Mutation

When Yuri heard Mark accept her confession she immediately jumped into his embrace as she held him tightly.

Mark was surprised for a second before finally realizing what had just transpired. He had just officially accepted Yuri as his woman even though he had misunderstood her at first.

After hugging for a couple of seconds Mark gentle lifted up Yuri's chin as he kissed her on the lips. Mark was actually quite happy that he said the right words when it really counted even though it wasn't on purpose.

He was in love with Yuri, which he found out a long time ago, but he didn't think it was the right time to act on those feelings as he was currently on his way to kill his most hated enemy for the position of an emperor.

Yuri's face was beaming red as a tomato but filled with happiness after she separating from Mark's lips.

"Haha!" Mark couldn't help but laugh after seeing Yuri's little complex face. He wasn't really used to seeing her like this.

"Why are you laughing?" Yuri asked sweetly with an embarrassed look on her face as she pinched his nose.

"Hmm!" Mark couldn't feel the pinch but he still didn't want to let her do whatever she wanted to him.

"Because of you," Mark answered with a grin on his face as he grabbed Yuri's petite waist and lifted her up and placed her on his thighs.

"What are you doing?" Yuri screamed with panic and disbelief while trying to get off him.

Mark didn't let her off as he leaned his head towards her face and placed his lips on hers, then the battle of passion started again. Yuri didn't struggle anymore this time around as she placed her hands around his neck and kissed him back passionately.

After what seemed like an eternity they finally separated.

"I'm not ready.. yet.." Yuri said sheepishly as she placed her head in his embrace and hugged him as if she would lose him if she let go. She was afraid that Mark would get mad at her and leave her if she denied sleeping with him in this moment, so she added the word "yet" just in case he misunderstood again..

"Haha, it's alright! Your mine now anyway!" Mark laughed passionately as he hugged her small waist and kept kissing her.

Mark left Yuri's room after talking with her for a while. He could be seen smiling foolishly as he left her room.

He wanted to experiment with the light-light devil fruit before his arrival at the old Marineford, so he walked into his own room and sat down on the floor.

Mark didn't know if he could absorb three devil fruits at ones. So he had to try and take things slowly.

"Let's just try it!" Mark gritted his teeth as he took a bite of the light-light fruit also known by its official name the glint-glint fruit.

"Swoosh!"

"Click!"

Mark's body began to make clicking sounds as the darkness and light fruit kept fighting back and forth inside his body. Lightning was also howling inside of his body, it seemed as if three devil fruits couldn't be in complete harmony.

"Puh!"

Mark spat out a mouthful of blood as he grabbed his stomach in pain, his face turned ghastly pale.

"Am I going to die??" Mark's face kept changing as his stomach was howling madly, the pain was unbearable. It was as If someone kept punching and kicking him in the stomach while he had his hands and legs tied up.

"Puh"

Mark spat a mouthful of puke as a fruit formed object came out from his body to the floor. Puke could be seen all over the floor mixed with a lingering touch of blood.

"That's the rumble-rumble fruit!!" Mark was taken aback when he noticed the fruit between all the puke on the floor. This scene looked quite nuisances and nasty.

A sudden change happened to Mark's face again as he spat out another fruit from his body.

It was actually the dark-dark fruit mixed with the light-light fruit, both fruits had obviously fused.

"Did the two fruit fuse together?" Mark was surprised when he saw the fruit, he didn't have a devil fruit anymore inside of him. As the two fruits inside of him before were currently scattered on the floor.

Mark grabbed the mixed dark-dark and light- light fruit as he studied it for a second. He had never heard of this situation before but then again the one piece world was a mysterious and magical world after all.

"Should I eat it?" Mark was conflicted when he looked at the fruit which gave of a chaotic feeling of destruction.

Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Mark gritted his teeth as he took a huge bite of the fruit, the fruit then began to dissolve inside his body.

"Bah...I really hate this taste!" Mark was about to puke again but kept it in as he had already gotten used to the taste of the devil fruits.

Perhaps no one in the world could get used to the taste of the devil fruits except Mark as every single person in the world could only eat one fruit in their lifetime.

"Bang!"

The room Mark was sitting in began to break apart as chaotic force kept rushing out from his body.

"What's going on?" Capone Bege yelled as he looked towards the deckhouse of the ship. The destructive was so strong that it kept crushing every single thing in its path.

"Boooom!"

The back of the ship where the deckhouse was immediately shattered and broke apart as Mark's body could be seen falling down to the sea.

"What!" Everyone on the deck was shocked as they looked at the back of the ship which was slowly separated from the other half and sinking down.

"Are we under attack!?" The Z pirates on the other ships were shocked as they looked the first ship which looked to have been slashed in two parts.

Issho sheathed his sword slowly as the floor under the table which he was sitting on began to rise and hover a few centers above the first ship deck.

Yuri could also be seen hovering above her destroyed room which was sinking slowly to the bottom of the sea.

"Where is Mark?" Yuri screamed in panic as she looked at Mark's empty and destroyed room which was also sinking to the bottom of the sea. Mark obviously told her that he was going to his own room, which was why she knew where he was.

"The captain is sinking to the bottom of the ocean!" A Z pirate member screamed as he pointed at the sinking Mark. He was obviously a devil fruit user too as he felt helpless and couldn't save his captain.

Flint didn't hesitate as he jumped off the floating table and down to the sea and grabbed Mark by his collar, then pulled him up from the sea.
