56 Chapter 56: First and Last Homeroom

The group entered the large lecture room and were surprised by the size. While they were expecting a small classroom that could barely fit 30, the room could easily fit 300 students at once.

But after taking their seats and waiting for about half an hour, it seemed that only a third of the seats were full.

Soon, a bell was heard being rung. A mature and curvaceous succubus walked into the room wearing the standard teacher's outfit although it seemed as if her clothes were a size or 2 too small and she had half the buttons of her shirt undone.

"Welcome everyone to class S" she greeted in a cheery voice. The response she got was mostly dull though.

It was not that all demons were serious and boring but with her style of dress, she had earned to the lustful but distracted looks of most of the male students while 70% of the remaining students looked at her in disdain and disgust.

The remaining few were indifferent and the ones who greeted her. They did not care what the teacher dressed or acted like as long as she was able to properly teach them.

"My name is Alvar. I might become some of your teachers but only if you take advanced classes in seduction or carnal related classes. Of all the teachers, I'm the undisputed best haha"

She got a small round of applause from some students who were eager to join her classes and hope to get some personal experience with her skills.

"But everyone in this room, I will be your guidance counselor for your time at the academy. I will be in charge of helping you with matters related to which classes to take, the best classes to get to a certain path or career, and similar topics.

Anything related to classes in general, and I'm your demon. If I am unable to help you, I will try to find you a more experienced student or a teacher related to the topic or classes you are interested in to help you."

Mordred and his group nodded at that. They knew the way classes were structured and that there was no need for a homeroom teacher so they were curious about the so-called 'Class S'.

Seeing everyone understood what she was talking about, Alvar moved on to the next topic that she needed to cover before she allowed the demons to pick their classes.

"Now that you all understand that, I need to go over some things about the school, how classes and credits work, how to graduate, etc.

I know some of you have been informed through connections or through your family but I still have to go over everything. First are classes and credits as well as the [Contract] spell.

The school is based on credits, not years. Can take anywhere between 3 and 20 years to graduate. Well, 3 is just the estimate if someone focuses on nothing but graduating and not learning as much as they could.

Demons immediately gain the [Contract] spell if they are SS rank like our famous 9 sitting in the middle or after you have accumulated 20 credits which are usually collected by the second year if you are not stupid or lazy.

The [Contract] spell will bind 2 willing parties in a master/servant or boss/subordinate relationship and can sustain up to 10 servants/subordinates from a single master/boss. Once the contract is established, it is permanent and does not break even in death. The subordinate will obey all orders given by the boss/master.

You guys can contract other demons or dark beings but most demons are unwilling to be another demon's slave. Also, if both of you have the contract skill, you share the same 10 contract slots.

Next, we will discuss the Dark Beings and their uses as well as their place in the academy unless they are Rankers.

Beings are considered as a Dark Being if they work for demons or their race has been rejected by the others for various reasons. Such as most elves considering dark eleven impure so they had been pushed to the position of a dark race or half breeds who are looked down on by other races.

Dark Beings are only allowed to basic classes and a max of 3 classes per semester until they have contracted with a demon or have attended the academy for 5 years. This is to ensure loyalty and that we do not allow traitors to gain sensitive information.

In the latter case, they will graduate and either join the army or make a living on their own while the former results in the Dark Being following under the demon they contracted with and shall only take classes that demon allows them to.

This school has student teams. These are formed between 3-4 demons and used to take on missions or when having to complete certain classes.

Let's also discuss the purpose of the academy for a moment. It is not too hard or difficult to understand. It has 3 main purposes:

1. For demons and dark beings to have a chance to gain skills naturally in a safe environment and knowledge that may be forbidden to them in any other circumstance.

2. To gain loyal subordinates for demons to rely on throughout their lives as well as allow the young demons to network and build connections as well as allow dark beings a chance to flourish.

3. To test the young members of their races and weed out the weak or useless. Even an S rank demon is useless to the race if they are too stupid and only end up endangering the rest of their forces or family.

The last thing we will discuss is the Rankers. Rankers are the 500 strongest members of the school. We do not consider the year or race of the Rankers but just their strength.

Strength is determined by a person's rank in the school dungeon. It keeps track of how deep a student goes and how many enemies they are able to kill.

To become a ranker, some must be able to reach the 4th floor at least. This may sound easy compared to other dungeons, but each floor has an upper limit of increasing hundreds while ranks also start to slowly increase.

So the 1st-floor final enemies will be level 100, 2nd is level 200, 3rd level 300, and so on and so on. There are 10 floors in total and the current record for most floors completed while a student is 7 floors.

Our current number 1 ranker is still stuck on the 5th floor and they are one of the top combat specialists the school has seen who have not been an SS rank."

Alvar looked around to ensure that her words had sunk into everyone. She flashed a seductive smile at them when she saw some come out of their contemplation.

"Since you all understand that, let us begin with choosing classes.

You should see a small blue card placed in front of you. Drop some blood on it and it will be your student ID as well as what you will choose your classes with as well as enter the dungeon and show your status as a student to the outside world."
