The surprising thing was that the punch actually connected but it got deflected somehow.

Mark had actually taken that punch with only his physical body and no Haki was involved.

Luffy was screaming while holding his left hand over his right.

"Av av!" Luffy was rolling around on the ground.

Mark didn't even look at Luffy, he was only concentrating on catching Law.

"Kurouzu!" Mark extended his hand towards Law while pulling him towards himself using darkness gravity.

Trafalgar Law was terrified! What kind of power was this! He was actually being pulled towards the man attacking him.

Trafalgar Law made some hand signals while yelling "Shambles!" He was trying to switch place with a nearby piece of rock but unfortunately, he couldn't, this made Trafalgar Law break out In cold sweat. What happened to his powers? Where was his Room? Trafalgar Law was trying to figure out what to do next.

When Trafalgar Law finally came in contact with Mark's hand he got punched right in the face which made Trafalgar Law pass out immediately.

Luffy got up and he looked towards Mark who was holding the unconscious Trafalgar Law over his shoulders.

"Let him down now!" Luffy yelled angrily.

"Just because you say so?" Mark grinned while he looked towards Luffy. He obviously felt that, that the darkness-darkness fruit kept making some small changes to his personality.

"Was this the reason why Blackbeard had such a blood lust in the canon?" Mark thought while adjusting himself from the bloodthirst that was slowly building inside of him.

Now it actually made sense when Rayleigh told Mark that he had some evil aura around him!

It was like a voice screaming devour! Devour!

"Just some devil fruit ain't going to take over me!" Mark thought while thinking about possible solutions to this problem.

Could Whitebeard's devil fruit the Gura Gura No Mi perhaps be the key keep to keep down the blood lust? Was this one of the reasons why Blackbeard was so persistent on offending an emperor again and again? Mark threw this thought to the back of his head, as he looked at Luffy.

"I'm going to beat your ass!" Luffy said in a determined voice. He put his hand on the ground while saying in a calm voice

"Gear! Second!" Steam began to come out of Luffy's body. He suddenly disappeared from his former place and directly appeared in front of Mark's face.

Mark punched towards the fist that was coming straight for him without any use of Haki.

Bang!

The punches connected but only one person was sent flying in the air.

It was at this time that the people inside of the auction hall actually came outside.

"Luffy!" Yelled Zoro while taking out his swords, Sanji also prepared himself.

The darkness was actually still gathered on the ground.

"Ahh! Why is the ground covered in black!" Usoop screamed on the top of his lungs.

Mark turned towards the newcomers but wasn't actually interested in them. Then he turned his head towards where Luffy was sent to. Should I just kill of this nuisance right now, Mark thought while looking at Luffy. And the darkness-darkness power kept on trying to come out from his body.

it was like a volcano which wanted to erupt.

Yes! Better safe than sorry! Mark flashed in Luffy's direction while coating his fist in Busoshoku Haki.

"Luffy!!!" Yelled the Strawhats as they were watching Mark go after their captain.

A flash of silver could be seen as a figure appeared in front of Mark's Path and kicked at him.

The kick landed on Mark's left side of his stomach and he was sent flying a couple of meters away.

"God damn it!" Yelled Mark as he was sent flying away with Trafalgar Law still unconscious on his right shoulder.

"This is bullshit!" Mumbled Mark while he looked towards the man who kicked him away. Luffy was actually saved! Silvers Rayleigh!!!

"This guys plot armor is stronger than his determination to become Pirate King!" Thought Mark while rubbing his sore left side of his stomach.

While Mark was thinking of ways to kill Luffy a sound came from the right side of Mark.

"Haha, so this is the place you have been hiding captain!" A short man with a stocky build whose appearance was somewhat similar to that of a Mafia boss suddenly broke the tense atmosphere.

He had an arrogant look on his face as if he had just defeated a great enemy. This was none other than Capone "Gang" Bege.

Mark ignored him while looking at Silver Rayleigh.

"Reinforcements?" Thought Silvers Rayleigh while looking towards Mark and Capone.

"Can I ask you not to interfere Dark King!" Mark asked in a calm voice but he actually already knew the answer to this question.

"Unfortunately, that's impossible. This kids journey haven't even begun yet!" Answered Silvers Rayleigh with a smile on his face.

"Then goodbye!" Said Mark in a helpless tone.

"I'm sorry, but you will have to leave behind that kid on the shoulder too." Said Silvers Rayleigh with a crafty smile on his face.
