Where is the peace (1)

Outside the birds were chirping as they flew around in a cheerful manner. The wind seemed to be blowing softly and the thin tree branches make a knocking sound on the window, by which the sound woken up the young boy currently sleeping in that room.

His eyelashes flutters as they slowly opens.

The boy eyes seemed unfocused, and his expression is blank. His mind seemed to be lost somewhere as he stared at the ceiling with a slightly gaping mouth. "Young master, it is time for breakfast…" A maid enter with a tray of food, and seeing that the young boy are already awake, she smiled as she put the tray on the side table.

"Good morning young master" She helped the boy to sit up then take a wet towel, and twist it a few times before she wipe the face of the young boy gently. The young boy did not show much reaction toward the maid as she was wiping his face.

Sighing a bit, she shook her head and then took the bowl of porridge and feed the young boy after she help cool it down. Only when eating would the young boy move, and that is by instinct. The maid taking care of this young boy are his personal maid that was assigned by the head of the house of this boy family.

Shina, was the name of the maid, and before she was selected to become the personal maid of this boy, she was just a nameless servant, that was taken in by the head a few years ago. When she met this young master during her cleaning duty, the boy was sitting in the garden with a cup of an already cold tea, staring at who knows what.

The boy appearance was quite a sight, if one see him during that time, they would be stunned still as he was a beautiful little boy like a fallen angel. His face despite the blankness in his eyes, looked like one carved from a pearl, one would simply said that he looked perfect.

But all living would not be able to have such perfection, and which is why the young master who is beautiful beyond the imagination, have a mental disability. The head however loved this son of his because he was the first born from his first deceased wife. So despite that mental disability, he was granted a personal maid and also a personal butler to ensure his well-being is being taken care of.

She was chosen as his personal maid all because of that first time meeting, the young boy, who had barely make a sound, gave a name to her and would call for her whenever they met. The frequency of this eventually reached the family head, and thus her status moved from a nameless servant to a maid, and as a personal maid for this young boy, all things such as food preparation, room cleaning, and even bathing and dressing the young boy were all handed to her.

As for the other things, daily activities, money management, and so on we given to the personal butler to manage.

Though feeling a pity for this boy, she still thought that he have a good life. As for today, the personal butler will be bringing this young boy to a walk at a horse-riding place because the boy did give a slight reaction toward a small horse in that place.

----.

As a famous horse-riding place, a lot of rich children or nobleman children can be seen riding their horse around while they are socializing with other. A young boy was slowly pushed inside while sitting on the wheelchair by middle-aged butler. Walking by the butler side is a plain looking maid, seemed to be carrying an umbrella for the young boy.

The other children whispered to each other when they saw the young boy on the wheelchair, "Ah, Miran came here again." One of them shook their head a bit, his eyes showed some pity for the young boy. They used to be in the same kindergarten with the young boy, and at that time, though the young boy can be seen blanking out a lot, they still went to play with him and even become friends.

Now though, even if they went to greet the young boy, they were never be able to get any response from the boy, it was as if the young boy did not know them and in a way this make them feel utterly upset.

Everyday it was the same, and each time he come with his personal maid, they would bring out the paddy horse that the young boy has taken a liking before, and allowed the rider to bring the boy around on that paddy horse.

Today was supposed to be the same, though when the maid asked for it, they unfortunately was informed that that horse was found dead just yesterday.

The young boy and his maid returned, and the boy only looked down after a while they were returning probably was sadden by the death of his favorite horse. Shina could only comfort the boy with a gentle pat on his head as they stayed quietly.

"Stop the carriage!" a loud voice can be heard as the carriage stopped abruptly.

"Who are you?!" The coachmen voice can be heard as the horse whined for the sudden stop. Shina hugged the young boy firmly as she peek outside the carriage window a bit. Sweats trickled down from her head as she paled when she saw that they were now surrounded by unknown people who covered their faces.

The young boy, looked up at the pale Shina, seeing her trembling but trying to keep him safe, her hug were warm and secure, trying to protect him from any harm, he can feel how much she cared from himself after seeing how she had taken cared of him for all this years.

Closing his eyes, he prayed. He prayed for someone to help them, to save her, from this situation. As for himself, he does not care not he bothered to think as he opened his eyes again and stared at his maid with an empty expression.
