A little boy was being laughed at.

"Hatred"

A little boy was standing infront of a burning house.

"Sadness"

The boy turned around and grabbed a man's hand.

(Present time)

"So this is the university" A boy said "It's quite big"

"Right?"

The boy turned around, there was another boy with a basketball.

"Isao Tanigawa, I presume?" The boy said

"How did you know?" Isao asked

"You're quite famous, you're a good basket player" The boy said "By the way, my name is Shuji Uno"

"You seem like a cool guy" Isao said "Why did you come to this university?"

"Oh... I'm trying to find someone" Shuji said

"Well I hope you find them" Isao said

"Yeah" Shuji said "Anyways I should get going"

"Before that, give me your number so we can meet up again sometime" Isao said

"Oh sure" Shuji accepted gladly.

He gave him his number and left.

Shuji entered his classroom and sat down.

"This school is quite lively" Shuji thought to himself "But they don't realize a criminal studies here."

"Boink" A finger poked his cheek

"Woah!?" Shuji said suprised

"Ha ha ha" A silver haired girl was laughing "Did I startle you?"

"Yeah, I was busy thinking" Shuji said

"Thinking about what?" The girl asked

"Oh, you know.... like exams and stuff" Shuji said

"But we just started university again" The girl said "Nice to meet you, I'm Shika Nishi"

"Yeah I know, but I need to study" Shuji said

"You should relax more! Hang out more with your roommates" Shika said

"I live alone" Shuji said "By the way I'm Shuji Uno"

"What a perfect surname! Uno as one!" Shika said "Get it? Because you don't have any friends!" She laughed

"This girl is annoying..." Shuji thought to himself. "But not wrong and I hate it"

"Shika stop annoying the new guy" A dark-haired boy with orange eyes said with a friendly smile.

"Sorry Yuudai" Shika said

"Wow, that easily?" Shuji thought

"I'm Yuudai Yoshikawa, sorry for Shika's annoyance" He said

"Oh, it doesn't bother me" Shuji said "Thank you so much!" Shuji thought

"Anyways, class will start soon" Yuudai said "So I'll leave you to it"

Yuudai walked back to his seat.

"He's quite intelligent" Shika said "But he has quite a sad past"

"Sad past?" Shuji asked

"I really don't talk about it if he doesn't let me" Shika said

The class had started.

"Let's do our best!" Shika said

"Yeah" Shuji smiled

After classes.

"Uff... I'm quite tired" Shuji said

"I know right? It's quite boring" Shika said

Shuji noticed Yuudai leaving with Isao

"Hey... umm I need to go" Shuji said, stood up and followed them

"Well.. bye?" Shika said confused

Shuji followed them in secret to the boy's bathroom nearby.

"Hey you brought it?" Isao asked

"Yeah I did, but are you sure we won't get caught?" Yuudai said

"Of course not" Isao said

"Get caught..? Is Yuudai also from the WJO?" Shiju asked himself

"Anyways thanks!" Isao said "Now I need to head to my match"

Isao ran off without noticing Shuji hidding there.

"Oh Shuji" Yuudai said walking calmly "Why are you here? It's lunch"

"What did you give him?" Shuji put his right hand on his pocket

"What I gave him..?" Yuudai said "Well his homework"

"His homework?" He pulled his hand back out.

"Yeah, he's quite busy in his matches so I've been helping him" Yuudai said "What? Did you think it was some sort of drug?"

"O-Oh no, I thought it was something else" Shuji said

"Be careful with that pocket knife" Yuudai said

"Pocket knife?" Shuji said suprised "How did you know?"

"Well, I don't judge you. In this time of the year there's a lot of dangerous people running around" Yuudai said "But.. I have to warn you about Isao"

"Warn me?" Shuji asked

"Isao has been going out lately, not to hang out with his friends nor for his matches" Yuudai said

"It matches what it says in the file.." Shuji said

"What file?" Yuudai asked confused

"Oh, it's nothing" Shuji said

"Anyways, if you want to ask him you can talk with him later" Yuudai said "He invited me, Shika and a few girls to eat. If you want I can ask him to let you join"

"That sounds good, Shika told me to relax by hanging out with people" Shuji said

"You really shouldn't listen to Shika" Yuudai said "I have to eat with some friends, see you later"

"Yeah see ya" Shuji said

Yuudai left.

"This will be perfect to get more evidence" Shuji thought to himself "Good job Shuji!" He complimented himself.

In the afternoon after classes.

Shuji was walking through a crowded street in the city.

"Hey! There he is!" Shika said

"There he is" Isao said "Right on time"

There was another girl there.

Shuji noticed Yuudai missing "Where's Yuudai?" Shuji asked

"Right here" Yuudai said, beside him was a beautiful purple-haired girl.

"Hello" Shuji said

"Get out of here you idiot" The purple-haired said

"What?!" Shuji said confused

"Sorry about her, she's just in a bad mood" Yuudai said "She's Emi Nakashima"

"Nice to meet you" She said with a serious face.

"Yeah.." Shuji said

"Let's get going!" Isao said "Oh yeah, thanks for the homework, I luckily finished them"

"Speaking of, you just transferred here right Shuji?" Shika said

"Yeah, I missed a few classes because an 'incident' that I had" Shuji said

"Let's head to the karaoke" Isao said

We all agreed, we rented a room and ordered a few snacks and drinks.

"Who wants to start?" Shika said enthusiastic

"Not me" Yuudai said

"Neither I" Emi said

"Well then, I'll start" A girl said

She started singing.

The drinks and snacks came in.

Yuudai and Emi had a yellow drink.

Shika and Isao had cola.

"Shuji, what did you order?" Shika asked

"Oh, some alcohol" Shuji said

"Well we're 20 so it's normal" Yuudai said "But don't drink to much"

The big glass of bear came.

"I know my limits" Shuji said and started chugging

"Let's party hard!" Isao said

"Yeah!" Shika said enthusiastic

"Yeah..." Yuudai said not enthusiastic

Emi didn't even talk.

"Hm?" Yuudai noticed something on his drink, it was a strand of hair "Time to ask for another one"

He called an employee and asked to change his and Emi's drink, she had also found a strand of hair aswell

"I'm very sorry!" The employee said "I didn't mean to serve my hair on your drinks!"

"Calm down, it's a normal mistake" Yuudai said

"I-I'll ask another employee to make your drinks again" The employee said and left.

Few minutes later, she came came back with the drinks, this time without the strand of hair.

"Thank you" Yuudai said

"S-Sorry about before" The employee said

"We said it's okay already" Emi said "Now scramble"

The employee left.

"Yuudai is quite patient" Shuji thought to himself.

"Who's next?" Isao said

"Oh, me! me!" Shika grabbed the microphone and started singing.

They had a lot of fun, chatting and singing.

It was already nighttime, they were out already.

"Goodnight Shuji!" Shika said "See you tomorrow!"

"See you later" Isao said

"Goodnight" Yuudai said

"Bye" Emi said

"See you guys tomorrow" Shuji said

They all parted ways, Shuji went back to his apartment. He closed the door behind him and sighed.

"It's obvious now.. Isao Tanigawa is a member of WJO, no... one of the commanders" Shuji said

He opened a drawer and pulled out a file with the name Phantom Phoenix

"Isao Tanigawa, you're the Phantom Bird aren't you?" Shuji said reading through the file "I should contact my superiors"

He grabbed his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello?" Shuji said "Yeah it's me. I found evidence against Isao Tanigawa" He looked on some notes "What? Lost contact with-?"

The power went off.

"Hello? Hello?!" Shuji dropped his phone and ran to the power box and turned it back on. "Was it an outage? No... that would be a hell of a coincidence"

Shuji fell to the floor, he was paralyzed?

"W-What..." Shuji said

He heard footsteps behind him.

"When did they.... That drink!?" Shuji remembered the beer he drank "Was it poisoned..?"

"I expected more Shuji" A familiar voice said

"I-It can't be..." Infront of Shuji, Yuudai was sitting down.

"How are you Shuji? Feeling okay?" Yuudai said

"I-I trusted you.." Shuji said "I thought Isao was the only member in WJO in that university"

"Oh? Who gave you that info?" Yuudai said "Was that the police?"

"W-What?" Shuji said suprised

"The police must really want us arrested or maybe dead, that would let a killer like you free" Yuudai said

"A killer?" Shuji said shocked

"Shuji or should I say the Heart Slasher?" Yuudai said "You used to kill your victims by stabbing them with a knife in the heart"

"You should have been executed" Emi said

"Y-You too..?" Shuji said "Isao and you two are from the WJO?!"

"Hm? When did I say that Isao was with us?" Yuudai said "The police are really dumb"

"What are you saying?" Shuji said

"The info that the police gave you was fake" Emi said "We gave them the info anonymously"

"What?" Shuji said "So he never was..."

"Yep and he will be blamed for your death and trying to poison us" Yuudai said

"Poison you?" Shuji said "All of the drinks were poisoned?"

Yuudai smiled "All of them were poisoned, except Isao's"

"Y-You would kill your friends for that!?" Shuji said angry

"My friends? Shika and Emi are my friends, but I know Shika is safe" Yuudai said "She lives with some roommates, they can call the ambulance"

"But you in the other hand, live alone" Emi said "That's what my Yuudai heard from Shika and you chatting"

"What's with the 'my' part?" Yuudai said "Ours were also poisoned"

"What?" Shuji said "You changed your drinks.. so you wouldn't drink poison?!"

"Ding Ding" Yuudai said "We place the strand of hair ourselves"

"And that would force the employee to change drinks.." Shuji said

Shuji started coughing. "And what would have happened if the employee didn't change it...?"

"Well we wouldn't have drank it, but that would make me and Emi suspicious as well" Yuudai said

Shuji started laughing "They know!"

"Hm?" Emi pulled a knife out, Yuudai stopped her.

Shuji revealed below his clothes were some microphones.

"They were always recording! Ha Ha!" Shuji said

Yuudai smiled.

"W-Why are you smiling..?" Shuji said "D-Don't tell me.."

"Didn't you lose contact with your squad?" Yuudai said with a smile "We killed them..."

Shuji couldn't believe it.

"Those microphones stopped recording when we killed your fellow police partners" Yuudai said "We killed them when you were walking back home"

"I-It can't be..." Shuji started coughing blood

"Isao will be arrested and put to trial" Yuudai said "As exactly as I planned... The Phantom Phoenix, one of WJO's commanders!" In a blink of an eye, he was wearing dark clothes and a futuristic dark mask. "Now let the demon judge you!"

"I-I can't believe it... being deceived by the person who tried help me..." Shuji smiled "I was no match for you..." Shuji closed his eyes and died.

Emi was wearing dark clothes and also a mask.

"We will save this world from corruption" Yuudai said "Will you stay with me Emi or should I say Phantom Huntress?"

Emi went on one knee "Of course, Commander" She said "Should I call the rest?"

"Tell them to meet at the base" Yuudai said

"Yes sir" In a blink of an eye Emi had disappeared.

Yuudai looked at Shuji's dead body. "You were just a piece of a chess board, I never considered you a friend"

The door bursted open.

"Freeze!" A cop said

There was no one.

"Inspect the body" The cop said "He escaped, dangit!"

In the top of a tree.

"How idiotic sending a killer to help a investigation" Yuudai said and leaped off.

This is the start to conquering Japan!
