7 Triggered

The latter stayed confused for quite a sometime before maintaining a decent distance from her. The thought that she was not able to recognise his heart seemed to be stabbed a million times.

Alleyn who understood the condition after regaining his composure came forward and asked about her current mind state. From her description he came to a conclusion that she might have lost her memory for the temporary period of time. Since he already knew about this when he performed the operation.

Aaric remained silent. He knew he couldn't do anything. The only option left for him was to wait for her recovery patiently.

While checking her injuries and a proper check up Alleyn told her, "You can take a rest today and from tomorrow you can walk inside the house. Don't try to act roughly all of a sudden. Let your body adjust a little. You must take your meal properly since you didn't have any solid food. If you need anything tell the nurse. OK?"

Sasha nodded her head in agreement like a little obedient child and looked at Aaric. Sensing her gaze he looked towards her and gave her a gentle yet a warm loving smile. Unexpectedly Sasha smiled back at him. Seeing her smile on her pretty face he felt as if decades have passed since he saw her smiling face.

After seeing a lovey dovey scenery he choked and cleared his throat before speaking to Aaric.

"Hey Aaric. I've something to talk to you about."

On hearing his friend's voice he turned towards him with a dark face and nodded his head. Alleyn left the room first. Aaric stood up and told her before following his friend.

"Rest well, you are still recovering. If you need anything just let me know. You can press that bell on the side table. Be good and rest now. I'll check on you later."

Again Sasha nodded her before laying down on bed.

She stared at the ceiling and let out a deep sigh before closing her eyes.

After waking up whatever she saw was unfamiliar to her. Even she herself doesn't feel familiar. She doesn't know who she is. Doesn't know the people around her. Such a feeling of insecurity!

No one would understand how she felt. The feeling of hopelessness no one could understand that unless they are in her spot.

But the moment Aaric hugged her, she immediately felt relaxed. It gave her a sense of security, a sense of longing as if she was longing for his warmth from the past eight months and that desperation made her awake.

"So what do you think of her? Is she fine?" Aaric asked directly.

Alleyn's face became serious before replying to him.

"I think she is recovering well. The main thing which made me worried during the time of operation was about her brain. Well she is suffering from amnesia right now. So make sure you don't force her or try to remind her forcefully about the past. She will eventually remember everything after she recovers completely. You need to wait patiently."

Aaric nodded his head. After Alleyn headed out of the villa, Aaric returned back to the room. He opened the door and found her sleeping on the bed soundly. He quickly strode towards the bed. He covered her with the blanket before tucking her hair behind her ears so that he could see her face which finally gained some colour and was not pale anymore.

He planted a kiss on her forehead before going out of the room.

By the time Sasha woke up it was already 7 in the evening. She sat on the bed and was staring at the pictures hanging on the wall. All the pictures had a loving couple. She couldn't accept that she forgot about the man who loved her with all his heart. Not only did she forget about him but also she behaved in such a harsh manner.

Less did she know that the incident which happened 8 months back was enough to break him. The thought of losing her made this tough ruthless man afraid of living.

While trying to recollect everything, she forgot that she can't pressurise her brain or else she would suffer. Something triggered her lower brain and it started to hurt. The pain became unbearable for her. Everything started to seem black to her.

It didn't take her long to collapse before calling out a name.

"Aaaahhhhh..... Aaric !!!!! "

"Please Aaric help me."
