1.15 Genius of the century

News of Blake's 7th circle spread far and wide throughout the capital. It was the first time in the empire's history, that a child barely even the age of 7 had awoken their 7th circle. By then, Blake was deemed "the genius of the century."

Meanwhile, Blake was still in his bed with a high fever. Blake's mother diagnosed it as stress fever, having feeling extreme pain that not even full-grown adults could bear. Both of his parents were very proud of him, having to go through it at such a young age. Even the duchess, who usually put on an indifferent facade had a look of pride whenever talking about Blake to the other noble ladies at tea parties.

As Blake lied back down on his bed after his meal, he sighed and lifted his hand towards the ceiling. 'Maybe it's time for me to learn to cast actual spells,' he thought as he stared at the back of his palm.

Blake sat up in his bed and stared at the crystal dice he got last year during his birthday. Flora thought it would look cool with Blake, and so, she bought them for him. He took it into his hands and rolled it a few times in his small palm. In his hands, it looked quite big, but in actuality, it was only the same size as normal dice you would find in stores.

Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. He conjured up his mana into his palm, surrounding it with the dice as the white crystal dice shone a light blue light. Thinking nothing of it, he threw the pair of dice onto his bedside table and watched as it tumbled. One of the dice stopped on the number 5 while the other on 6.

Suddenly, vines shot up from the ground, intertwining themselves with the furniture, creating a messy forest inside Blake's room. His face held the same cold and aloof expression as before, but he was still impressed. I mean, who wouldn't? Yeah, he destroyed his whole room, yeah but still.

With a sigh, he leaned back and landed on the headboard. 'How should I explain this to the duke and duchess...' he thought as he gazed at his messy room with a complicated expression.

"I'm impressed, you did great, son," The duke said with a smile as he pats Blake's head. Of course, as a man who didn't have much talent in magic and instead relies on his swordsmanship, he was impressed to great heights.

"You could've brought this outside..." the duchess mumbled as a small pout could be seen. Blake chuckled, seeing the duchess's antics. "Well, what you did was very impressive. You deserve my praise,"

"Thank you, duke, duchess," Blake smiled and accepted their compliments.

"My liege, the young master's new room is ready," Milford said with a bow.

"Alright, we'll move him to the new room now," the duke nodded to the butler, signalling the old butler to pick Blake up. In which, Blake caught on and rushed to his feet instead.

Milford, who wanted to pick Blake up: ...

The duke: ...

Blake: Ha! You thought!

"Brother Blake! Your room is right next to mine now!" Flora exclaimed happily, skipping through the hall as a smaller figure followed behind her.

"Bwother! Bwother!" exclaimed a small voice behind Flora.

Behind her, was a toddler with bright yellow eyes and blue-tinted silver hair running towards Blake on his short stubby legs. Blake's face brightened a little as he saw his siblings run up to him with such enthusiasm.

"Hello, Flora, Sebastian, seems like we're room neighbours now," Blake smiled and patted his little brother's head and leaving a small kiss on Flora's forehead. All three children giggled happily as they walked inside Blake's new room.

"Brother, I heard you destroyed your room. Did you really?" Flora asked, jumping onto Blake's bed after helping the little Sebastian up. Blake chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.

"It's better if I show you, instead. Let's go to the garden," Blake invited and hopped off the bed before carrying Sebastian in his arms.

Blake seems to be a really talented little lad, doesn't he? I'm so proud of him (つ﹏<。)
