Finishing Up The Battle

Fabien didn't continue his attack on Kizaru as he retreated and appeared behind Mark with his humanoid form.

"Captain, why don't you end this quickly?" Fabien asked quietly as he starred at Kizaru's indifferent face. Fabien was secretly injured by Kizaru's attack from before but he managed to hide it very well, only Mark, Satyr jr, Issho and Aokiji noticed it.

Kizaru heard Fabien's question to Mark as he had an incredibly good hearing, Fabien's attitude irritated him a bit and therefore he decided to take the initiative as he appeared in front Mark in a flash.

Mark was standing completely still as if he didn't notice someone appear right in front of his face.

"Swish.."

Mark's eyes suddenly brightened as he discovered something incredible, he could actually see what was about to happen. His observation Haki had just upgraded! He was able to see two seconds into the future right now! He saw Kizaru make a light swords from his hand and slash it across his chest as he was sent flying back.

Back to the current time, Kizaru appeared in front of Mark as he made a light sword from his light element as he slashed towards Mark.

The sword was a few centers away from slashing Mark's body when the sword was suddenly grabbed by a firm pitch-black hand covered in Busoshoku Haki.

"What!" Kizaru was shocked as he tried to let go of the light sword, but unfortunately for him before he could let go of the sword a hand grabbed his neck.

"Underestimating me?" Mark said slowly as he tightened the grip he had on Kizaru's neck. Kizaru couldn't breathe as he lost his devil fruit abilities immediately which he depended too much on.

Aokiji was shocked as he threw ice spears at Mark at an extremely fast speed.

Mark didn't dodge as he used Kizaru's body as a shield, the ice spears pierced Kizaru's body. Aokiji didn't know Kizaru lost his devil fruit abilities and therefore Kizaru couldn't let the ice spears go straight through his body.

Kizaru spat out a mouthful of blood while still being held in Mark's hand. The blood almost hit Mark but he managed to tilt his head to the side before it hit him.

"Quite ruthless, almost killing your own friend," Mark said with an innocent smile while looking at the panicked Aokiji.

The rest of the Z pirates crew members didn't join the battle as they stared at Mark who was currently playing around with the marine admirals.

"He is actually beating up a marine admiral so easily!" A pirate alliance captain screamed out in shock, he never imagined the man he was following to have such earth-shattering power.

Mark looked at the screaming Kizaru in his hand expressionless as he scanned the battlefield, he had almost lost three hundred alliance members.

This was just the beginning! Mark had feeling that he would probably lose all of his alliance members in the upcoming war, which was going to be more fiercer than this one.

Kizaru kept screaming in pain as he tried to wrinkle out of Mark's hand.

"Tell your men to stop right now!" Mark said towards Aokiji as he stared at the chaotic all-out battle.

"Everyone stop now!" Aokiji yelled towards the marines fighting the war. The marines immediately stopped as they distanced themselves from the pirates.

"Look at how many of my men you've killed!" Mark screamed enraged towards Aokiji who was currently standing on the ice sea with a face full of dismay.

"..." Aokiji didn't know what to say as he looked at the men scattered all over the battlefield deader than dead. It wasn't just Mark's men who died, a lot of the marines were also laying dead on the ground.

And he still had the cheek to say that only his men were killed! Despicable!

"What do you want!?" Aokiji asked with a frown on his face, this was humiliating! A marine compromising with a pirate! If Sakazuki heard about this, he would immediately go on a rampage.

"I will now present you guys with two options, join my fight with Blackbeard or die here!" Mark said with a serious face on his face.

"What!" Both marines and pirates were shocked! They were marines, not pirates! How bold! What an audacity!

Aokiji was also shocked when he heard what Mark said, this wasn't a laughing matter! If he really did agree to such an outrageous request the marines face would have gone down the drain.

"I can't agree to that!!" Aokiji face turned serious as he exhaled deeply. He seemed to be ready to give up his life for the reputation of the world government.

Mark wasn't surprised by Aokiji's rejection as he clenched his hand a bit more tightly on Kizaru's neck while shaking his head with disappointment.

"No! Wait!" Aokiji panicked when he saw Mark's actions which terrified him! If the marines were to lose one of their admirals to a pirate their face would immediately be completely shattered, he didn't even want to think about the consequences from the higher ups.

Mark pushed his dark powers into Kizaru's body as his body began to be devoured from the inside. The darkness power was trying to extract his devil fruit.

"Arrrgh!"

"Chaa!"

Kizaru's scream rang throughout the battlefield as Mark snapped his neck with a single movement of his hand. Kizaru died!

"Oops silly me, my hand slipped," Mark said with an innocent look on his face while looking at the furious Aokiji with expectations. Mark wasn't just satisfied with Kizaru's devil fruit as he was also eyeing Aokiji's secretly. It was as if he was begging Aokiji to make a move on him.

"This is the most stupid decision, you've ever made in your life!" Aokiji said while closing his eyes for a second and gnashing his teeth.

Aokiji suddenly snapped opened his eyes as he pushed his body to the extreme and went for Mark's head furiously.

"Swoosh!"

A slash came flying towards Aokiji as he was sent flying back a couple of meters.

"This old man suggests you leave with your remaining men." Issho could be seen with both his hands on his half sheathed sword while a devastating aura kept pouring out from him, he actually felt quite disgusted by this unnecessary battle.

Why would the marines be so meddlesome and interrupt a battle between some pirates? Shouldn't they be saving those island which needed their help? The fact that they cared more about their reputation instead of their own men made Issho sickened.

Protections of the innocent was more important than some mere reputation!

Aokiji looked at Issho for a second before turning his head towards the marines

"Retreat!" Aokiji yelled towards the marines.

Who was this old blind man who just stopped him with a single slash? This shocked Aokiji deeply, to actually think that the Z pirates had such a strong swordsman! He had the capabilities to fight him on even ground!

This made him very apprehensive. The world government had truly underestimated the Z pirates this time around!

Isshi turned his head towards Mark as if he wanted to know if Mark would disagree with his decision.

Mark shook his head when he saw Issho's actions, he obviously wouldn't go after Aokiji when Issho had just given him a way out.

But that devil fruit though! Mark really wanted to add it to his collection! Another day...
