12 First day

Of course he knew what this system mission meant. The top dog of a class is always the strongest there, but there was a problem this time. School didn't even started yet and there was no top dog. How can Daniel win against a non-existent opponent? The answer is waiting. He just needs to stay low and wait for the top dog. The top dog of a group will always stand out after some time. Daniel just decided to do that and went to sleep after he took a bath.

The next day Daniel woke up refreshed, he stretched for a few minutes then started his daily routine with a big breakfast. Then did his daily workout because he woke up early just for that. He noticed that his punch and kick mastery didn't go up after the training. This confirmed that the level 2 mastery is about fighting experience. Others probably would need years or even decades to reach level 3 if that's true, but luckily Daniel didn't lack the experience. This level is probably the easiest for him after the first level.

The last thing he did in the morning was to test out his new skill [Knockback]. The description of this skill made him excited yesterday. Send your opponents flying with a single touch. Doing something like this with normal martial arts and a strong body was impossible. Daniel always added his strength and speed to his every attack. He placed a fist sized rock on the table, activated the skill then touched the rock. The rock indeed got knocked back, but only around 2 meters. Daniel noticed two things after he tried the skill again. There was a ten second cooldown period and a notification popped up after he used the skill

This notification was different from the punch and kick mastery. This was probably because those two were not skills, but something like a basic attack. Daniel wondered what is that 1% knockback and decided to ask the system. The system said that 99% left till the next rank. The skill is already A rank, this means that this skill is amongst the stronger skills. The system also explained this to Daniel. There are six ranks: E, D, C, B, A and special rank. Special rank skills are surprisingly not always the strongest. Daniel wanted to know why, but the system didn't say anything this time.

He used knockback a few times after his talk with the system and succesfully raised the percentage to 33%. Now, he did everything he wanted to do in the morning and the usual black sedan stopped before his villa not long after this. Daniel wore the same clothes as yesterday and got inside the car like that. His hair was messy currently, but he didn't care with that. Not surprisingly, the president was not inside the car this time. Only his lively daughter, Kira and the driver.

Kira sat on the front seat beside the driver and looked back after she noticed that Daniel sat down on the back seat without greeting her. The driver also noticed him from the rear-view mirror and greeted him with his usual apathetic face. Daniel nodded then looked out of the window. He just looked at the concrete, the giant buildings everywhere, big illuminated billboards. Then he thought it was funny. The world changed, but the rules didn't. The one with greater power wins. The style changed, but everything remained the same.

Kira looked at Daniel and started pouting because he didn't greet her. She stared at him and watched him as he looked out of the window with a sleepy face. Daniel jawned sometimes and his eyes were half closed. He looked very carefree and unrestrained currently. Kira remembered what his father said to her when she asked who is Daniel. Her father only said that she should try her best to learn martial arts from him.

Her father said this, but Kira didn't care. She was talented, beautiful and smart. Her mindset didn't allow her to think about Daniel as someone who is stronger than her. She only thought that Daniel was interesting. The A-1 class was the strongest class in the school and Daniel got into that class. This alone proved his strength. The driver stopped before the big school gate and opened the door for Kira. Daniel stepped out on his own and looked around.

There were a big crowd flowing through the school gates. It felt like as if every student came to school at the same time. Daniel let out a sigh when he saw this. This means that his class was probably a place full of people and he didn't like that. Kira on the other hand was very excited. She rushed through the school gate as if it was some kind of race. Daniel just sighed and followed her with his own balanced pace. Kira saw this and confidently grabbed Daniel's wrist then pulled him towards the classroom with a happy smile on her face.

"Come on, Daniel."

"Don't pull me."

Kira didn't care and just pulled him away. They opened the door and stepped inside the classroom. Kira immediately froze when she stepped inside. Daniel just looked around. Surprisingly, only 5 people were inside the A-1 classroom and .... the teacher. He was a tall muscular man with brown short beard, brown hair, brown eyes. He wore a black suit and looked very serious. Daniel looked at him and the teacher started speaking.

"Seems like everyone is here. I'll forgive you this time only because this is your first day here. Don't be late next time. Now, let's start with the introductions, then I'll tell the school rules."
