7 Chapter Seven

Iruoma searched for remedy, but to no avail. She drank all the necessary herbs recommended but nothing seems working. She has visited so many churches for prayers but miracle seems not to exist in her world. Her husband wasn't himself since his mother's last visit. Each time the mother calls, his heart skips over his wife's inability to conceive.

At his place of work, Rose his secretary seems much interested in her boss. She walked inside her boss office and noticed that he was unhappy

"Good morning sir" she greeted with a smile. Yea Rose was a beautiful lady with nice figure

"Yes Rose, how are you?"Chinedu asked

"I'm fine sir" she brought out a file" sir Mr Stephen Nicholas said that i should give you this " she said, stretching out the file to him

"Drop it" he said turning away from her. She dropped it and made her move to go but she stopped and turn

"Sir, are you alright?" She asked because she knew something was bothering her boss

"Hmm..... Rose, just go" he said picking up the file to take a look

"Sir.... Is it something concerning your family?.... You can confide in me.. Really I might be of help" coming closer to the table

"Rose!" Looking at her with a warning look

"Sorry sir" she bowed, turned and went out. Closing the door behind her, she spoke silently"oh my goodness..... Look at his eyes.... He's so cool and cute.... Woaw this man should know that somebody is dying to get his attention.... Hmmmm i mean, i want you" she thought within herself.

From that day onwards, she started shooting her shots hoping one day it will strke . Chinedu saw rose and her new form of dressing and he liked what he saw. So he was interested in seeing everything but he doesn't have the courage to ask for it.

On a very beatiful thursday at the office , Chinedu called Rose

"Sir, you called me" she said with smile on her face

"Yea, Rose how are you" he asked as he fixed his eyes on rose breast cleavage but lack words, like something was attracting him there

"Sir I'm fine" reaching for a seat

"Hmmmm.... Rose sorry to say this, but can we----" he took a deep long breath" Rose do you mind us hanging out during the weekend" he asked scratching his beards

"Aww.,. Sir, you mean this weekend?"she asked thinking it was a dream

"Yea, but if you can't make it, then I won't bother you"he bent, trying to hide his face

"Where do i know in this place" with her face full of joy" sir I'm free anytime"

"Wow, alright i will give you a call then..... You can go" Rose returned to her position with a lit face

"Am i dreaming?.... Oh i can't breathe, i can't breathe... Huh! Somebody should wake me up" she spoke loud without knowing that one of her colleague was behind her

"Hah.... Madam are you okay?, did you win lottery?" She asked

"Don't mind" she replied rearranging her desk" all these amebo in this company won't mind there own business mtcheew" she hissed .....
