she wasn't a bit interested, contradict to what she said.
"You!" Shigaraki felt like he was being taunted, he used most of his energy to calm himself down, before he continued, "Hmph! My teacher was interested and has been hunting you for years now! Even if we didn't beat All Might, he would still be very happy if I bring your body to him! I'm sure of it! That's why..." He stopped his sentences midway, before he proceeds again as the smile that was hidden on his face became even larger than before, "Could please consider surrendering yourself off so everything would end up peacefully?"
The atmosphere change all of the sudden. But it didn't affect Mai at all. She just stood there and answered flatly "...Nope."
Short, dense, and clear. That's how she responded.
"Hah~. You've given me no choice, then... NOMU!" Wanting to end this feud and go back to the base quickly, Shigaraki called out to the bird-headed creature. Its head shifted toward his direction, as the creature patiently waiting for its boss's next order. "SMASH!"
