If you’re looking to read a game novel, this ain’t it chief. Honestly, when I was reading this novel, it seemed like the author just woke up one day after a long night of partying, hungover and still a bit drowsy. A lightbulb suddenly lit up in their head, their brain was telling them, ‘Hey! Why don’t you write a novel, a game novel’. And so they did, they slowly got up from the cold hard floor littered with red plastic cups and empty beer bottles, dragging their body over to their computer, they started to type away, completely unaware of the bits of mysterious white powder covering the area around their nose. They started by writing down whatever cliches they could think of, and they made the protagonist and the antagonists while they were at it. The protagonist is fine for the most part, but the antagonists are on another level of stupid, as if the only thought in their mind is steal and loot gear, basically just throw-away villains. So then the author kept clacking away on their keyboard with their fingers coated with a nice layer of cheeto dust. Still hungover, the author couldn’t think clearly at all, their head was throbbing so using their arms as a pillow, they slowly relaxed and drifted off to the land of dreams. In there, they saw a mini version of themselves holding a mini shovel. The mini author begin to dig holes in the feild that was labled ‘the plot’. And after digging god knows how many holes, the mini author left and came back shortly after, this time holding a few signs in their hands. They planted the signs near the holes, one for each, and marked them as ‘plot hole 1’, ‘plot hole 2’, ‘plot hole 3’ and so on. The author then woke up and after adding a few more details to their novel, they slowly admired it, thinking to themselves, ‘Boy have I created a masterpiece’, then promptly hit ‘publish’.
oh boy... this one's a case of where the packaging looks decent but you take a bite and you get a mouth full of sawdust... In the first chapter it says he made a guild together with a friend who then later betrayed him in his first life. Not only does said friend never show up in the early chapters, the MC proceeds to narrate that he never joined a Guild in his last life a few chapters in. Like hello? I know you just slapped a few cliches together and called it a novel but at least keep your facts straight jesus...
Mc gets gold finger and starts an era of face slapping and being a great god of players(ofc he don't need to do anything gold finger nd plot armor do it all for him...). TQ; its ok 5/5 SoU: its new novel 5/5 SD: its just face slaping and gold finger 2/5 CD: what character... its just book about op gold finger and awed girls(in first 7chapter you can see childhood friend and loli). 2/5 WB: what world building... other then a new gold finger its just boring like all other low quality novels of this kind. 2/5
I havent read much just about 5-7 chapters, but some parts doesnt make sense. 1st in the story he chooses ranger, but he has a blade slash ability instead of something bow related. 2nd the story says that rangers have high damage and high speed, but he only got two points in agility when he leveled up twice and he was getting 5 stats for his vitality which Rangers are suppose to be weak in. So unless he can assign stat points, this is pretty weird to say the least. Another reason could be that one point of agility weighs more than one point in vitality.(Like the bonus is more significant)
Garbage... You can tell that the Author didn’t want to put any real effort into making this novel. I gave up after 12 chapters. Personally, i could rant all day on this novel and still need another week before I reach a point of having nothing left to complain about. Waste of my time. Don’t waste yours. P.S. - You’ll probably find some of my paragraph notes if you decide to read, even after my warning.
almost zero world explaining, just feels rushed . the writing is horrible on god I can't read this without spitting out mouthful of blood every couple sentences too hard to read just feels like mtl I have read only 5 chapters and I still don't understand where he is at or how he got there skips way too much detail.....
After reading through some reviews I thought that maybe just maybe this story wasn't that bad. Yeah, no. Everyone has been correct in what they have said thus far. This novel is just outright not good. Even if you ignore the idiotic main character the author just forgets basic details about their own story. Not to mention the translation is MTL so it's mediocre at best. Combine those 3 details together and you have yourself a below average novel.
