64 Jenazad

Before either Kenichi or Tidat could start fighting, a loud boom resonated across the mountain, shortly after, pieces of the hotel started falling, forcing Tidat and his group to run out.

Both sides were too distracted by what was happening above to engage each other. They could not see the fight, but they could hear it, loudly. The shockwaves from the fight, making the hotel shake. When the sounds stopped, everyone rushed to the back of the hotel, trying to take a look.

What they saw left with their mouths opened, Jenazad and Azuma were moving so fast that the rest could not see them, the only signal of their presence was the snow that continuously erupted from the ground.

In disbelief, Tidat whispered, "He is fighting on equal grounds with the guru…." He met Azuma when he visited his mom, at the time Tidat didn't take him seriously, thinking that Jenazad could easily defeat him. Like Tidat, the rest of his followers were equally shocked, Jenazad was like a god in their country.

On the side, seeing Tidat's clothes, Miu remembered a story her grandfather had told her, "Those clothes.... grandpa told me he once had a difficult fight against someone…."

Beside her, hearing that Kenichi was scared, "The….elder…had a difficult time?" His mind could not process what he just heard, by all accounts, the elder was the strongest, Kenichi had a difficult time believing anyone could pose a challenge against Hayato. The simple fact Azuma was fighting someone with that reputation shed light on how strong Azuma really was, he had heard some of his masters talk about Azuma's strength, but as they say, seeing is believing.

._._._._._._.

Back with Azuma, he was having a hard time, Jenazad's Supreme Silat, resembled a dance, more than a martial art. Yomi seemed to have done their research on him, that, or Ogata had told them about his style, because Jenazad was dodging at the last second, never allowing Azuma's attacks to end near him. Their fight, for now consisting of engaging and disengaging quickly, neither of them exchanging more than a few moves at a time.

In one of their small pauses Jenazad started talking with Azuma, "I fought both your parents once, regretfully neither fight reached its conclusion, maybe if I kill you I'll get the chance to fight them again." Not bothering to answer, Azuma attacked once again.

As if planned beforehand, both masters decided to stop probing each other, adopting their serious stances. Jenazad's stance being extremely weird, like a monkey ready for a fight, while Azuma removed all weights he had on his body, his hands forward, forming a claw, his leg slightly back.

The spectators were entranced by the fight, forgetting completely that they were about to fight minutes ago. They failed to notice that the original group started to become bigger, Niijima and Tanimoto joining the group, alongside them some of Ryōzanpaku masters were there, Sakaki, Akisame, and Hayato.

A hand tapped Kenichi's shoulder, sacring him, when he turned around he saw Akisame, "Masters? Elder? What are you doing here?"

Niijima was the one to answer, "Hehehe, Pawn-I mean Kenichi, the booms resounding across the mountain were clue enough."

Hayato intervened, continuing, "Your friend here." Pointing at Niijima, "Called us, it seems he saw Azuma's fight through his binoculars. Good thing he called, Jenazad is not someone to underestimate." Not saying that Tōchūmaru had put a tracker on Kenichi for situations like this.

Akisame narrating for everyone, a serious look on his face, "It's begun."

The ones that were here since the beginning asking at the same time, "You mean it hadn't already begun."

Distracted, they noticed Azuma's and Jenazad's battle had resumed, Jenazad was attacking, Azuma had entered Ryūsui Seikūken since the beginning. Dodging every attack Jenazad made, but barely. All attacks were directed at a vital point, eyes, throat, groin, heart, brain; had Azuma been any slower, he would have died a dozen times by now.

Jenazad started making afterimages of himself, attacking Azuma from every direction. "You are not the only one who can do that, crazy son of a bitch." Using bunshin, Azuma matched all of Jenazad's copies.

This was the highest-level fight most of the spectators had seen in their lives, seeing their faces Akisame explained, "It's not that they've made copies of themselves, most of you are too weak to see it, but a way to describe it would faints, each 'copy' being one possible attack, a way to try and fool the opponents Seikūken."

The disciples in the group, mainly Kenichi thought about his fight against Ryūto, on how they had to move slowly and steadily, comparing that fight to this one, he understood how his masters saw their fight, like two babies fighting each other compared to this.

Seeing that their attacks were being dodged or blocked, Azuma tried a butterfly kick, Jenazad jumped, moving in midair, dodging the shockwave, he grabbed Azuma's leg, twisting it, trying to break it. Feeling this, Azuma twisted his body on his leg's direction, avoiding the damage, however, Jenazad used his momentum to smash Azuma to the ground.

Rushing at Azuma, Jenazad thrust his hand at him, kicking while still on the ground, Azuma created distance between them, quickly standing up, Azuma and Jenazad rushed to each other.

To the spectators, their figures started to merge…..Then suddenly, both fighters suddenly smashed to the ground, seemingly out of nowhere. Rolling back, and 'merging' again, the process repeating itself over and over.

It was time for Sakaki to be surprised, glancing at Akisame, he saw how he had a grim look. The Karate master remembered how Akisame had come with a similar technique, continually attacking, until your opponent's only way to doge is to slam himself into the ground.

Seeing that everyone was looking at him, waiting for an explanation, Akisame did exactly that, "They are slamming themselves against the ground to doge, had they not, either of them would have been killed by now." Looking at Kenichi and Miu, "Azuma currently focuses on taekwondo, but originally he first learned jujitsu."

Once again separating from each other, Jenazad started laughing, "Kakakaka, I haven't felt my blood boil like this for a long time. Come Azuma Fūrinji, let's enjoy our fight." Glancing at the viewers, "Oh? There's a cue, I wonder who I'll fight after I'm done with you."

As Jenazad's glanced at the others, the disciples, Tidat, and his followers started shaking, the bloodlust they felt was so overwhelming, that Niijima and some of Tidat's followers had to kneel. Meanwhile, the rest were shaking like never before.

Looking around, Kenichi saw how his masters and the elder stood there composed, he wondered how could they do it, he was using all his strength trying to stand still. However, quickly another bloodlust was felt, equally as strong as Jenazad's. Looking up, Kenichi saw Azuma also glancing at them.

Not intentionally, but when Azuma's gaze wandered to the group, his bloodlust followed. Jenazad's plus Azuma's bloodlust being too much for the people that originally kneeled, they started losing consciousness, the disciples stating to kneel.

Between breaths, Kenichi asked, "Elder…. how could Azuma…..also have….such…. a strong bloodlust?" He had felt bloodlust before, but nothing compared to this.

The maters present sighed, Hayato being the one that spoke, "This Kenichi-kun is a fight between two masters ready to kill each other, this is above winning or losing, here, they are trying to completely extinguish the other." Quickly the elder had a sad look on his face.

Akisame sensing Kenichi would ask more, quickly stated, "Azuma is different from your masters or the elder, since the beginning, he has never refrained from killing." Giving another sigh, "From now on, nothing can interrupt their fight, first, it would be against all our beliefs to help Azuma, second, the fight will only end until one or the other falls dead."

Sakaki pated Kenichi's shoulder, helping him stand up, extremely serious, "Look carefully my disciple, this is two martial artists fighting with all they have, putting everything on the line. It would be a disrespect to them if you avert your eyes."

Steeling himself Kenichi continued watching the fight.
