48 Intrapment

Lindon is sitting in the chair with his head bowed and he looked unconscious.

"Splash! " Someone splashed him with an icy cold water!

"Ha!" Lindon was startled by the sudden cold that hit his body.

He instantly felt wide awake!

He opened his eyes and try to lift his hand but he realized it was tied tightly!

Lindon narrowed his eyes, he knitted his brows and he looked around him. However, there is only a dim light in the entire place, so he can't clearly see the sorroundings.

"How are you Mr.CEO?"

Lindon heared a familiar voice of a woman.

He looked around and try to find where that voice came from.

"Who are you?!" Lindon asked.

"Oh! We have just break up a few months ago but you have already forgotten me?!" The woman asked sarcastically.

And then the lights started to lit up one after the other.

Lindon was blinded by the light, so he closed his eyes and adjusted from the light before he slowly opened his eyes again.

Lindon knitted his brows, " Arriene?" He blurted out when she saw the woman sitting on a chair in front of him.

Arriene is sitted on the chair with her legs crossed. There are twelve people including Jack and Rion standing behind her.

The other ten people looked like a thugs. They have firearms hanging on their bodies and they looked fearless!

"Oh! I thought you have forgotten me!" Arriene said with her raised brows.

"Hahahahaha!!" Lindon laughed. "Is this a prank?!" He asked.

"Hahahaha!!" Arriene laughed too.

She get up from her seat and walked towards Lindon. "Of course not!" She said.

Lindon's grin instantly faded away. "What?" He asked with knitted brows.

"Hahahaha!!" Arrienes sharp laugh filled the whole place.

"Lindon, if you only knew I have been waiting for this moment for a long time..." Arriene said.

"Arriene, c'mon stop fooling me around! Untie me now!" Lindon commanded.

Arriene approached Lindon. She lowered her head and stared at Lindon with her cold gaze.

"No,no, no! Not yet!" She said in a low and seductive voice. "This is just the beginning Lindon!" Arriene added.

Lindon's face turned serious. "Why are you doing this? Is it because I choose Kresha over you?!" Lindon asked.

"Hahahaha!!" Kresha laugh again, she laugh as if she have heared a rediculous joke!

"Hahaha!" Arriene can't stop her self from laughing, she continued to laugh until her face turned red.

After a while, she tried to calm her self before she speak. "Haha!! Mr. CEO! You think too high of your self! Do you really think that I am crazily in love with you?!" Arriene's face looked stern.

"What?!" Lindon knitted his brows.

"Mr. CEO! I was just trying to use you to take revenge to your Mo family!" Arriene said with her sharp gaze.

"Revenge?!" Lindon don't know what to say.

"Yes! Anyways, I forgot to introduce my self to you. I am Arriene Lin, the elligitimate child of Yan family!" Arriene raised her chin.

Lindon narrowed his eyes. Illegitimate child of Yan family? Lindon knew a few information about the Yan family. He knew that the Yan family owns the Yan Corporation which later on become the Mo Corporation.

But he did not know that they have an illegitimate child. He don't even meet the heir of the Yan family before!

Lindon looked at Arriene. " And what revenge are you talking about?" He asked.

" Why don't you asked your grandpa?" Arriene replied. And then she pretend to gasp!

"Oh my! I forgot! That old man is in the hospital right now! And I heared that his condition worsened!" Arriene knitted her brows and rubbed her nose.

"I thought, my men failed in his mission!" She said.

Arriene turned and look at Rion who is standing behind her.

"Hahahaha!! Rion!" Arriene called Rion. "I never thought that you have succeeded to your mission!" Arriene said as she gave Rion a thumbs up.

Rion did not speak, he just smirked at Lindon.

Lindon balled his hand and he gritted his teeth. "So, you bribef him to poison my grandpa?" Lindon asked coldly.

"Correct!" Arriene flicked her hand. "I am the one who sent him to the Mo Residence and I also commanded him to poison the old man!" Arriene proudly said. "My idea is so great! The Mo family are idiots! They never knew that their enemy are right in front of them!" She added.

"You!" Lindon tried to get up to attack Arriene but he was not able to move.

Arriene's men quickly push him down back to his seat.

Lindon's face turned red due to his anger.

Arriene chuckled, "tsk,tsk,tsk" she enjoyed looking at Lindon's helpless situition.

She giggled. "Hehehe, Oh! And by the way! I am also the one who sent Jack to kill Kresha a few months ago!" Arriene added. She wanted to trigger Lindon's anger until he lost his control!

"You're an evil!" Lindon yelled at Arriene. He is so angry to the point that his eyes turned red and his veins popped out on his forehead.

"Hahaha! I know!" Arriene replied. "And your Mo family turned me into an evil!" Arriene said coldly.

"Why are you targetting my Mo family, huh?!" Lindon asked.

"Because your grandfather snatched away my grandfather's position at the Yan Corporation eight years ago!" Arriene yelled.

" They kicked him out of the company and nobody wanted to help him! He was so depressed and he tried to kill him self a few times! I even saw him vomit a mouthful of blood! Seeing him in that state made my heart break! Harry Yan is the only one who accepted me in the Yan Family!

When he die? I lost a family too!"

"And that old Cedric Mo is the one who manipulated everything!" Arriene took a deep breath.

"Actually, I don't really plan to hurt your Mo family! I only wanted your wealth! But that Kresha Tang ruined everything!" Arriene added. "And speaking of that b*tch?" Arriene clapped her hand three times.

Two of Arriene's men quickly moved, they left for a minute and when they get back, they are holding a woman with her eyes covered with clothe, there is a silver packing tape plastered on her mouth and her hands are tightly tied.
