Battling Marines

While the marines boat finally started to stabilize in the waters that had calmed down. They could see their opponents.

The four of them were standing on the air, each had a smile on their face. The marines could see one of the men say something but couldn't make out what it was before all four of the men started laughing.

The marines gulped in fear, these people were insane, they attacked a marine ship lead by the marine hero Garp, and were all laughing without a care in the world.

The four smiling devils all charged at the same time as their eerie laughter filled the void of silence.

"Hahahaha! / Bwahahahaha! / Dahahahaha! / Ahahahahaha!"

The marines shivered as the reality of the situation set in and they started to feel terror.

Suddenly, four unique and powerful lightning tendrils began to appear around the four objects of their fear. The laughter of their enemies only got louder and the feeling of regret that had begun to fester in the marines' stomachs became more visceral.

Four different colours of the supreme king haki rolled out over the ocean and tore through the seas as the calming waves began to pick up and ripple outwards. Two marines stepped up to stop the waves of pressure.

Garp stood his ground as his second in command, Bogard geppo'd to his side. Garp's own colour of the supreme king haki released and attempted to combat the four waves that threatened to take out all his men behind him.

The clash of haki was nearly as fierce as the haki infused attacks earlier as the shockwave once again ripped through its surroundings. However, this time, Garp's haki had lost the battle slightly and the marines behind him bore the brunt of the attack as the four devils friends barely even felt a breeze of wind.

A quarter of the marines on the ship foamed at the mouth and fell to the deck, out cold. The rest of the marines grit their teeth and bore the pressure. They were shocked that so many of their fellow marines had fallen to the haki. These were all elite marines after all, many of whom were used to being trained by Zephyr or Garp.

The marines looked up and saw two of the four devils plummeting towards them with sinister grins.

A kid with red hair slashed down and left a giant gash in the deck of the boat as the marines in the way dodged.

Another kid with white hair and crimson eyes that stuck fear into anyone he looked at laughed like a maniac.

"Ahahaha! Shanks! You missed!" He called out as his staff slammed down on a marine who tried to block with his sword.

The sword snapped under the pressure of the blow and lodged into the deck below the man as the staff continued on its downward path and hit the marine in the face.

Alex laughed and swung his staff in a circle around him as the ends extended to increase the range.

He hit another four marines as the rest dodged. Alex smiled as a sword sliced through the air at his face. He leaned backwards and the sword missed his nose by an inch. Lugh's tongue shot out behind Alex and hit the deck pushing him forwards as his boots released ice and allowed him to skate along the deck.

He swung his staff at a group of marines in front of him. They all dodged and his staff hit a cannon instead, denting the barrel.

Alex chuckled. "You guys are a lot better than the guys we faced yesterday."

Shanks laughed as he ran through the air above Alex. "What? Are you complaining? Roger and Dragon are busy with the two big guns, so we have to take out the small fry."

Alex chuckled and soru'd along the deck while smacking half a dozen marines into a wall. "I just feel a bit bad for bullying the new recruits."

The marines grit their teeth. None of them were new recruits! They were the elite marines with promising futures!

A marine touched the deck beneath him and swung his arms backwards. Suddenly, the deck under Alex started to shift and become softer as it turned into a ribbon.

Alex fell backwards as he lost his footing. "Woah!" He called out as Lugh's tongue wrapped around the mast and pulled him towards it. Alex landed on the mast sideways and smiled.

"What the fuck was that?" Alex asked as he looked at the man holding part of the deck and twirling it around.

The man spun the deck around like a whip and sent it at Alex.

Alex jumped off the mast and landed on another part of the deck as he dodged the ribbon. However, Alex missed the spot he was aiming for and he started falling sideways. He felt nauseous as his center of gravity shifted and his sense of direction was completely misconstrued.

Alex tumbled along the deck and tried to grab at it and stop himself from falling off the deck. Alex looked around and saw one of the marines holding his hand in a certain pose as he stared at Alex.

Alex flew off the deck sideways and began falling towards the ship he came from. Alex rubbed his temples and took a deep breath.

"So, he flipped gravity. That's fucking crazy. I'm literally falling sideways." Alex mumbled before smiling.

"Ray! Catch!" Alex chanted as he reached the pirate's boat.

Rayleigh caught the kid who was sideways and laughed. "Quite the peculiar situation you got yourself in."

Alex smiled. "I'll figure it out, just toss me back."
