4 THREE

The time went by pretty fast. It was dark a while ago and now the sun was shining so bright outside. Since it's already day time and I'm not even tried, I decided to walk around the camp. I needed to make myself familiar of this place, so if ever I wanted to sneak out of any activities, I would know where I should go. No one would find me by then, I hope so though.

"Hey where are going?" A female voice said. Not her again. Please, can you please not bother me? Mind your own business. I want to be alone and I do not want to talk to anyone right now.

"Going out." I quickly respond without looking behind and proceed to opening the cabin door.

"Can I come along?" She asked. No. No. No. "Hey, I'm talking to you." She added and spun me to face her.

"It's up to you to hang out with a girl like me."

"Well, I'm going to hang out with you. Whether you like it or not." She said. "You know, Samantha, I'm not an awful person."

"I know. You seem nice but I just want to be alone." I said. "And why do you bother to hang out with me? You are here for a reason. For one reason: to meet and hang out with your favorite celebrities, they're going to be here, you know." I turned around and exited the cabin. I didn't want to be in this conversation.

"Basically, I did not want to be here. Besides, I've seen a couple familiar faces but not those that I fancy or are interested to mingle with." She said as she followed me out of the cabin. Please just leave me alone. "My twin sister begs me to accompany her in the camp."

"Are you sure? And where is she?" I thought I was the only one not wanting to be in this camp. Well, maybe I would be able to have a friend after all. *smiles* NOT! Never in a million years! Though I should not be saying that.

"I'm hundred and one percent sure." She remarked. "She's in her cabin, I think."

"Why aren't you in one cabin?"

"I asked the organizer if we can be in a separate cabin. To be honest, she's my twin but we never get along, never in a million years."

"Oh. Okay." I simply said and continued walking. As we continued walking in silence, I noticed that our cabin was not near the main area of the camp. It was far, far behind.

"You really sure that that's your reason?" I wasn't satisfied of her reason yet.

"That's the truth."

"Oh…really?" I was still unconvinced.

"Yes." She responds. "Why don't you believe me?"

Should I tell her my reason?

I don't know. I think I cannot trust her that early. I just met her hours ago and besides, I cannot trust people once they know who I truly am.

However, she could be trustworthy; she does not seem to be awful, not judging her by her hair or appearance but the vibes I get from her. Maybe I could tell her, since she would be my roommate for the next two whole months. She'll be the only one that would be right there for me.

If she really cares for me though.

Oh well, I should ask her questions first before I tell her my reason.

"Hey Samantha, are you still here?" she snapped me back to reality.

"Sam. Just call me Sam. Samantha is really long and I don't really like that name." I said. Well, better start now. "Alexandra, just one question?"

"What is it?"

"Can I trust you?"

"Of course. You can trust me with anything." She stated.

"Well, I despise being in this camp, Alexandra."

"Are you kidding me, Sam?" she reacts. "Just call me Alex. Why?"

"I don't want to be in this camp but I'm forced to be here." I said. She had a confused look on her face, so I continued explaining to her. I explained the reason why I did not want to be in this camp, who wanted me to be here. I told her everything she needed to know, since I could trust her. Right?

I hope it was enough for her to understand. But if not, I do not want to explain any further, not with who my parents are and how in famous they are.

"Really?" she reacted. "I didn't know that."

Obviously, you do not know that. How would you know if we never even met before, until now?

"So, you would be like forcing yourself to be here. Just like me." she said. "Though, I want to meet my favorite celebrities and musicial also. But I never planned to be in this camp."

Well, that came out of nowhere. It's true that she wants to meet her idols. However, it is not completely her reason or is it?

"Not really. I'm not planning on joining any activities in camp. I'll just sneak out."

"What? I've heard the activities here would be really awesome and beyond fun."

"Oh…But I'm not really into having fun in this camp. I want to be alone and fun free."

While in a conversation, that I did not even plan to have, we finally reached the main area of the camp. And I could see the quadrangle that Angela told me about earlier.

This camp is huge, making it really easy for me to get away from the activities. And for sure they would not find me. YEAH.

"Sam, you have me. We can be good friends. You don't have to hide to get away from anything fun."

"I don't know, Alex. I think, I can't cope with all the people I'm not a person that everyone likes." I said frowning, at the same time looking at the ground. I am someone who people use because of how famous my parents are.

Alex and I still continued going around camp and we were still in a conversation. Well, I enjoyed being in her company and talking to her. Weird. I never really enjoy talking to anyone I just meet.

But I am quite annoyed that she would not stop convincing me to join the activities and not hide.

So to make her stop, I just told her that I am going to join the first activity. If I like it I would continue on the other activities. If I would not enjoy it, she would no longer bother me and she will just leave me alone and let get away from any more activities.

I'm still not into joining activities. I just have to say that in order for her to stop bugging me with it. If I was asked to join an activity or something else, I'd like to join if Mum, Dad or even Matthew would be there. But here in camp neither the three of them is around. It's only me and those celebrities.

I looked at my wrist watch. It's already 9 am. Well, I got out of out cabin like at 6 then started walking around camp and talking to Alex. Well that solves it. Once I looked up, since us both stopped walking and talking, I saw a very familiar cabin. The cabins in this camp have different structures, sizes and designs. Some have a two-story cabin, and I think celebs are housing those kinds of cabins. That is unique and really nice for them to give variations to this boring place.

It is our cabin. The camp is huge but it only took us more or less 3 hours to go around the camp. We were just going in circles and I did not notice it. I guess that's what happens when you are actually trying to enjoy it.

Both of us got inside the cabin and took a shower. She went first since there was only one bathroom in our cabin. I waited for her to finish. Once she was through, she got dressed and I did not bother to know what she was wearing. I just entered the bathroom immediately.

I badly want to get myself clean since I feel so unclean and I might not notice it but maybe I might smell awful. Once I was done taking a warm and relaxing shower, I got out and found Alex curling her natural ginger hair. Still wrapped with my towel, I went to my luggage and placed it on top of my bed. I grab the case that I packed on my own. I opened it and grabbed my favorite grey tee and my favorite khaki pedal. I got my undergarments and proceed to the bathroom to get changed. Once I was fully dressed, I got out and slipped the sneakers I wore earlier to my feet. It's my favorite sneakers, a worn out red converse, so fancy, Imma right? I will just unpack my things tonight. I do not feel like unpacking at the moment.

"Hey Sam, are you done?" Alex asked. I turned to look at her; she was just about to unplug her curling iron. She looks really beautiful with her hair in curls. But she also looks beautiful in her natural straight hair.

"Just going to tie my hair." I pointed out.

I finger combed my hair and tied it up in a messy bun.

"Okay, I'm done."

"Let's go. We have to be at the cafeteria early so by 12 we can be at the quadrangle for start of the opening ceremony." Alex remarked. I looked at the wall clock above our door. It reads: 10:00. I nodded and followed her out the cabin. As usual, it took us awhile to get to the cafeteria.

When we got there it was already filled with people, teen celebs to be exact and eight non-celebs. This camp is not just open to teen celebrities but to also ten lucky non-celebrity teens. Alex and I are one of the "lucky" ten.

"I could get used to this." Alex whispered to my ear. I looked at her and just smiled.

"Where are we going to seat? This place is too full." I said as I noticed there were no vacant tables.

"We'll sit with my twin, if she doesn't mind."

"I thought you two don't get along?!?!"

"We can try, she's not that bad."

"Let's just hope she's fine with it."

I followed Alex to…I do not know where. As I followed her, I keep looking from left to right looking at the people around. I was trying to guess which of these people are the celebrities and which are the other 8 non-celebrities. I managed to guess 3 non-celebrities. Yey me! What a boring way to occupy myself.

We continued walking to…I guess Alex's twin sister's table. We came to a stop in front of a table that I think is her sister's table since I noticed a girl with the same features as Alex with the same bright ginger hair but it's shorter than Alex's.

"Hey Alex." A girl that I'm guessing is her twin said. They both have same ginger hair but Alex was in curls and her hair was in a ponytail.

"Hey Cassy!" Alex responds. "Mind if we join you just for today?"

"Yeah sure." Alex and I both took a seat.

"Cassy, I want you to meet my roommate, Samantha. Sam, this is my twin sister, Cassandra." Alex said.

"Hi, Cassandra, nice meeting you." I said as I pulled a hand out to shake.

She grabbed my hand and shook it. "Nice meeting you too, Samantha." She said. "You, two should get in line if you want to eat your lunch."

"Oh…Yeah…Okay." Alex and I said simultaneously.

We stood and walked to the line. It wasn't that long though. But it was moving really slow. Lining up to get food, reminds me when I'm in school. I have to line up to get food and wait for the line to move before I get to have my food. And I can tell you, you have to be really patient if you want to avoid fights.

Though, I've noticed that Cassandra was kind to Alex. I thought they don't get along?! Maybe not all the time, though.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Wow, the food was delicious. I could get used to this, if this food continues to be delicious as today. That would be something to look forward to every meal time, I believe.

I was enjoying my food until someone ruined it. Cassandra started saying bitchy things to Alex. Well, earlier was fake, I believe. It was just a show of kindness. Fake kindness, if you ask me. I think she was trying to fit in. She wants to be superior to Alex. What an awful sister.

After we had finish lunch, Alex and I took the opportunity to get away from Cassy when she was talking/flirting with one celebrity person.

"Alex, are you okay?"

"I'm fine Sam. I'm quite used to her bitchy self."

"Okay." I said. "For twins, I expected that both the twins will have the same attitude. But you and Cassandra are opposites. That's new."

"It's never new to me."

But to me it is.

"Oh look it's almost 12." I said as looked at my wrist watch. Can't go anywhere without it. "Let's fine a shady stop in the quadrangle to stay at while the opening is ongoing."

"That's a great idea." Alex agreed. "Look there is a shady spot there." She pointed at a circular bench along the sides of the quadrangle that was cool enough to stay at.

"Let's sit there." I said.

We stayed there and had a conversation. It was a conversation about our life. It was a moment of getting to know each other even more. I hope to get along with her really well. That is quite an improvement from earlier. I guess I am getting used to this place and this person beside me. Alexandra is not that awful as I thought so awhile ago. And I believe she can be a good friend if I just tried to be better.
