The War Ends

The voice pierced through everyone on the battlefield.

A crying teenager could be seen standing in front of Akainu with his hands stretched out.

"Stop, already! All this fighting, just end it!" Coby cried as he tried to muster all of his strength to say what was on his mind.

"What's with him?" A Whitebeard pirate asked confusedly when he saw a marine screaming for the war to end.

"We're throwing people's lives away!" Coby continued his speech while crying about how the marines had giving up their lives for a meaningless fight and how every single marine had families waiting for them.

"Coby.." Garp said with a stupefied expression on his face.

Garp was shocked! This was his student we were talking about of course he would be surprised.

Blackbeard's face turned grim. Whenever he was about to fight, someone would always interrupt.

"We're making them look like idiots!" Coby continued.

"Huh, who are you?" Akainu asked surprised as he saw someone stand before him and interrupt his session of providing absolute justice.

"You've wasted several seconds of my time. The navy has no use for soldiers who aren't righteous!" Akainu said in a serious tone as he punched towards Coby with a fist full of magma.

"I have said what I wanted, I have no regrets!" Coby thought silently as he was about to be killed by the magma fist.

"Shring!"

A sword intercepted Akainu's fist as Coby was about to be killed.

"Huh?" Akainu was shocked! This man!! He thought while sweat began to form on his forehead.

"Huh!!" The gasp could be heard throughout the battlefield.

"You did well, young marine. You risked your life to create a brief moment of courage... For better or worse, that has greatly changed the fate of the world." A calm voice slowly said. This man was unexpectedly one of the four emperors of the seas Red-Haired Shanks!

Law looked towards the scene but immediately kept running with Luffy in his arms.

"That's not gonna work," Kizaru said slowly as he pointed his finger towards Law while a laser beam began to gather on his finger.

"Don't do anything, Kizaru!" A man with a pistol pointed his gun towards Kizaru. While sitting on top of a bowsprit of a pirate ship.

"Oh. My.. Ben Beckmann." Kizaru said slowly as he raised both his arms into the air in a surrendering manner.

"Red hair Shanks!! The one who put Luffy on the path to become a pirate!" Garp said slowly as he looked at Shanks in an extreme dissatisfied mood.

Sengoku had a serious expression on his face.

"Zehaha! So you've arrived..." Blackbeard said slowly as he looked at the Shanks with belligerent.

Mark also looked towards Shanks in interest. The war has completely changed from the canon as Whitebeard still was alive but unconscious at the moment.

A ship slowly appeared in front of the bay.

"It's the red-haired pirates!" A marine yelled in complete shock and fearfulness.

Shanks slowly began to walk towards the middle of the battlefield while everyone could be seen with different expressions on their faces.

"If you keep on fighting both sides will suffer more pointless casualties." Shanks slowly said as he kept walking.

"If anybody still wants to fight, then come! We will be your opponent!" Shanks said as he drew his sword from his sheath. The red-haired pirates could be seen standing behind him.

This statement completes shocked and terrified the marines as they began to walk back a few steps. Who are you kidding, they had just been fighting a massive war against an emperor, they didn't have men enough to fight one more! It wouldn't be war anymore but asking for extermination instead.

"What do you say Teach... No, Blackbeard!" Shanks asked as he looked towards Blackbeard with a calm face.

"Zehaha! You're looking more handsome than ever, Red Hair! That scar suits you nicely." Blackbeard had a huge grin on his face when he saw the scars on Shanks face which was obviously something he did to him.

Yasopp from the red-haired pirates immediately pointed his sniper towards Blackbeard.

Van Auger from the Blackbeard pirates pointed his sniper towards Shanks.

"Clap.. clap.." A clapping sound could be heard as the two pirates group where standing in front of each other.

"What a Mexican standoff!" Mark said while clapping his hands with a smile on his face.

Everyone turned their attention to him.

"I don't care if you here stop a war or whatever but this Blackbeard here is mine." Mark interrupted the standoff as he gathered darkness out from his body.

"Oh, your Mark.. Join my crew," Shanks said surprised when he saw Mark trying to actually start a fight with both him and Blackbeard.

"Not interested." Mark immediately denied.

"Let's fight." Mark continued in a calm voice.

"You sure, you want to do that?" Shanks slowly said as he looked towards Mark. With a burning gaze, he actually used Haoshoku Haki.

Mark didn't know what to do as he didn't have Haoshoku Haki but suddenly something unexpected happened.

"Boom!" The air crackled as the two gazes met each other. Darkness had manipulated the space around them.

Mark was surprised for a second, he just used Darkness power to encounter Haoshoku Haki. Awakening? This was it! Mark's body became transparent as if he was a natural element of the world.

Mark's eyes were wide open and crystal clear. He actually grasped Awakening of the darkness fruit powers.

Shank took a step back as darkness began to glisten before him.

"Uh?" Shanks was surprised for a second before his face turned back to calmness.

But was he really going to fight Shanks today? And not to mention Blackbeard waiting by the side.

"Another time then," Mark said as he squinted his eyes at Shanks. Did this man really possess the Dao of "face"? Fighting Blackbeard and Shanks at the same time would never be a good idea and especially when that Sengoku is watching by the side idly.

This exchange didn't go unnoticed as Blackbeard's eyes narrowed into two small slits.

Sengoku also saw this exchange as his face began to turn dark.

Akainu had a furious expression on his face as he watched what transpired.

"We are leaving!" Mark said towards the Z pirates as they began to walk away. The Z pirates could be seen walking behind Mark as they disappeared towards the left Bayside.

"See you in the New World," Mark said calmly as he kept walking away.

"Zehaha!" Blackbeard still had a ferocious smile on his face. But he also began to retreat slowly.

"Can't wait," Shanks said, but it was unknown if he meant it as an invitation or a threat.

"I want to take Ace's body," Shanks said towards Sengoku.

"Take him!" Sengoku said slowly.

"But fleet admiral! We can't let him do that." A marine captain said as he tried to convince Sengoku to change his mind.

"I will take the blame! Tend to the wounded. This war is over!!" Sengoku scream rang through the destroyed navy headquarters.
