Wano Country, Whole Cake Island.
"Stupid brat!"
After hanging up the phone, Charlotte Linlin was still fuming, "How dare they refuse my proposal!"
"Well, Mother,"
Beneath her throne stood a tall man, Charlotte Family's finest creation, Katakuri, who calmly replied, "What should we do?"
"Katakuri, gather our forces!"
With a thump on the armrest of her throne, the hefty Charlotte Linlin exclaimed, "That bastard Kaido dares to refuse my help! Let's see how far he can fight against Whitebeard! It would be best if they both end up heavily injured, so I can swallow their territory all at once!"
Suddenly, she grinned wickedly. "Of course, if Kaido gets thoroughly beaten by Whitebeard and has to come crawling to me for help, that wouldn't be so bad either."
"I understand, Mother."
Katakuri nodded lightly.
Marine Base G-13.
This Marine base was quite deep in the New World, serving as the front line for the Marines against the pirates of the New World.
At the top floor of the base, in the commander's office, stood Admiral Sengoku, with his round, explosive hairstyle, gazing at a massive nautical chart.
"The Whitebeard Pirates have moved toward the territory of the Beast Pirates. The war should break out in a few days."
"Admiral Sengoku," A man draped in a Marine coat, wearing a gray hoodie underneath and a Marine hat, spoke solemnly, "Should we wait for Whitebeard and his crew to severely injure each other before we take them all down?"
"We'll discuss that later. The priority is to prevent anyone else from interfering in this war."
Sengoku's finger pointed to a spot on the chart, where there was a cluster of islands marked as Wano Country. "Kaido and Charlotte Linlin have had a close relationship since the Rocks Pirates era. It's hard to say that Kaido wouldn't seek Linlin's aid if they engage with the Whitebeard Pirates."
"If that happens, Whitebeard would not stand a chance. However, this is the outcome the government absolutely does not want to see."
If the Beast Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates joined forces, there would be no one left in the New World to stand in their way.
Even the slightest possibility could not be taken lightly.
On the map, the Wano seas were marked with a significant dot by Sengoku. "Keep a close watch on Charlotte Linlin! Don't let her get in the way!"
As for Kaido and Whitebeard, let them fight it out for now.
What the Navy should do will depend on the outcome of their battle.
Hive Island.
Ochoku stood at the makeshift port where numerous ships had gathered, and many pirates were busily transporting supplies up and down.
"The manpower has been gathered," he said solemnly. "It's time for us to take action."
Behind him stood another man. "Boss Ochoku, what should we do? Should we attack Kaido's territory from behind Whitebeard?"
"Why should we help Whitebeard?" Ochoku replied coolly.
"Eh?" The man was taken aback. "But what about Snake's revenge—"
"That's why we need to wait," Ochoku stated. "We must honor Snake's sacrifice by gaining the most benefits."
"Let Whitebeard and Kaido fight it out first. Ideally, we should wait until they both suffer heavy losses, and then we can reap the benefits!"
The man fell silent for a moment before nodding. "I understand."
Meanwhile, in a certain sea area near the Beasts Pirates' territory, aboard the Moby Dick.
"Sorry, Pops," Marco sat on the ship's railing, slumping his back and shoulders. "I didn't accomplish anything, and I've caused so much trouble for the crew."
"Foolish son." Whitebeard shook his head. "You didn't do anything wrong; I underestimated that kid's strength. So, Marco, there's no need to blame yourself. If something is beyond your capability, it's something we all do together. This is family. So-called family is about relying on each other, facing all challenges together."
Marco's body trembled.
"That's right! Marco!"
On the side, Vista shouted, "Pops will help you, and we'll help you! This time, we'll make Kaido and that brat pay the price!"
Marco's shoulders lifted.
Family truly holds immense importance, and he felt it once again.
"But Pops, how exactly should we fight this battle?"
Diamond Jozu said in a low voice, "Should we directly attack Wano?"
"Isn't that a bit foolish?"
Vista chimed in, "We've all been to Wano; attacking there is like looking for death given the terrain!"
Whitebeard's crescent-like mustache trembled slightly, and he smiled faintly.
"That brat Kaido has never refused a challenge! Prepare all the pirate crews! Next, we launch a full-scale assault on Kaido's territory!"
"That's true. Given the Beast Pirates' style, they won't just sit back and let us attack," Vista said excitedly, a grin spreading across his face.
"So it's going to be a full-blown war! I can't wait!"
The Whitebeard Pirates were ready to attack!
