5 First days in a modern world (2)

Currently, the president of the world government anxiously waited on the top floor of the super tall black skyscraper. He was a strong, muscular and tall man with white hair and blue, honest eyes. He looked rather average, but his surrounding aura easily made up for that. He sat behind his desk with a confident air around him. No one would tell that he's currently more than 50 years old. He looks more like a strong 30 without wrinkles. The president continued to wait for his guests and someone knocked on the brown wooden door just as he expected.

Ray was the one who knocked on the door. He also shouted after that. "Mr, President, I brought Daniel here."

The president started sweating when he heard this sentence. The moment of truth has come. Real legend? Fake legend? He will know everything after Daniel steps inside. The president told them to come in and the door slowly opened. The first one to walk in was Ray. Daniel walked in after that closely behind him. His bright red eyes were instantly locked on the president. In that moment the president knew that the one who stood before him was definitely not a fake god of war. That hair color, those eyes, that soul crushing confidence and that extreme calmness. This extreme agressive, yet calm presence was definitely not fake! The president cleared his throat and tried to speak.

"Ehm, uhh, y-you are really the real god of war straight out of the legend." The president tried to say something, but seems like Daniel surprised him too much and the president ended up stuttering. Ray lightly chuckled in the corner of the spacious office room. The super confident, always perfect president stuttered! Ray always waited for a moment like this. The president shot a glance towards ray and his cheeks reddened a little at the same time. The current situation became a bit awkward, but luckily Daniel broke the ice very soon.

"Ohh, seems like I don't need to introduce myself anymore. Welcome Mr. president. What do you plan to do now? I don't have evil intentions and I'm pretty much new in this world."

The president snapped out of his daze and collected himself.

"Indeed the current case is a bit complicated, however I already arranged everything if you don't mind. The world government will give you a place to live for a few weeks. You will also join the White Valkyrie academy. The White Valkyrie academy is one of the five academies. You can get closer to our society this way. Also, the White Valkyrie academy is a place especially for those who want's to get stronger. I can guarantee you that you will not regret it. Who knows maybe there will be a few who are even stronger than you. This is all we can do for you currently. Also, every data related to you is confidental. Otherwise your identity would cause a wordwide problem."

It was understandable. The job of the world government was to catch criminals and keep peace. Helping out Daniel like this was already generous. Just imagine the police paying for your school and gives you a house. The current situation was similar.

"I understand and thank you for your help."

Daniel then turned back and walked out of the room with a big bodyguard beside him. This bodyguard showed him the house where he will live from now on. It was not just a house. It was a luxury villa. This luxury villa was usually the guest house of the world government, but now Daniel will live inside it for a few weeks. The villa was a white modern design with black tinted windows. A huge pool and a lot of rooms. It was spacious and calm. Daniel liked it.

He walked inside and thanked the bodyguard for his help. The bodyguard told him that the world government will probably watch him for a few weeks secretly. Daniel was not bothered by it and understood the situation. He killed millions in the past. Thus, the world government treated him as a dangerous person even if he didn't do anything. They just wanted to make sure that Daniel succesfully adapting to this new world. They didn't know that Daniel already adapted.

Daniel sat on his bed with closed eyes currently. He tried to organize the new informations about this world inside his head.

In 2035 humans mysteriously gained the ability to constantly get stronger. Atomic bombs, missiles, warships. The strongest weapons of destruction became useless in front of a single fist. The fist of a martial artist! Luckily, getting stronger took a long time for everyone. Since, this was their first time doing something like this. Adapting to this new power was even harder. The power balance started to crumble and the organization called the world government emerged at this chaotic time. The world government started as a super big group of talented fighters. Their only objective was to keep the peace. The world successfully avoided a third world war this way and the world government remained as a symbol of peace.

There was another big phenomenon at the same time. The continents started to move towards each other and formed one big continent. This continent is called Pangea and every human lives here currently. The change greatly influenced the human society. The borders changed, nations argued about almost everything. Luckily, the peace remained and a new era started at the same time. Only those with enough talent can live peacefully. The weak will be oppressed. Thus, no wonder everyone wanted to get stronger.

Daniel successfully organised the new information inside his head, then remembered something. The goddess said that she will give Daniel a gift, but Daniel didn't get anything till now and this bothered him. He started thinking that the goddess tricked him, but suddenly a transparent white screen appeared before him.
