46 Marry her

Kresha reached the hospital after fifteen minutes.

Because the old man's condition has improved, he was transferred from the ICU to his private room.

Kresha went straight to the old man's private room.

She knocked on the door before she open it.

She saw the old man lying on the hospital bed, he has a drip on his right hand and a nasal cannula on his nose. The old man is awake and looked weak.

"Good evening Elder Mo." Kresha greeted the old man.

Elder Mo smiled at Kresha. "Good evening, Lindon is with you?" The old man asked with his weak voice.

Kresha shook her head. " No Elder Mo, Lindon is currently in a meeting with the clients."

Elder Mo chuckled , "This kid is working too much." He mumbled and then, he look up at Kresha.

"Come here little girl." The old man gestured Kresha to come over to him.

Kresha took a step forward and sitted at the chair near the bed. "Do you need something Elder Mo?" Kresha asked.

The old man shook his head. " Little girl, I know that I only have a short time to live. My body feels weak." The old man said.

Kresha keep silent, she know the old man wanted to tell her something.

"But, I wanted to see my grandson got married before I die." The old man continued. " Could you marry my grandson? I know that you can be a good wife and a good mother to your children someday." The old man said.

Kresha did not speak, she just look at the old man.

"I know I asked too much, I don't want him to be alone in life." Elder Mo explained. "So, please marry my grandson and take good care of him."

Kresha smiled and nodded her head.

After a while they heard a knock on the door.

Lindon went to the Mo Corporation to pick up Kresha before he go to the hospital.

But Kresha left already when he arrived. So he just follow her to the hospital.

He went straight to his grandpa's private room.

He knocked on the door and then he opened it and peep inside. He saw Kresha sitted on the chair near the hospital bed.

Elder Mo and Kresha look at the person who have just arrived.

"Good evening grandpa." Lindon greeted his grandpa.

Kresha smiled and she get up from her seat. "You're here!" Kresha said and approached Lindon.

"Little girl can I talk to mt grandson for a while?" The old man asked.

Kresha look at the old man.

"Uhm, I think I should go out first." Kresha excused her self. She patted Lindon's shoulder before she got out from the room.

Lindon smiled at Kresha.

He approached his grandpa when Kresha closed the door.

"Grandpa, how do you feel now?" Lindon asked his grandpa.

His grandpa look at him, and gestured him to sit down.

But as soon as he sitted, his grandpa scolded him!

"You kid! You work too much! You should take good care of your health so that you won't end up like your grandpa!" Though the old man was sick and weak he still try to scold Lindon.

Lindon lowered his head. He hold his grandpa's hand. "Grandpa, I'm sorry if I was not able to protect you." Lindon blamed his self for what happened to the old man.

The old man furrowed his brows. "C'mon son! I am not a kid anymore! I don't need protection from anyone! I am old now and I am not afraid to die." The old man replied. "However, I worried so much about you."

Lindon look at his grandpa," huh?"

"I am sick and I know that I won't live for a long time, but your still not married!" The old man said.

"Grandpa, you should not worry so much about me." Lindon said.

"Son, if you don't want me to worry, then you better grant my only wish before I die." The old man asked repliednto Lindon.

"What is it grandpa?" He asked.

"I want you to marry Kresha." The old man replied.

Lindon froze...

This scene is familiar to him. This is what exactly happened fifteen years ago in his previous life!

His grandpa asked him to marry Kresha, and then three months after their wedding the old man passed away.

" Lindon, that Arriene is no good for you, trust me."

Lindon gritted his teeth and he balled his hand when he heared the word Arriene.

"Ms. Tang is a good person, I know her since she was young, and I know that she can be a good wife to you."

Lindon smiled to his grandpa.

"Grandpa, even if you won't ask me to marry Kresha, I will still marry her. I will protect her and I will give her all my love. " Lindon replied to his grandpa.

I should thank you for forcing me to marry her in our previous life. You gave me a chance to meet my true love. Lindon thought.

"That's good to hear son!" The old man's eyes lit up!

"Grandpa, you should take a rest now. You should not exhaust your self." Lindon said.

The old nodded his head. His face seemed so happy!

Lindon did not stay in the Old man's room for a long time.

He let his grandpa take a rest before he got out from the room.

He saw Kresha standing near the window. He walk towards her but his phone suddenly ring.

Kresha turned her head when she heard the phone's ringtone. It was Lindon's phone!

"Hello?" Lindon answered.

Just like before, Kresha did not hear the other person from the other line. She just look at Lindon and listened to what he said to the person on the other line.

"Okay! I'm coming." Kresha heared Lindon said. And then he end up the call and he shoved his phone inside his pocket.

Kresha approached Lindon. "Who's that?" She asked.

Lindon look at Kresha, " Uh, it's assistant Chen, I have a meeting with the clients from Europe." Lindon explained.

Kresha knitted her brows. "But it's already eight in the evening! Can't you move it tomorrow?" Kresha asked.

"Uhm, it's urgent, I can't cancel it." Lindon said.

"Then let's leave together! I'm going home anyway." Kresha suggested.

"No!" Lindon stopped her.

Kresha was startled by Lindon's reaction.

Lindon froze and realized that Kresha might misunderstood him.

So he try to find a better reason to let her stay at the hospital for a while.

"Uhm, I mean...could you accompany grandpa for a while? Until the servants from the Mo Residence arrived?"

Kresha stared at Lindon, she think that Lindon is a little weird tonight!

"Alright!" Kresha agreed to Lindon though she feel like something wasn't right!

"Thank you." Lindon said, and then he embraced her and kissed her lips.

"I have to go." He said.

Kresha nodded her head. "Be careful!" She reminded him.

Her gaze followed Lindon until he get inside the elevator.

Lindon waved his hand and then he entered the elevator.

Kresha did not know why, but she felt like there is something wrong...

She doesn't know the reason why..

Her feeling is the same when they are in Shanghai!
