3 Chapter 03 : Uncle Brian

A gust of wind passed.

The branches swayed, and the mustard leaves flew up.

After Mars woke up, it was still evening, and the sky was full of red clouds.

He rubbed his eyes and sat up.Meanwhile Blaze found a thick wooden stick on the grass from the forest and started to slash again and again.

His black hair was soaked in sweat, and he didn't even know how long he had been practicing.

Mars looked at him blankly.

Blaze saw him waking up so he stopped slashing to wipe the sweat from his forehead then smiled: "You're awake."

"Well, after I fell asleep, have you been exercising until now?"

Mars stared at him blankly.

"Well, that's it."

Hearing this, Mars couldn't help but bring a trace of admiration when looking at him, as if he had met his friend for the first time.

"I found some fruits and brought them as a reward for the bread in the morning."

As he spoke, Blaze stroked his wet hair upwards to avoid blocking his vision.

Only then did Mars notice a pile of fruit beside him.

He couldn't help swallowing, his stomach groaning just in time.

He immediately picked up an apple and ate it, while eating it, he said, "You picked so many fruits by yourself?"

"yeah."

Blaze continued to swing his stick.

"Where did you pick it? The fruit trees around here should be all empty by now."

Mars asked curiously.

"Um... I went to the deeper end of the forest a little bit."

Mars stopped eating and looked at Blaze:

"Isn't that the place where Father and Mother Mary forbid us to go? I heard that there are a lot of ferocious beasts, Blaze, you... did you really go there?"

Blaze, who was still swinging his stick, turned his back to him and didn't speak.

"If father and Mother Mary knew about this..."

Mars lowered his hand holding the apple.

"You don't have to say this to them."

"But..."

"Don't worry, I won't go next time, only this time."

"Ohh... okay then."

...

The next few days.

Blaze got up early in the morning to go into the forest and start exercising.

Come back at breakfast, then disappear with Mars, and wait until the evening to come back in profuse sweat.

After a night's rest, to go out again in the early morning of the next day...

Such days lasted for ten days in a row.

During that time, Harris had a chat with Blaze one morning.

After learning that he was doing it to become stronger.

Harris said nothing.

This morning, Blaze checked his attributes after doing basic exercises and 200 push-ups.

[_ Host : Blaze

Age : 8 years old.

Vitality value : 21.

>Sun breathing technique 0% (no mastery). _]

"After 16 days of extreme exercise, the Vitality value has only increased by 3 points..."

Blaze was a little dissatisfied with this speed.

But in fact, this speed is already considered fast for an eight-year-old child who is still in the early stages of physical development.

"The intensity of the exercise is enough. Although the Sun breathing technique can't run, only a part of it is enough to repair the fatigue and damage of my body muscles at night."

"Now, the main reason is that this situation has relatively large physical limitations and lacks nutritional supply. The bread and fruits alone are not enough for me to consume. I need meat! A lot of meat."

Blaze thought to himself.

But where can I get the meat?

In the forest, with his current strength, he was still too weak to deal with beasts.

In the sea... can't even think about it.

It seems that there is only the river.

Blaze thought to himself.

I have to make a fishing tool as soon as possible.

Is the fishing rod better or is the fishing net better?

Sure enough, fishing nets are better, and fishing rods are a bit time-consuming.

For materials, go to the garbage station to find it...

"Blaze."

A voice awakened Blaze from his thoughts.

He turned his head and looked away.

A tall bearded man with a big bag was standing on the side of the road.

"Uncle Brian."

Blaze yelled in surprise.

He is the best friend of Father Harris, the fisherman in the city.

"What are you doing here? Is Harris at home?"

Brian asked, walking towards him.

"Father went to the city, so he's not at home."

When Blaze approached him, he immediately smelled a fishy smell.

"Uncle Brian, do you have something important to do with Father?"

"Haha..... No it's fine , it's just that I got a lot of fish from going to sea this time, so I brought some for all of you."

Brian laughed.

Blaze's eyes lit up when he heard the words.

He walked up to Brian, looked up at him and said:

"Uncle Brian, do you have any unused fishing nets?"

"Unwanted fishing net..."

Brian was taken aback by his sudden question, and then he thought for a while and said: "There are some discarded fishing nets in the warehouse that have been torn in some places. Why are you asking about this?"

"Can you give it to me?"

Blaze asked.

"Yeah, it's okay, but what do you want those for?"

"Fishing."

"Fishing? That kind of broken net can't catch fish. You have to fix it a little. Forget it, since you want it, just go back and get it from me."

"Thank you Uncle Brian. By the way, please don't tell the others about this matter."

"Okay".
