Chapter 1 - The encounter

Kibo stood in front of his new room with door closed. He stared at the door for quiet a while and finally decided to enter. He was a little tensed as It was his first time living in a dorm. What he worried more was how his roommate would be!

He opened the door slowly. To his surprise, There was no one in the room except few boxes laying on one of the bed which stopped the view of other side.

He started unpacking his bag, "This will be in and This out as I need it on regular basis." He started talking to himself.

Snoring!

"Shit , What sound it is? Sounds like snoring." He said slowly and started investing. He looked around but there was no one. He went to the other side of boxes and, "Fuck! Why the hell is he here??" Kibo felt like almost he had heart attack by seeing a handsome but known man laying on other bed.

"Take it easy Kibo, take it easy" He murmured to himself.

He calmed himself down, He looked at the face of the person sleeping for conformation and then he was left dumbfounded.

"Noah!!!!"

By the loud shout of Kibo, The sleeping person answered in a sleepy tone

"Huh? It wasn't me, I wasn't snoring momma... Hmm"

"Hey asshole Noah, take your ass up and look here." Kibo shouted again.

Finally the handsome sleeping man woke up and yawns and then had Eye to eye contact with his roommate.

"Holy shit!!!" Noah exclaimed. "What the hell you're doing here?"

"Huh? What I am doing here? Dumbass.. It's college dorm, what do you expect me to be here for?" Kibo asked Noah.

"Umm... Yeah... But didn't you say that you wanna study abroad." Noah asked.

"Yeah, I did.. But now plan changed." Kibo said.

Noah and Kibo have been close friends in their last year of high school. They were close but not very close because of opposite behavior. Kibo was smart and topped in the high school, while Noah was Average in studies. Kibo was from middle class family, while Noah was from rich family. Noah even after being very handsome and rich never had girlfriend or never even flirted with girls and on other hand, Kibo got thousands of proposal but he had learnt how to refuse. He just had loved one person in his life but that person cheated him.

There passed a few moments in silence, Both looking at each other.

"Ugh Noah, Let me go. Have you forgot the taste of my feet?" Kibo said while pushing Noah away from him. As Noah belongs from rich family he has habit of hugging people but Kibo didn't like his habit of hugging him very tightly.

"Oho, You haven't changed a bit. Always ready to pick a fight. Such a violent friend." Noah said moving a bit away from Kibo.

"So, How's life goin' " Noah sat on his bed and asked his friend whom he haven't met in a while.

"Nothing much. What about you? Still single or what?" Kibo asked Noah making fun of him.

"Hmm... Still single." Noah replied like he wasn't interested in this question.

"Why don't you find someone? A pretty girl Huh? You are handsome also." Kibo asked Noah and continued. "Hey, Don't tell me that you are not into girls."

"What the Fuck are you speaking? Stop being stupid." Noah said while blushing a bit.

"I can see you blushing. Tell me who's he?" Kibo stood up and asked Noah seriously without making fun of him.

"Kibo!!" Noah looked on the floor ignoring eye contact and said, " Its SHE not HE"

"Seriously?? Now my friend have become a real men. So, What's the name of your girlfriend? Is she in the same university? How you met her? Is she pretty?" Kibo started the list of his questions.

"Wait, wait, Wait... One question at a time." Noah told Kibo and continued, "Firstly she isn't my girlfriend yet, she doesn't even know me and about your another question then yes she is in the same university." Noah replied to the questions of Kibo.

"What!! She isn't your Girlfriend yet? Ha, you mean it's your secret crush?"

"Hmm, Something like this."

"Then why don't you express your feelings to her?" Kibo sat again and asked.

"But... I don't have guts to. What if she'll reject me?" Noah turned serious and said.

"Noah, Look here." Kibo pulled Noah's chin and told him to look into his eyes. "She is not going to reject you, Just look at yourself the person to reject you would be damn stupid. For you the girls of our high school were crazy, you are perfect. You look handsome, you never disrespected girls and moreover you never had girlfriend. She is gonna be lucky to have you. If you are the one proposing then not only girls but boys can fall too. If it's me then I'll accept you too."

'Oops, what the hell did I say', Kibo regretted over what he said just now. There was silence in the room again, Kibo and Noah were looking deep inside each other's eyes.

And Boom!!! Noah broke the eye contact as he was feeling embarrassed over what Kibo said to him.

Kibo broke the silence first and said, "Buddy gather up your confidence and tell her you like her, I'll support you."

Noah just nodded.

"Hey, But you didn't tell me her name and which faculty she is in?" Kibo asked.

"Her, Name.... Name is .....is... I....Ink." Noah said blushing ear to ear. " And she is in Architecture faculty."

"Oh, she's in Architecture faculty. Hmm.... I'm in Architecture faculty too. Hope I'll meet her." Kibo said mocking Noah.

"I don't think you'll meet her." Noah said.

" Whatever. Who knows the future. Let's grab something to eat then." Kibo stood up and said.

"Hmm"

Noah and Kibo stood up and went out to eat. And well Kibo is right, who knows the future.

The sun was moving down in the west. Darkness covered the entire room. The room was empty as the the one who were gonna live together went to eat outside.

"So, Which restaurant we should go?" Kibo asked looking at his phone.

"I guess the one which is near our dorm. I was eating there since I moved to this dorm." Noah replied.

"Okay then lets go there, But the food there must be tasty otherwise you'll pay for both of us." Kibo said but he was still busy looking at his phone. It was looking like he was chatting with someone but he wasn't happy.

"Whom are you chatting with? From your face, it doesn't seem like you're chatting with Jane." Noah said while trying to sneak at Kibo's phone.

"None of your business." Kibo immediately turned his phone off and started walking towards the restaurant.

"Huh.... Wait for me... What the hell are you being mad at me for? Wait....." Noah pouted and followed Kibo who was far from him now.

They both entered the hotel. There was a beautiful fragrance coming from in. Both sat on the table which was empty. Kibo started looking at the menu card.

"Hmm.... So what you wanna eat?" Noah asked and continued "Order anything you like, I will pay for it today. Consider it as my treat."

"Ha, Why are being so kind to me?" Kibo asked, but he was still looking at the menu card.

Both were busy, Kibo busy looking at the menu card and Noah was busy in scrolling Instagram stories.

"So, Have you chosen?" Noah asked. Noah turned his phone off and started looking for the waiter.

"Hey, Excuse me.." Noah called the waiter.

The waiter came, Noah looked at Kibo and asked again, "So, What you wanna order?"

Now, Kibo was not looking at menu card but instead was hiding his face under the menu card.

"Hey... I'm calling you, How long will you take to chose?" Noah asked while pulling the card away.

"Shh..." Kibo hide his face again and with the moments of eyes he asked Noah to shut up.

Noah was confuse, He looked around and suddenly

"Hey Jane!!! come here, ah, what are you doing here, how long it had been since we met." Noah waved his hand at someone but Kibo was panicking.

There came a pretty girl with short hair near the table, and said in very surprised yet pretty cute voice, "Ah... You are Noah. Oh how long it had been since we met. How are you?"

"I'm fine Jane. How are you?" Noah asked The girl who was standing and then looked at Kibo who was still hiding his face under the Menu card.

Now, Noah pulled the card with force and ....

"Kibo!!!!" Jane shouted.
