The Clone

The punch exerted a force far more monstrous than anyone could have imagined. It evaporated Magneton along with all the spears he had created.

But even after such destruction, the power didn't cease; it continued to obliterate the shockwaves previously generated by Magneton's fierce attacks.

Saitama still held his fists in an attacking position, and before withdrawing them, he murmured, "All that talk, and all it took was one punch?"

He sighed and fell to his knees. His face remained expressionless, but his mind was full of thoughts.

What now? There is no Earth left, just like my emotions. On top of never feeling stress, anger, love, or joy, I cannot pursue my hobbies anymore. I can no longer be a hero for fun, chase sales, or savor my favorite food. At what cost have I been given this power? Except for boredom, it hasn't given me anything. All the fun I used to have from intense monster fights is gone. This overwhelming strength has given me nothing but taken everything.

"..."

The few sparks of light slowly faded away, but suddenly, a low-pitched voice grunted in anger. "HAHAHA! IT'S BEEN AGES SINCE I HAVE TASTED MY OWN BLOOD."

Saitama quickly glanced around and saw Magneton back in full shape.

"If you thought a punch was enough to kill me, then you're no more than a fool," Magneton stated.

Saitama smiled and replied. "Then maybe two will do it."

Magneton gave a heinous grin and leaped forward towards Saitama.

In response, Saitama moved his foot back and prepared his punch. "Punches won't work on me anymore!" Magneton growled.

Before his last words could finish, Saitama leaped before him and, with a whisper, unleashed his deadly barrage of punches. "Consecutive Normal Punches."

Within the blink of an eye, Magneton was in the center of the punches. He defended himself from major injuries using his red energy, Qi, and while the strikes caused some damage, most of it healed almost instantly. Magneton looked at Saitama, still naked, and let out a roar of rage.

He pushed Saitama back with the soundwaves of his enraged growl and released his Qi into the surroundings.

"You better be ready for what's coming next!" he smirked.

Suddenly, countless fireballs, red-shining swords, and spears closed in Saitama from all four directions. Afterwards, his body glowed in sparks of electricity, and his colossal size doubled. Immediately, Magneton directed his artillery toward Saitama and shot it at lightning speed. It created beautiful trails of blood.

While most of the artillery forced Saitama to defend, some clashed with each other due to extreme speed, creating beautiful explosions that looked no less than colorful fireworks.

The pressure around Saitama and in the surroundings was immeasurable by human means. The sound of collisions was enough to destroy stars as big as the Sun. The dense smoke created in this air-less space looked like a new planet.

"Is this all you can do?" Saitama questioned mockingly.

After listening to the mockery, Magneton's face twisted into an expression akin to potatoes left to wither on a forgotten table.

Saitama punched his way out of the smoke, evaporating it on contact. He teleported in front of Magneton before he could react and attacked him again with his serious punch. But this time, Magneton was ready. He quickly leaped out of the way to a safe distance.

The punch was so potent that it evaporated the dust created by Magneton's leap and obliterated his artillery. Anything, including a million Earths, would have been annihilated upon contact with the shockwaves of that devastating punch.

"Not bad," Magneton snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, all the light emerging from his body began to multiply rapidly. His foot began to shake swiftly while deadly sparks of electricity continuously burst out.

Within a moment, he began to teleport all around Saitama at an unimaginable speed, creating countless afterimages of himself.

Saitama stared at his movements before getting bored and muttering. "Killer Series: Serious Sideway Jumps."

Saitama also moved at a speed surpassing that of light, creating several afterimages along the way.  But suddenly, he sneezed. The sneeze instantly destroyed all of his afterimages, along with the clones Magneton had created.

"This much power without Qi?" Magneton stood agape with his pupils dilated in surprise.

Saitama looked annoyed and pointed at him, enraged. "It's your fault that I'm naked!"

Out of words, Magneton didn't reply and instead teleported before Saitama, grabbing his face with his enormous hands.

Refusing to let go, he swiftly dragged him back while tightly shoving his fingers into his face.

"I won't say it's easy to get out of my grip," Magenton smirked.

Before he could finish, Saitama teleported behind him and landed a square karate chop on his shoulders. "If that is the case, then you might need to get stronger."

The chop made Magneton feel dizzy as his eyes squinted, and he was on one of his knees. Saitama instantly grabbed his shoulder and tightened his grip to a level that could easily knock out God himself.

The look on Magneton's face was desperate as if his mom assigned him a never-ending list of chores. His gigantic legs were shaking.

"Y-You amuse me, Saitama," Magneton stammered.  "But unfortunately, it's my clone that you are strangling to death."

Shocked, Saitama looked around. And, before he knew it, Magneton was no longer in his grip. He swiftly moved his eyes in all directions to track down Magneton but couldn't.

Suddenly, Magneton started to laugh in a terrifying voice. "Seriously?" The laugh grew louder. "It's not that easy to kill me."

Saitama tried to track the voice again but failed. "Hiding won't make you stronger, Zamneton."

"Zamneton? Who's that?" Magneton replied as soon as Saitama finished.

"You," Saitama pointed his finger out.

In uncontrollable anger, Magneton began to laugh again. "A new way of mockery? Huh?"

Immediately, several clones of Magneton, armed with shining weapons, emerged out of thin air. Each of them had immense energy flowing out of them.

The entire space was bathed in their energy, shining in brilliant red light.

"It's time to hunt," Magneton said with an evil, wide grin.
