11 Chapter Eleven

IRUOMA

I toiled all day, time , weeks, even months searching through out the internet to look for solutions. I paid online, some delivered, some didn't, those that didn't deliver, i took them as fraudsters. I wasn't a catholic but I went to there chapels, even to different churches, in fact i was a religious harlot but it doesn't make meaning to me. All i wanted was God to forgive me from the innocent kids I hurt so bad....

Each day i prayed for my husband to come back to his senses for him to accept me. And definitely, I was loosing weight each day, but who would it be. The whole situation was really stressing me....

"Why are you still thinking" chinedu's mother asked as she saw her son looking restless in the sitting room. Something deeply troubles him

"Mama, I'm confused" he said looking at his mother

"You don't have to be at all. I'm beside you son..... You need to understand that you are my only child and I don't want to hear issues about not having children in your marriage" she said holding her son"that woman is a real bad luck to you and..."

Chinedu interrupted"Mother please.... Let's not talk about it"

"Why-- why are you defending this woman so much, that you can't even see what I'm seeing."looking at chinedu in a suspicious manner "or is there anything you're not telling me?"

Chinedu looking so worried but later came back to himself"nothing mother, you are just talking too much" moving in to his room

"Ewo!.... You're so much like your father..... Just look at somebody I'm trying to help"

At the evening time, when iruoma was returning back from work, a car was coming behind her. She turned and it was her husband, she moved forward trying not to look back but chinedu moved and stop at her front

"Come on, hop in please" chinedu begged

Iruoma went in to avoid creating awareness" why are you doing this" iruoma asked trying not to look him on the face

"Are you not my wife again?" He asked but later starts driving because Iruoma wasn't giving him chance to ask. Iruoma directed him to gab's compound. She alighted from the car and Chinedu drove out.

Iruoma was so happy, at least God was hearing her a bit...
