Christine did not know if she will stay in touch with this guy or not but she still nodded her head. David left her cubicle after waving her Goodbye.

Three years back, David and Christine had joined this project on the same day. David is part of the Support team in this project and Christine works as a developer. They used to have lunch together in the initial days. However, David was asked to work in 24/7 shifts. One month, he would work in the morning shift, Next month afternoon and then night shift. Their team has a rotation plan for every resource. Night shift resources often complained about poor health after constantly working in night shifts so the team had created a rotation plan.

David and Christine could meet each other only when David was working in Day shifts. This month, David was working in the afternoon shift. He had heard about Christine's on-site trip from someone but Christine had left office by that time. Today, He came a little bit early than his usual shift start time. He was genuinely happy for her. He was considering her more than a friend. However, Christine was only considering him as a good friend. She knew that it would hurt him if she told him the truth but she can't remain in an ambiguous relationship with him. She had no feelings for him, So she made it clear to him today.

Christine had wasted a lot of time in the morning due to Slap incident. She still had to fill many documents for her work permit process. When it was Lunchtime, Sandra came to call her for Lunch but Christine asked her to not wait for her. Christine finished filling up her information on all documents, took them with her to Global travel team. They uploaded in the portal and approved them for her. They wanted her to confirm her departure date with On-site coordinator So that they can book her travel tickets and temporary accommodation.

Global travel desk team was off work for the lunch break. Christine thought of finishing her lunch during this time. She had ordered Chicken Spanish garlic soup and Chicken schezwan fried rice for lunch. When she reached Cafeteria, it was past lunch hour. She finished her lunch rather quickly and went to meet Mark but he was not in his Cabin. She found his number on her cellphone and called him.

"Sorry Mark, Did I disturb you? Just now, I went to your cabin but you were not there."

"Christine, I am in the meeting. Can we talk later?"

" No issues, Mark. I will come later."

Half an hour later, Mark came to Christine's workstation.

" Hey, were you looking for me?"

"Yeah, Mark. Global travel team wanted to know my departure date for booking my air tickets and to make other arrangements."

"Why don't you call Sam and check with him? Call him on Skype."

"Then, I will call him now. Thank you, Mark."

"No problem. Call me if you need anything else."

Christine was looking for an excuse to avoid calling Sam. That's why she had thought of getting her departure date from Mark. Hehe, How could Mark is not aware of her departure date? He was creating an opportunity for Sam to have some conversation with his lady love.

Reluctantly, Christine sent a message to Sam on Skype.

"Hi Sam, is it a good time to call you on Skype?"

"Hello Christine, I am heading out for lunch.

Why don't I call you on the Cell phone? Give me your number please."

You have her number for ages. Do you have to pretend to not have her phone number, Cletan internally rolled his eyes at Sam. This guy is too shameless. Christine texted him her phone number.

"I will call you in a few minutes."Sam locked his laptop and started walking towards the Lobby.

"Let's take your car. I can't drive while talking on the phone."He said to Cletan. Cletan and Sam took an elevator to get Cletan's car from the basement. They were going to nearby Restaurant for Lunch today.
