2 Heavily Injured

Aaric Smith made his way to the VVIP ward which he asked his secretary to prepare for her.

The moment he reached the door the other bodyguards came to him from behind. The bodyguards informed him that their lady boss is heavily injured and is in the operation room, being operated.

The only thing their boss could hear was the sentence the bodyguard spoke, 'Lady boss is heavily injured'.

His whole world took a 360° turn when the thought of losing her came in his mind. His gem was heavily injured.

This thought repeated continuously in his mind until the bodyguards can feel a dangerous aura around themselves. Their boss was angered beyond death. They could feel that aura was much more dangerous than other times. This was the first time when a thought came to the minds of bodyguards 'Boss is surely going to flip and destroy everyone'.

Aaric was rooted on that spot and was staring at the wall blankly. The bodyguards didn't knew what to do. They stood silently behind him.

After a few minutes passed, there were sounds of footsteps approaching them. On hearing those sounds the bodyguards turned towards the source keeping their guard up for the entire time. Soon the man turned towards their direction and the guards bowed to him. Aaric's secretary Remo nodded at the bodyguards and moved towards his boss who was standing silently while lost in his thoughts.

"Boss !! "

Remo gestured to the bodyguards to walk out and guard at the entrance. After receiving the order the bodyguards bowed before moving out.

"Boss I have collected the CCTV footage of a nearby toll. The CCTV footage is there in this pen drive."

He looked at his boss before continuing.

"Also, the team founded a broken watch near the spot where Madam was found injured."

Aaric grabbed the folder from his secretary's hand. Remo handed the folder obediently and started explaining the situation.

Meanwhile Aaric was looking at the pictures of that incident area in confusion. His mind was messed up.

'This is such an isolated place. Why and how did she reach this place?'

Many questions were popping up in his mind. While he was settling his thoughts and mind, a sound interrupted him. It was Remo's call. He quickly answered the call. On receiving the news from the other side he was shocked. He questioned the person on the other side.

"Are you sure that he is one of his men?"

After getting a confirmation he hung up the call and strode towards his boss.

"Boss, I asked our men to investigate the owner of the watch. It was an expensive watch and was bought under Jones Enterprises. These watches were gifted to Rick Jones's personal bodyguards by him."

Hearing the latter mentioning a particular name Aaric Smith clenched his fists with such a force that the nerves on his hands were about to come on the surface. He narrowed his eyes and ordered his secretary to get that bodyguard of Rick Jones.

'You bastard... I won't let you live your life peacefully. You just wait!' Aaric thought and promised to himself. He will avenge his wife.

After a while he asked him to manage the media in case they receive or they hold any news about his wife's accident.

After getting his orders, he quickly left the hospital and headed to their base while contacting his men to keep a hold on every news about Smith's.

Meanwhile in the hospital after his secretary left, he headed towards the Operation room. He was pacing back and forth outside the room.

Nearly three hours passed but no one came out of the operation room, not even a nurse and that made Aaric Smith more impatient and afraid. His heart clenched while thinking about negative things. He quickly shook his head abruptly and assured himself that she will be fine and no one can snatch her from him, not even death. They both will spend their lifetime together till they get old. Not only this life but in all the lives he'll marry her and love her.

Lost in his thoughts he even cursed himself many times.

'Wifey I am sorry I didn't protect you well. It's all my fault. Wifey please don't punish me by leaving me. I can't live without you. Please punish me as much as you want just don't leave me. Hold on there I am here for you. I am here waiting for you Wifey.'
