Chapter 3: Irrelevant Maths + Training Part 1

A/N: I've updated last chapter in order to show that skills won't have levels, coz imo that's what makes system ff's too complicated for author's therefore causing themselves to get confused.

So dash, bloodlust, and undying willpower will no longer show a level, but have the same description and mana cost still.

Also, if you feel like there's something I'm doing with the system that's TOO op or something, feel free to comment about it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having received the new [Bloodlust] skill through the runestone he attained from the daily mystery box, Yuuto had a smile on his face.

'New skill, nice~ (Joseph style)'

Now that he used up 2 of the 3 daily quest rewards, Yuuto only had his stat points to allocate. 3, to be exact.

'As much as I would love to dump all these stat points into whatever... it would be quite stupid to do so, I think.

Since I have 2 months until the entrance exam, and would have 180 stat points by then, THAT'S when I'll allocate my 180 stat points.

Plus, I don't know if there's another way other than the daily quests to get stat points, so it would be even more stupid of me to spend the hard-earned stat points at this easy stage'

Having finished his smart-gamer thoughts, Yuuto's day proceeded as normal in the hospital room. With the orphan staff and kids visiting, and the daily quest being grinded, a whole week had passed (6 extra Days) and it was time for Yuuto to leave the hospital.

[Status]

Name: Yuuto (No family name)

Level: 1

Class: None

Title: None

HP: 300->340

MP: 15

[Stats]

Strength: 15 -> 18

Vitality: 15 -> 17

Agility: 15 -> 16

Intelligence: 15

Sense: 15

(Available Points to Distribute: 3->21)

Fortunately, there in fact was a way to increase the stat points another way.

Though difficult, by doubling the daily quest goal (200 and 20km), Yuuto would get a stat point allocated in a random stat.

Whilst 4 stat points a day felt quite OP in Yuuto's eyes in the beginning, he then realised there were people like All Might, Endeavor, and this 'All For One' guy.

In his mind, Yuuto calculated that people like those could take on 100 guys (quirkless) super-duper easily. And by doing the maths there, with the average base stat being 10:

10x5 (Each stat) = 50 stat points total for one 'normal, healthy quirkless adult'. 50 x 100= 5000 stat points total.

Though the hypothesis/power scaling may be theoretically wrong, Yuuto couldn't even begin to fathom the day he would have 5000 stat points. Like seriously, by doing the daily quests ONLY, it would take 1250 days for him to have that many, that's about 4 years give or take.

[User is thinking too much into it]

[Please do not think that you can use logic and maths with something like this system. The scaling between the system and the world are different.]

[Though you will need a lot of stat points in order to compare to the likes of All Might and other heroes, definitely not 5000 as that is quite impossible with the amount of time you have until 'All For One' makes his entry]

[Also, don't forget about the 'Skills' section. This is what truly makes you different from the rest, not the stat points individually]

And with this, all the maths and logic were thrown out the window and Yuuto wanted to swing.

[Focus purely on doing quests and making yourself stronger, that is what the system does for the 'Player']

"Aye, Aye, captain..." Yuuto muttered sarcastically.

Shortly after, a nurse entered the room and gave permission for Yuuto to leave the hospital.

Arriving back at the orphanage, Yuuto was surrounded by all the kids who were giggling and cuddling him.

Looking at his inventory, Yuuto saw he had 6 mystery boxes thanks to the daily quests.

'I could save them as well, why not' he thought nonchalantly.

With a 53 days left until the UA entrance exam, Yuuto had nothing on his mind except for getting stronger, and smarter, until then.

And with that, his training arc began.

- 1 Week later (46 days left) - training stat points

HP: 340 -> 660

MP: 15 -> 25

[Stats]

Strength: 18 -> 20 -> 30

Vitality: 17 -> 18 -> 33

Agility: 16 -> 23

Intelligence: 15 -> 18 -> 25

Sense: 15 -> 16 -> 18

(Available Points to Distribute: 21->42)

Walking around outside, Yuuto looked at his stats after the first week of his training.

With the extra stat points from the daily quests, his sense, intelligence, vitality and strength all gained one stat point minimum.

After the daily quest stat points, there were the stat points from extra training. On the first 5 days of the week, he spent one day for each stat. On the weekend, he would do a bit of everything.

Raising each stat was obviously done differently:

- Strength was raised by doing strength based workouts such as weights, etc.

- Vitality was raised by simply pushing yourself to the max. This was quite easy to increase due to an exploit Yuuto figured out.

Due to vitality increasing over time, the daily quests would be done easier and quicker, and use up less stamina. Therefore, Yuuto would not need to use the [Full Recovery] reward, and was able to save it. By pushing himself until he nearly broke, he gained the points from that, then used [Full Recovery], then repeat.

- Agility was raised by doing speed drills such as running on a treadmill, or whatever else.

- Intelligence was raised by gaining new knowledge and understanding it to the required amount in order for the system to give the point.

- Sense was the hardest one in Yuuto's opinion. He didn't fully know how to raise it, or how he got 15 in the first place. But what he did was use a blindfold to cover his eyes, and then use something similar to a 'sixth sense' in order to dodge moving obstacles.

Along with the stat points, the amount of mystery boxes raised from 6 to 13.

And with that, other than some new skills which Yuuto gained, that was practically the end of the first week of training.

Now, system and training aside, Yuuto was currently walking around town with some groceries that the orphan staff asked for, to which Yuuto happily agreed to help with.

Walking along the sidewalk with the groceries, Yuuto's 'senses' reacted strangely, which in turn caused his head to turn to the left, in which he saw a hooded villain towering over 2 middle school girls.

"Where's the Springer Hero Agency?" The hooded figure's deep, husky voice asked impatiently.

'Seriously? In broad daylight, and here? Is he mentally retarded?'

A/N: The reason for the quite-slow pace and what looks like filler is so that the story isn't too fast paced and so that I can get suggestions for skills and mystery box things- :)

Next chapter will be same pace/slightly quicker, and chapter after that OR the one after that one, will be UA.
