10 Fight

A/N: Alright this will be my first try in writing a fight scene, hope it doesn't suck. Leave your thoughts in the comments.

That chill I felt earlier was warranted, dad is a machine, mom´s training was a spa day compared to this. The issue is the Fūrinji style, I knew there wasn´t a preexisting style for it, but it feels like there is no style at all or tens of them combined, it´s confusing.

There are some stablished moves, aside from the famous Legendary 108 techniques. Ignoring the former most ´techniques 'are only simple moves with the Fūrinji name attached to them, for example Hyoi Kazekirihane, one, a mouthful, and second it´s just a backflip and a kick at an angle.

The ones that aren't simple moves and not part of the legendary techniques are simply impossible to perform if you are not dad, like Fūrinji Oshi Itte, a palm thrust, except the outcome that dad showed, was a giant shockwave that flattened a couple of trees. So, none of that for now.

My life was training, not only is dad a slave driver, mom also found time, to send a book with the more advance Kushinada techniques for me to learn, between the early physical training for the Fūrinji style and the research on mom´s techniques, a year went by.

I´m almost eleven and the training for the Fūrinji style began, and it was not easy, the style focuses on physical prowess and a disgusting amount of battle instinct. In other words, as I have zero battle experience, thus instinct, I got my ass handed to me on a daily basis.

I try not to remember the first few fights against Saiga, who had to intervene before my first fight which was originally against dad, and I quote.

"Stop! What on earth are you thinking dad, trying to fight Azuma, you are not exactly know for holding back, so back away, I´ll fight against him."

He proceeded to tell me his stories of how at the beginning dad would leave him half dead after a fight. Thank god he intervened, the look on his face when he told those stories is all I need to know.

Such a good brother, except the bastard did not go easy on me, I was embarrassing, I had talent at least equal or above to Saiga´s, yes he was an expert class but either way, the fights should not have been that one sided, my lack of experience shining like the sun in the sky.

Until six months later, at least a thousand battles done, and some may think, fighting the same person over and over, will, at some point stop working and the statement is half right, I for sure will need to fight different people, with different martial arts, but the Fūrinji style is so diverse and unstandardized, that it´s perfect for honing experience and instinct.

It also helps that dad will out of nowhere drop you into the forest and constantly harass you until you start instinctually avoiding his blows, which probably feel as is being hit by a truck. You start to learn, fast.

By the end of the nineteenth month living with dad, I tied with Saiga, he was holding back, an expert class against a high disciple class would be a massacre, but still, I tied.

"Alright little brother, come." Saiga waved his hand back and forth, taunting me.

After so many battles against him I´ve come to learn how to read Saiga. He is usually calm, easy going and compassionate, but at times reckless due his age. He know I´ve been getting better, our fights lasting longer and longer, but still, believing I can´t beat him, I know I can´t, but a tie, now that I can do.

While in a fight Saiga resembles father, while I seem, to take from mom, calm and collected.

"Lets start" I say, readying my stance, even if I´m starting to learn the Fūrinji style, Saiga has been practicing it all his life, if I want a chance in the fight I will need to use jujitsu.

We eye each other, trying to find an opening in our defenses. Saiga knows jujitsu is reactive rather than proactive, inferring I will not move from my position he attacks.

A simple proving jab to initiate the fight, I dodge, trying to counter the punch this early would only end in my loss.

We get into a flow, he´s attacking, I´m defending.

One finally connects with my abdomen, I gasp, air leaving my lungs, before I would have panicked, now, this is a chance. As soon as his fist impacts my body, I try to grab his wrist while he is returning to his stance, I succeed.

I go for something simple, a twist to his wrist, an arm grab, and a foot swap to make him lose balance. I have in a hold. His back needs to bend in a bowing position, at my rib level. I have his arm, if he pushes upward his shoulder will dislocate, that why he is matching my flow. Regretfully I´m too short so I need to push with my body, instead of my hip to make him fall.

If I get him to the ground in a hold I win, so as we are falling, he uses his strength to twist his body, rendering the hold I have on his arm useless. I quickly let go of his arm and move backward, both of adjusting our stances, ready to start again.

He dashes at me, a leg sweeping toward my ankles, if I jump, I lose my center and hold on the ground, I need at least one foot on the earth. I roll backwards.

This is getting us nowhere, I have not mastered this technique, but I need it. I start to move backwards, readying my stance for Bunshin.

I sprint towards Saiga, flaring my ki, the moment I start running, as if an illusion, three copies of myself appear, all running at Saiga. He looks surprised, perfect. We zig zag to confuse him on which is the original, and we attack, as he is distracted by the sudden appearance of three clones, I jump at him, tackling him.

Regretfully I´m spent.

"That was Bunshin right?" Saiga asks, we were heading back to house after our little spar.

"Yep..." I answer, trying to sound mysterious.

"How? That's at least a master level technique." He says surprised.

"It`s not as impressive you see. You know for Bunshin you need speed; I got that. The hard thing is the ki and strength requirements, which I do not have. But this a variant, the Kushinada Style version shifts the explosion and impact point of ki, instead opting to use it to confuse the opponent."

"So tie?" He asks

"Tie"
