I really don't know why I'm treating her that way. I don't know why I always treat her like I don't care, I don't know why I'm giving her cold treatments, expressionless face and a serious attitude. This is not me...
The real me is the happy, expressive and prankster Jeonghan... What did she do to me? to become like this?
"Yah! I'm talking to you! I said what genre do you like?" Sowon asked, pissed because I wasn't paying attention to her. "Sorry, anything will do" I said. We're here at our dorm and we really do bonding with them at least once a month or if we do have time and we don't have any schedule
"Oppa's spacing out means Oppa's thinking of someone" SinB teased "Ohhh tell us! tell us!" Yerin teased too. I shook my head "Think whatever you wanna think" I said they all laughed at me and SinB and Yerin started to think and predict who's the girl but they don't know Angel so... They can't tell
Wait... Why am I even thinking of her while Sowon is here? Sowon is the girl a like so I should take advantage of this situation for us to be more close. Maybe she'll realize that... I'm always here for her
"Hyung! where's Joshua hyung?" Dino asked "I'm gonna borrow his guitar" he added "In my room" I said. he nodded and went inside my room where Joshua is. He's sleeping there, I know
"Yah! SinB, you're just going to choose one movie! What's taking you so long?" Seungkwan said while SinB's holding the remote and searching some movies
"Wait" he said. Woozi sighed "We ate all of our popcorns because you're so slow" Woozi complaint
We all looked at the door when we heard it rang "Yah! open the door" SinB said to Seungkwan
"Why me? Scoups hyung should because he's the leader" Seungkwan pointed to Scoups "Mingyu-ya open the door" Scoups said to Mingyu "What? Why would I?" Mingyu asked "Because I'm the eldest so you should obey me"Scoups said "Hoshi open the door"Mingyu pointed at Hoshi. Hoshi made a face and pointed Vernon. Before he could talk and ask Vernon, Sowon cutted them off
"Stop! I'm gonna open it!" she said and stood up. "SinB, please faster" Seungkwan complaint again.
Hoshi stood up "Sowon noona? Who's there?" He asked and went to the door to see who came "Angel! Come in!" Hoshi exclaimed. Seungkwan stood up as he hears Angel's name. Angel's here?
"What brings you here?" Hoshi asked as they're walking towards us. I looked at her and he look like she's going on a date with her outfit. She looked shock when she saw Gfriend members.
She suddenly looked at me so I looked at her expressionless so that I can hide my nervousness. I don't know why but my heart starts to skip a beat
"A-ah. Is Joshua oppa around?" she asked. She's looking for Joshua? Don't tell me they're going on a date? I secretly shook my head and tried erasing what I thought. Hoshi nodded and called Joshua
"Are you going somewhere?" Scoups asked. I looked at her, waiting for her answer "We're gonna record the song" She answered. I felt calmed as she said that. The're just going to record her song
"Then you should bring Woozi" Vernon said "No it's okay, seems like you're gonna do something" She said and smiled shyly, looking at the girls
"No it's okay, I think that's important. You can borrow them" Sowon said and smiled. Hays that's why I like her, she's kind and thoughtful
"Borrow?! We're not things!" Seungkwan exclaimed "But unnie, its our bonding together. This only happens once a month" SinB said
"Don't listen to her. It must be important. We can still bond with the others" she shook both of her hands on what Yerin said "No, I only need Joshua oppa" she said that made me looked at her. What is she saying?!
She only need Joshua?!
I knot my forehead. She?! needs Joshua?! What about me?
Joshua came out from my room, holding a black cardigan. I looked at him from head to toe and noticed something. Angel wore black for her top and white pants and a black shoes while Joshua wore white for his top, black pants and black shoes.
"I know you're gonna wear that. Wear this" Joshua said and handed her the black cardigan he's holding. Wait. Since when did he changed his clothes? When he went inside my room, he's wearing a simple shirt and a jogging pants
"What's the point of my outfit? This is what you called fashion" she said and rolled her eyes. I smiled. that's so her
"Fashion fashion. Can you call that fashion when you can get sick wearing that?" He said seriously. Is he concern?
"Ey c'mon just wear it" Hoshi said. she rolled her eyes before getting it from Joshua's hand and wore it. Joshua smiled and he caress her hair. She just gave him a sarcastic smile and rolled her eyes again. I smiled again, she look cute
"We'll go now" He said and put his arm around her and dragged her. She bowed before he completely dragged her. I sighed.. I want to do that to her too
"Finally!" Seungkwan exclaimed when SinB already chose a movie and we started watching
Around 9pm when I heard our main door opened and Joshua came in. My forehead formed a knot. What he doing here? he lives downstairs "Why?" I asked because he looked worried
"It's just that. Angel didn't want me to wait for her or pick her up later. I don't know but I'm worried. I feel like there's something going to happen" He said and caress his head
"Ey I don't think so. What took you so long to come home?" I asked. They went out around 4pm and came back 9pm. What took them so long?!
"We went to the Amusement park. Oh wait. Can you charge it first? Angel told me she's gonna text me so I need to charge my phone. I'll just take a bath downstairs and come back later" He said and handed me his phone before he went outside.
I opened his phone and check his battery percentage. 15%. I shook my head. He never knows how to charge his phone. I looked at his lock screen wallpaper when I noticed something
It's him and Angel. I guess they took this earlier based on their clothes. They went to Seoul Land? Joshua was looking at her while Angel was looking at the camera with a finger heart. I entered his phone's password and saw his wallpaper. It's him and Angel again but now, they're looking at each other
I went to his gallery and saw all of their photos earlier. Most of the picture was stolen shots of Angel while she's walking, eating and looking somewhere
I sighed.. This should be me... But I chose to be with Sowon.
I regre- wait. Why would I regret? Sowon is the girl I like in the first place so why would I regret bonding with her? I charged his phone and placed it above the table
Hours passed and Joshua didn't came back. Did he fall asleep? It's already 11:30 pm and I'm sleepy but I'm waiting him to get his phone, it's already full battery. He said he'll come back so I' waiting but hours past and he didn't even show his shadow
I looked at my phone when I heard it notif, same with Joshua's phone. I opened his phone and saw Angel texted him. I opened the message and read it

Oppa, help! the cab I'm riding took me the wrong way. He turned left instead of Right. Help m.

I stood up upon reading the message. I checked my phone and got the same message. I went to our dorm downstairs and saw Joshua, watching a movie with the other members
"Joshua!" I shouted, nervous and let him see Angel's text. He stood up in shock too and the other members looked at us, clueless
"What's happening?" Scoups asked
"Angel's in danger. Hyung, we'll go for now" Joshua said and picked his cardigan, hanging at the sofa "WHAT?!" Mingyu asked, shock
"I want to come!" they all said. I shook my head and looked at Joshua, nodding
We immediately went outside, without answering their questions. We closed the door so that they can't come with us, headed on the parking lot and drove as fast as I could
"She said the driver turned left instead of right" I said "I know where it is" Joshua said and told me the way. We stop at an empty road with bushes in the road's side. It looks like a farm.
I heard sobs, I know it's Angel. I picked the thick wood and hardly smashed it to the man who's on top of Angel. She sat on the ground while hugging herself. I can see scared and disgusted, written on her face. My heart soften. She doesn't deserve this.. No one deserves this...
"Angel!" Joshua came, running towards us. He sat in front of her and hugged her. He whispered something but I can't hear it. He took off his cardigan and covered it to her. I wanna hug her too but I just stood there, watching them.
Inside the van, I can hear her cry. I looked at Joshua and he looked at me too with a worried face. I just focused on driving and stop the van in front of her apartment's building
"Pack some of your stuff. You're gonna live with us for a while so you're safe"
She went with Joshua to get her important stuff. I just stayed here while waiting them. I can't forget her face earlier. She's really scared.
I sighed. I felt my heart aches as I saw her in my imagination, hugging Joshua while crying. While watching them earlier, all I remember was.... feeling hurt
"I'm really okay" Angel whispered. We're inside the elevator and we're all quiet so we easily heard what she said "Don't lie" I said. I remember her scared face earlier.... After seeing that face, all I want to do is to protect her
"Angel... It's okay.... We're here" Joshua said, caressing her back. When we got inside our dorm, all of our members are there, waiting. They all went to her and hugged her.
"Are you okay?" Seungkwan asked, nearly to cry. He's one of Angel's close and I can tell that he's really worried. "Ofcourse oppa, don't need to worry" She lied. I know it's a lie.
Everyone agreed to watch a movie but all this time, I only watched Angel, sitting beside Joshua. In the middle of the movie, she leaned her head on Joshua's shoulder. Joshua wrapped his arm on her shoulder and caress her shoulder and Angel fell asleep.
After the movie, Joshua decided to bring her inside my room. He lift her up and bring her in my room. I followed them and I saw Joshua, placing Angel on my bed. He tapped my shoulder before going out.
I took a towel inside my cabinet and dipped it on water. I wiped it at her face and arms. After wiping her, I stared at her face. She looks innocent.... She looks like an Angel...
Angel...
I smiled. Her name fits her. I stood up and about to walk outside but he held my hand. I looked at her and I saw tears, falling down her face
"No.. pleasee.."
I sat back down as I caress her hand."Please don't leave... I'm scared.... I'm scared being alone... Stay.. Please" I decided to wake her up and shake her. Seems like she's having a nightmare.
"ANGEL!" I said, stood up and shake her body to wake her up. She open her eyes and another tears fell down again. She sat down the bed and dragged me to sit down before she hugged me.
"Don't leave... I'm scared" She whispered, trying to control her sobs but I still can hear her. I caress her back and said "Shh don't think over much. We won't leave you"
I won't leave you....
From now on, I'll stay by your side.....
"Can you stay here to sleep? I really can't" I nodded. She laid down the bed again and closed her eyes. I caress her hair many times to calm her. I wish it's working though
I can still see tears so I decided to sing a song to calm her....
The next days, Angel become busy. She always go to the building again to train while we alternate who's gonna fetch her and bring her to school and what-so-ever, just to be sure of her safety.
"We're actually planning yo form a girl group. In front of you are the papers of our trainees" The CEO said and pointed the folder in front of us. We're having a meeting with the CEO, board members, artist and some important people for us to discuss about the evaluation tomorrow. I opened the folder and saw Angel's profile there
"This is Angel- trainee. She's training here for 2 weeks and she's from the Philippines" the CEO said as Angel's profile and some pictures flashed in the monitor
"We actually invited her to be our trainee and she's currently studying at SOPA. Based on my opinion, I really want her to debut as one of this girl group we're making. Here's a clip, showing off her talents" He said and played a video, it is a compilation of everything Angel can do.
"She can sing and dance ofcourse. she knows how to rap in english and she knows how to speak 3 languages- Tagalog, English and Korean which is very useful when going abroads. She's a fast learner too" he said and a video played again. The video is from the CCTV inside the practice room. It's in time lapse and she's just sitting there, watching something form her phone and then, she began to dance the song she's watching earlier.
Wow... That's amazing!
Everyone clapped and looked impressed. The CEO introduce other girl trainees too and everyone listened as he introduce them. I saw the girls who hates Angel and the CEO said earlier that they have the most trainee years here.
I raised my hand and the CEO looked at me and nod, giving me the permission to speak "You said that personally, you like Angel to debut as one of the other girl trainees. I just thought that maybe we can debut her as a solo artist?" I asked. Everyone whispered at each other and my members looked at me too
"Actually, this trainees Jangmi, Chungja and Dahyee, always bully Angel so if you're planning to debut Angel with these girls, isn't she going to have a hard time?" I said. The CEO nodded
"What proof can you provide so we can trust you?" He asked. "You can ask my members and check some of the CCTV footage. We always hear them, talking bad about Angel so I don;t think it's a good idea to debut them in one group. It's either you debut Angel as a solo group or debut the girls without Angel?" I challenged. I'm actually scared and nervous talking to the CEO but he need to know what's happening
"Me CEO, I heard them talking bad things to Angel and I heard Angel, crying secretly because of what others are saying to her" Seungkwan said, politely
"Angel? I always hear that name" Ren said "Isn't she the one other trainees are talking about?" Aaron said
"If that's the case, then let's vote. Raise your hands if you want to release a girl group?" some of the people rose their hands. The CEO nodded "Raise your hands if you want to release a solo artist?" We, seventeen rose our hands, as long as Nu'est sunbaenim and Bumzu hyung and the other people too
"Think of it, if we release a solo girl artist, It would be a bighit since we only have 2 active boy groups" one of the PD said.
"If Jeonghan's saying was true, then this trainees should learn some nice attitude" said one of the board members
"How about lets run some test to see their attitude? Like hidden camera?" Ren suggested and i saw the people, nodding
The CEO nodded "Okay, it's settle but that doesn't mean Angel will debut. We still need to see their performances and decide things with the Bighit labels. Meeting adjourned"
