66 The ending

Kresha automatically turned her head when she heared Lindon's voice.

She knitted her brows when she saw his shock and crying expression.

She quickly approached him, " Why?" She asked.

Lindon did not response as if he did not heared Kresha asked.

"Lindon?" Kresha called Lindon when he did not response.

Lindon slowly put down his phone and then he turned his back against Kreha.

He placed both his hands on his car and he lowered his head.

He tried to calm his self but he can't stop his tears from rolling down to his face.

Kresha saw Lindon's shoulder shook.

She know he is crying and she doesn't understand why; but she still walked closer to him and embraced him.

She stroke his back until he calmed down.

"What happened?" Kresha asked when Lindon calmed down.

Lindon pursed his lips and he took a deep breath before he speak.

"H-he's gone..." he said in a faint voice.

Kresha knitted her brows, " Gone? Who?" She asked.

"G-grandpa..." Lindon replied.

Kresha felt like someone splashed her a cold water that made her body froze.

She can't find a words to say to comfort Lindon, because she her self was hurt too.

A few minutes ago, they are both laughing and so happy because of the goodnews, and now the bad news ruined everything!

"I...I thought, he can make it this time." Lindon said.

Kresha did not say a word. She just stroke Lindon's back and kept silent.

Lindon prepared everything for his grandpa's wake.

He instructed Kresha to go home with the two servants from the Mo Residence.

Kresha can't exhaust her self because she is pregnant and it won't be good for the baby in her womb.

Lindon talked to the butler and his grandpa's private nurse and asked what happened at the Mo Residence.

But according to his grandpa's nurse, they found Elder Mo's lifeless body in his bedroom.

The old man is lying on the bed like he was asleep.

But when they tried to wake him up, he did not response.

When they check his pulse, it's not beating anymore and his body is as cold as ice.

Everything in his room are all right and there is no sign of foulplay.

Lindon looked at his grandpa's peaceful look.

He doesn't know why, but Lindon feel a little ease when he saw his grandpa's peaceful face.

Grandpa, thank you for everything, it hurts for me to lose you, but i know that you are happy now.

There, you can't feel the pain and sufferings.

There, you can't feel sorrows.

I will go on with my life, I still have Kresha and our future baby.

It's just a waste, you never heared the good news that I was about to tell you.

I know you would be happy for me.

They will still know you even if you're gone.

The wake lasts for a few days before the funeral.

Lindon is standing in front on the tomb stone with his grandpa's name and picture.

The people who attended the funeral started to leave one by one until it's only Assistant Chen, Kresha and Lindon are left there.

Lindon is standing near the tomb while Kresha and Assistant Chen is standing behind him.

They have waited for almost one hour, but Lindon still did not move.

Kresha took a step forward and walk closer to Lindon.

"It's getting dark, we should go home now." She said.

But Lindon did not response to her.

"Lindon, I'm still here... I mean... we're still here."

This time Lindon turned his head and look at Kresha.

Kresha cupped his chin with her little hands, " Me and our future baby are still here for you.We will not leave you alone." Kresha said.

"I know it hurts to lost him, he is not just a simple grandfather to you. He is also a father, a mother and even a bestfriend! But Lindon, nothing would lasts forever. Everything has it's own ending. "

"Let's just think that he is now in good hands." Kresha added.

"T-thank you." Lindon suddenly said. "Thank you for giving me the courage to fight! You're right, nothing lasts forever. So I should cherish the memories of us. I'll just think that he is now in a better place where he won't suffer anymore. I'll continue living for you and for our future baby." Lindon said.

Kresha felt relieve, this is the first time that he talked to her this way since his grandpa died.
