A young man around the age of 14 woke up in a dark alley. He looks around and noticed that his body seems to be smaller and younger. "What is going on?" He said.

The man's name is Koby, he was 22 years old and he lives in New York. He remembers that he just came home from work and he saw some people in his house with bags full of his stuff on their back. Then he got shot and watched as they left him to die, bleeding out on his wooden floor.

Koby noticed that his body is skinny and short. He has pink hair and wears glasses. He wore a white button-up T-shirt and black pants with white and red shoes. He seems to be full of bruises as his body hurts everywhere. He was also holding a strange fruit in his hand that looks like a devil fruit. The strange-looking fruit was shaped like a pear but bigger with the color blue and darker blue swirls.
"Gulp." "Blach."
He decided to eat the fruit as he was starving but ended throwing up afterward.
"That was horrible."
Koby was suddenly hit with a headache accompanied by some memories of the body. They seem to have the same name but spelled as 'Coby' and he was shocked that he was in an alley in Shells Town in the One Piece World.
'So I died and somehow transmigrated into this body.' He thought as he was shocked that this actually happened to him. Just like how he usually reads in a novel about the MC transmigrating into someone's body after death.
He remembers that he was about to go fishing like every other day but some pirates hopped on his boat. He was about to be kidnapped by the Alvida Pirates, but he struggled and got away. Even though he was badly beaten up close to his death.
"So that's how I was able to come here, this guy seems to have been killed after getting beaten up." Kody murmured.
He got another soul crushing headache as memories and experiences from Coby in the original canon had, surges through his mind.
He blanked out and woke up after who knows how long. He forced himself to get up and walked out of the dark alley. He walks back to his house and went to sleep as he feels too exhausted after dying and having a supposed dead young man's body.
Koby woke up and thought, "So I wasn't dreaming, I really am in a different world and I even have the memories and experience of this body from the canon which will help me a lot to become stronger." He then washed, bandaged himself, and ate some food. As he was eating, he remembered that he ate a devil fruit before passing out the first time.
He decided to find out what it was and not long after, his body turned into lightning.
"WOW!!" He exclaimed, shocked that the devil fruit was the logia 'rumble rumble fruit' that Enel had in the canon. Devil Fruits are mystical fruits that can be found throughout the world and when consumed, it grants the eater a special super-human power, at the cost of the eater's ability to swim. Devil Fruits are classified into 3 different categories: Paramecia, Logia, and Zoan.
The most common of the three types, Paramecia-type Devil Fruits grant their users superhuman powers, as it can alter features of the user's body and allows the user to modify people, objects, and environment around them. There are also Paramecia users that can generate and manipulate substances.
The users of Zoan-type Devil Fruits gain the ability to transform into an animal and they have a number of sub-classification, which are Ancient Zoan, Artificial Zoan, and the most powerful and rarest forms are Mythical Zoan.
The rarest of the three Devil Fruit types is the Logia-type Devil Fruits, which allow their users to create, control, and transform themselves into a natural element. The Logia users are able to have an elemental transformation that effectively makes the user intangible, allowing the user to remain in control of their body, even when it is broken into pieces.
'FUCK YEAH!, good for me, sucks for him.' He thought as he started to plan his next moves.
Koby knows that if he wasn't here, the original owner of this body would have joined the Marines but he decided to become a pirate hunter for now until he becomes a pirate. He decided to train his body and his devil fruit before setting out to do anything. With the memories and experience that is now a part of him, he would train to get his body as strong as in the canon when Garp trained him and even surpass it.

*Timeskip of around 2 years*
During the past 2 years, Koby's only focus was training with the occasional bounty hunting as he knows that even with an invincible fruit like the 'Thunder Fruit,' he wasn't really invincible.
In the first 6 months, he trained in the 6 Rokushiki of the Marines to get his body as strong as in the canon. He found out that in the first month he was easily able to use 'Observation Haki' due to his talents and another reason is his devil fruit power.
Observation haki is a form of haki that grants the user a sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others. When trained to the extreme limits, a user can even see into the future. With the rumble rumble fruit, Koby's observation haki can pick up electromagnetic waves from the air, allowing him to sense, even overhear conversations and everything around him with extraordinary range, the range covered the whole island of Shells Town and some parts of the seas.
He also trained his 'Armament Haki' to being able to cover his whole body in in black armament alongside his 'Observation Haki' for around a year. Armament Haki is a form of haki that allows a user to cover themselves with an invisible armor to strengthen his attacks & defense and even touch and damage logia devil fruit users.
The last form of haki, 'Conqueror's Haki' showed currently no signs of awakening for Koby. Conqueror's Haki is a rare form of Haki that cannot be attained through training and can only be found in one out of several million people. This haki allows the user to exert their own willpower over others causing them to feel fear or even lose consciousness. When trained to the extreme limits, a user can even affect physical forms such as objects and the environment.
The last 6 months of his training is spent on adapting to his devil fruit powers of lightning. He copied some of Enel's moves and created many other things that are based on his other world's theories as he thinks that the thunder fruit was wasted on Enel as he didn't used the full potential power of the devil fruit that is considered to be as strong or even stronger than the 3 admirals invincible devil fruit powers.

Shells Town
After 2 years Kobe looked very different as he looks and has the same height as Coby in the canon. He was wearing a white jacket, black pants, and a light blue neckerchief, as well as a brightly patterned bandanna worn tied across his forehead with glasses on top of it.
Koby just returned from bounty hunting and as he was walking towards the Marines' Base, his haki picked up a commotion in a restaurant, where he saw Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro. He has green hair and a muscular body. He wore a black bandana that covers his head and white shirt. He has black pants and black boots with green cloth around his waist like a belt.
Zoro just saved a little girl from a dog and punched Helmeppo in the face. Koby remembers that this day was three weeks before Luffy arrives in Shells Town and recruits Zoro. He was excited as he decided that it's finally time to start his pirate crew.
