New World, Sunshine Village

A young man full of wounds with tattered clothes sat at a tree after continuous running from the nobles that attacked his village because the villagers didn't welcome them. He then remembered his mother and father intercept the bandits to allow him and his sister to escape, but sadly his sister got separated from him.

Looking at the big fire from the direction where his village was he can't help but shed a tear for his fellow villagers.

As he was about to continue escaping he suddenly saw his running sister on the other side of the forest so he ran with all his might just as he was getting closer he shouted "Riza" and before even his have the chance to turn *Bang* a gunshot rang and he saw his sister turned around with blood oozing from her stomach "Brother help m-" before she could even finish speaking *Bang* as another gunshot sounded and his sister fall to the ground a soldier holding a gun in his back appeared.

It was at this moment the time seemed to slow down a big lump of tears falls down in his cheek"Aaaaahhhhhh" A sudden release of aura and suppression surfaced on the whole island as he started losing consciousness while suddenly he got wrapped in a black cloak and a scythe appeared in his hands then his vision turned black and he started massacring every single living thing on the island.

On the far side of the island a ship that has a huge canon that is in the middle of a pair of mermaids.

A tall man grinning man wearing a red captains coat got off the ship, the moment he stepped on to the island the grin on his face disappeared "This aura…." As he looked at the Strawberry blonde man that only nodded then they suddenly sped through the direction the aura is coming from.

When they reach the source of the aura they got shocked as the closer they get the stronger it is, When they saw that it was currently massacring the nobles and it's soldiers they decided to just wait for the figure in black to finished.

After killing the last noble the figure then looked at a certain place in the forest then the cloak slowly faded revealing an exhausted and wounded young man.

The two shivered when the black figure looked at them and sigh in relief noticing that the figure didn't go after them at the same time couldn't hide their shock as the black figure revealed to be an unconscious child and they hurried to get the child treated at by their crew's doctor.

2 days later...

'Ugh, my head hurts' As the young man is about to sit a sudden gush of familiar memories appeared in his brain, As he was spacing out the man in the red captain clothes entered his room noticing that the kid is pacing out he quietly sat in the nearby chair waiting.

After 5 minutes he finally stopped of spacing out "Kid what's your name?" Asked by the now I recognize as Gol D. Roger I stared at his grinning face and replied"I'm Shawn Wolfstein D. Shawn"

Roger Thought 'The D huh' And he Laughs as he introduces himself "I'm Gol D Roger The pirate king" Then I stare at him for a while and said"You're a pirate king huh? you must be strong" He just laughs and about to answer when the ship when the ship tilted followed by the sound of cannons firing.

"Wait here kid ill be back in just a sec" As he walked out of the room not heeding his words I followed outside only to see Roger pirates fighting against Shiki's armada, in the middle of their fight a strong storm came in and wipe out half of Shiki's ship and unfortunately got a steering wheel impaled to his head forcing him and his armada to retreat.

After that fight only did I see the terrifying strength of him and his crew, Noticing me Roger Laughs and said "I think I don't need to answer your question now? Huhuwhahaha" I chuckled at his antics and sat down the deck and looked at him dead straight in the eyes then bow my head and said "Pirate King, Can you make me strong, Strong enough that I will never lose something that is precious to me" At the last part tear started streaming down my face as I remembered Riza's face.

The atmosphere in the ship's deck suddenly grew weird and Roger looked at the small puddle of tears on the floor and smiled "Muahahaha if you wanna be strong you can start by wiping those tears and snot on the floor" It was as if a magic word the atmosphere suddenly became lovely as they all laugh

and said "Welcome aboard" As I wiped the tears and snot from my face I got up and bowed "My name is Wolfstein D. Shawn, Thanks for having me" Then they said again "Welcome Aboard Shawn"

As I was suddenly held by from what I see Shanks and Buggy to the crew and started chatting with me.

After that, I finally started my apprenticeship in the hands of the Roger pirates.
