1 Their lives

"Mom, do I have to do this? I'm just 16, I'm still training to make a debut and going to school. I don't want to get married." Soo Ah said to her mom as they leave their home.

"Kim Soo Ah, you know this will benefit both family and it's the elder's wishes. You have to do this." Her mom said.

"Okay, but you need to keep this a secret." Soo Ah said

"I've talked to the other family, they have also agree to keep it a secret since their son is in the same situation. You don't have to worry." Her mom reassured her.

"We're here, Mrs. and Ms. Kim," their chauffeur said.

How did Soo Ah and Min Jun ended up in such situations? Well, let's backtrack a little.

Kim Soo Ah was born on May 27th into a middle class family. Kim Soo Ah was originally named Yang Soo Ah but her parents quickly gave her up for adoption after a few days of her birth. They didn't want to take care of a baby; they weren't ready yet. Not long after being abandoned by her parents, she was adopted by a wealthy couple who were unable to have children. Her name was then changed to Kim Soo Ah, following her adoptive father's last name. Soo Ah did not have any memory of her birth parents as she was too young. For 16 years, she grew up thinking that her adoptive parents were her real parents. Like many other only child in a rich family, she was meant to inherit her parents' company. However, thing aren't that simple. Soo Ah has always wanted to perform on stage in a front of a big crowd. She wanted to be an idol. At a very young age, she realized her dream and began taking lessons in hope of getting into a company. Her parents had always been supportive of her dream as they knew, sooner or later, she'll have to take over the company. They wanted her to enjoy the time she has before needing to take over the company. Soo Ah herself knows it too. She know that one day she'll have to take over the family business, that's why she's working so hard right now hoping she could debut and achieve her dream before taking over the company. She does well academically as that was her promise to her parents for letting her follow her dream. When she turned 13, she was scouted by the company she was going to audition at on her way to the audition. Until now, she has been training for 3 years.

Nam Min Jun was born on November 7th into a wealthy family. Like Soo Ah, Min Jun was set to inherit his parents' company. However, Min Jun had never intended to become an idol. He always focused on studying so that when the time come for him to inherit his parents' company, he would be ready. Ever since Min Jun was little, he had always shown interests in books. He liked learning and he was good at it. He would rather stay in door and study than go outside and play with other kids his age. This made his parents worry very much as they thought something was wrong with their son. Many times, they attempted to get Min Jun to try new things that could interest him but he would never agree to try it. Then one day, he was scouted while attending a school event. He was force to go there because the teacher was giving him an assignment about the event. That day, he went home and told his parents about the incident. His parents thought that it was a great idea to let their son try training since it could spark a bit of interest in him. After weeks of nagging him to go, he finally agreed to try it out for a month. Though it was one exhausting month, Min Jun actually found himself liking it a lot. He told his parents he wanted to continue and they were overjoyed. Until now, he has been training for a year.
